Fairyland Realpuki discussion - part 21

I've been trying to take pictures, but every time I have things set up outside the sun disappears and clouds start threatening rain.

Still, Wisp managed to climb a tree while the others were standing on a ledge trying not to be blown away (it's windy out).

(Una tried climbing the tree, too, but she ended up losing a foot - I really dislike magnetic feet when photographing outside. Fortunately I found it again using a telescopic magnet.)

Thank you! I hope Fairyland does RealPukis again soon. It would be nice if they did some of the older sculpts again…especially the ones that you want! I have all of the sculpts that I want so I’m hoping for something new too.

 

I have everything I want currently, but RoRo or TiTi could possibly tempt me. I wish they would bring back the elf shoes. And possibly things like winking face plates.

I have a lot of Kelly/Shelley clothes that my PP can wear at Halloween, but most of them are too big for the RPs. I was planning to do something for Christmas, but it's probably not going to happen. Too busy with RL stuff and being a responsible adult... Ugh.

 

Bah Humbug….Keebler is just not in a holiday mood! He’s really just teasing the others & actually loves Christmas & can’t wait until we start decorating

I started decorating, and Wisp and Toby changed into their holiday outfits. I was going to make them some new ones, but time got away from me.



I've been dressing some of my RP and PP for Christmas, and I love these little guys so much!!
Toby got a new sleeping face from the MP. I managed to fix the broken ear, but I'm not happy with it, and also, I love the sleeping Soso face, so when I saw an Anubis plate on the MP I had to get it for him!!

I hope next year brings another re-release of RP and/or PP from FL. Better for my wallet if they don't, but I'm beginning to think RP are like Pokemon - gotta get them all!!

I too would love at least one new RP sculpt in the new year. Hopefully not until I recover from property taxes though!

 

It was nice out, and the first snowdrops popped up in my tiny front yard, so I took Una out for a picture shoot.



(My neighbour walked by and thought I'd fallen and hurt myself, because I was sitting on the stone pavers trying to get to eye level with Una and the flowers! Fortunately I am used to the neighbours thinking I'm weird. )

 

That's an adorable picture! I'm glad you don’t mind that your neighbors think you are weird! I think you are perfectly normal!

 

Darling picture @Fairy Milliner . You have snowdrop flowers & we have about 7 to 8 inches of snowflakes. Won’t be taking any outdoor pictures here any time soon!

I’ve been going way back & reading lots of the old pages here. So fun to see so many pictures & read the great posts…especially all the excitement when a new RP was coming. Miss those times! Wish Fairyland would produce them regularly like they used to. My RPs are still my very favorite dolls…as many as I have already I would really love some darling new sculpts.

Fairyland has an announcement on their website about rereleasing realpukis for a short time, blank sleeping faces as a gift again, as well as offering elf gray skin. They have Pupu, Popo, and Titi under the face plates available last time. I hope this means that those might be part of this release! I'd love to have a chance to get Pupu.

 

So cool! I’m hoping to see some sculpts they haven’t brought back yet. Like Roro! I’d love to get her in tan

 

Well, I took the plunge... Titi and Pupu this time, I really should stop doing this to my poor wallet...

Pupu has been ordered! Now I just need to work on making hats or find a wig that will work.

 

I ordered a tan Popo. I have been hoping Fairyland would make a RealFee with Popo face, but that is quite unlikely, so I ordered a RealPuki.It is my first RealPuki. I have one PukiPuki, but I think his clothes won't fit, so I'll have to try to make very tiny clothes. I have no Idea where to get a wig, so I guess Popo Will just have to wear hats...

 

I think they look fine without wigs. At least my two (Soso & Toki) don’t have wigs only hats. Same with my RealPukis

 

I just ordered a blank, tan Titi from DDE! t will be fun having a new realpuki!

 

Denver Doll carries 3/4 wigs that fit my Puki Pukis, who have the same head size as Real Pukis. Looking forward to seeing the new Real Pukis coming home soon! I haven't don much with my duo lately.

 

If anyone else is thinking about ordering a Realpuki it looks like you’d better do it quickly. They’ve an announcement on their site saying that production of all lines except Minifee and Fairyline will be suspended from the beginning of October until November and given that the Realpuki release was temporary it’s unclear whether they will still be available when things resume.

Well so much for me reducing my bjd collection, I’ve just gone and ordered three of these little rascals….Tyni, Obi and Popo.
I ordered Obi first then thought “he looks a bit shy and will be easily led astray by my Patti my Pukipuki” so I decided to get mischievous little Popo to distract Patti. Then I ordered Tyni as he looks quite sensible and will hopefully keep them out of too much trouble! That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it!

 

RP is cutest with a hat , IMO

 

Oh gosh, I hope DDE ordered a lot of extra's of Popo as I somehow missed the ordering period. Ughhh................. Fall always inspires me to play with my littles a bit.

My Popo has been shipped. He is now somewhere on the way. I hope he'll be home some day next week.

Popo has arrived! He's very cute and very tiny. I ordered him on 10th of December, so it took less than 2 months for him to arrive.

Umm I think you might mean August @spih? Otherwise it’s really impressive that they’ve sent an order that hasn’t happened yet!

I ordered mine at the beginning of October so hopefully my trio of trouble will be ready in the next few weeks!

Don’t worry @spih, we all do it or at least I know I do…..did it fairly recently by placing a date on some photos that hadn’t yet happened at the time.
My ND brain just won’t let go when I see things like that so I do apologise if it made you feel awkward, tried to make it humorous. Maybe you can name him Marty or McFly!

Can’t wait to get my lot, been wanting blue Obi for ages….he’s going to be a Nac MacFeegle called ‘Wee Daft Hamish’ or something like that!

I did originally think of calling him ‘Wee Daft Wullie’ but although us Scots are used to the name Wullie the slang use of its more common version could make it awkward so I’m having to rethink

Wow! I have one of the older Popos and I must say that I like the face painting on yours much better - especially the mouth. I need to post a picture of my older one.

I have to say, I thought PukiPuki would be the smallest I'd go, but all these great photos are making me yearn for a RealPuki!

 

If anyone is interested, Fairyland seems to be offering RealPukis again.

 

My two have just shipped, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

That’s what I do and it seems to work, I don’t bother using the image URL button option on the top row here anymore when making a post as it sometimes then doesn’t show the picture and then I get flustered trying to sort it

@spih oh gosh McFly is utterly adorable in his toasty new outfit, that Agaric hat is so cute!

@JinCIncy I just love the expression on Pappi’s face, I think he’s trying to hide the fact the bones are a bit uncomfortable on his tiny behind though. Where did you get his skeletal steed from? It’s so cool!

 

@Blodeuwedd I believe I got the skeletal steed at Michael's or Hobby Lobby. I've had them for quite a few years, so honestly I don't remember, but it's usually one of those 2 places that I find my "props".

Aah ok, thank you for replying. I’m in the UK so don’t have access to those. You guys have way cooler Halloween decor than we tend to and that one was a brilliant find.

@Jonlyn glad I managed to help as I’m not always the clearest at explaining things these days, middle aged brain fog always loves to strike when it’s most inconvenient!

Heehee loving your wee Soso @JinCIncy. It’s such a pity Realfee Soso doesn’t have those ears as I think they’re part of the charm, part of the character is missing with smaller ears.

I hadn't noticed Soso's freckles before and now I'm smitten. I have the Anubis, and never considered that the normal faceup was different. The desire to make an order while they are still available is very intense, but what resin color and do I really need another tiny?
