    3. @Dollquest that Totoro top is so cute! Where did you find it? I'd love one for my Hermes!

    4. Oh my…how adorable are these!:) Pure awesomeness at it’s best. These headbands really add to their wild and carefree look, so perfect for realpukis!;)

    5. @Leo Pheonix I got the Totoro top from the Etsy seller, SmilingStarTH. It is very well made but you do have to be patient. It tooj just over a month for the seller to send it but after it was sent, it came quickly.
@PoeticSoul I was really pleased with the feather headbands. The seller also sent me some gifts (actually, the white headband was a gift! They are quite fun to play with!

    7. @Buzzibee Thank you! Realpukis do adorable well!

    8. Does anyone have pictures of the newest Soso?? I would love to see them.

    9. What a darling family of sosos @Dollquest ❤️

    10. Thanks for sharing! I don’t think there are enough pictures, or convos on this thread. Your little crew are adorable. I’m having trouble dressing mine. Finding clothes that fit is really hard.

      • x 1
    11. Your crew is just the cutest! I’ve always adored the Soso sculpt and was so happy to be able to get one from their recent rerelease. That smile and those happy cheeks just really tickle me! You’re so fortunate to have two sets of twins. They’re marvelous!:)

    12. Thank you so much! I have a lot of fun with this group!
@Brenay I do sew for mine. Once I got over the fact I actually had to sew these clothes by hand, I was fine. Now that I look at my group picture though, I see 2 of them are dressed in clothing from SmilingStarTH on Etsy. It takes over a month for the clothing to come to the US, but it is well made and well priced. The knitted item is from someone who is unavailable now because of the war. Sadly, so many of the Realpuki clothing makers are from that region.

    13. I found Mattel's Kelly and MGA's Lil Bratz clothes will fit most of the time. Kelly's shoes will also fit.
      Good Hunting!

    15. @Brenay They’re so adorable! Such a wonderful crew, and such a perfect way to show their size in comparison to a human hand. For anyone who might wonder, this is a great and helpful visual.:)

    16. Thanks, I’m kind of sad at how slow this thread is going. These little bjds are just so adorable. I’m going to try to make more posts and photos.

There is a RealPuki faceBook group called RealPuki Lovers Ball Jointed Doll Group. People are pretty active there although it would also be nice to have some photos here too!

    18. Thanks for letting me know. I’m going to go look for the group right now!

    19. Hey, can anyone tell me if the Realpuki faceplate will go on any other doll?

I have been looking for a Realpuki Soso for ages and I've only found his faceplate for sale, so no body or headplate.

    20. Quote from the Fairyland site: "Faceplates for Pukipuki can be put on RealPuki. Magic Items, head, wigs and outfits for Pukipuki can be used but may look too big. Realpuki faceplates can be put on pukipuki, but other parts and items may not work."

      • x 1
    21. Don't you have to have a special head back for that though?

    22. No, you're thinking of Realfee and Pukifee! I've tried the Pukipuki fp on a Realpuki head plate and vice versa many years ago. I can't find my Pukipuki right now to take pix, alas.

      • x 1
    23. Oh - that's interesting - Now I want to go try my Realpuki heads on my Pukipukis!

      • x 1
    24. Just for y'all, I tried trading Pukipuki and Realpuki faceplates. 2 PP faceplates snapped into an RP headback just fine but 2 RP faceplates didn't fit PP. I didn't try every PP/RP combo I could have, though.
I have had trouble with a few RP faceplates not fitting RP headbacks! Not many but enough to be irritated about it. :| Maybe over time, something changes with RPs. (I don't own recasts, so that's not it.)

Anyhoo, I actually stopped by to show how I tried to stay cool in August by knitting an ice-and-snow dress for my Anubis RP with sparkly thread (which did not show up in the pic) and invisible thread (which kinda did)! Maybe better results next time!

    25. @Answer42 Oooooh! That turned out so nice!:) The use of sparkly thread and invisible thread is a lovely combo of textures, and I love the tiny beads at the hem…a lovely finishing touch!

      • x 1
    26. @Answer42 are you going to start selling these wonderful creations?;)

      • x 1
    27. I don't believe she can answer that without violating the rules about marketing in the threads.

    28. @PoeticSoul Thank you!
@Dollquest You are so KIND! and see below.
@clochette Great reminder but the answer is no, so I think I'm safe! :XD:
I posted a basic version of the above RP dress pattern for free on the free site Ravelry under "Dress for 3.3" BJD Doll".
My free RP sweater pattern is under "Sweater for 3.3" BJD Doll".
If you don't knit, another knitter might make one for you.
Realpukis are SO CUTE, they're my knitting MUSE!

    29. Darling clothes @Answer42! Such tiny & perfect stitches.

This poor little girl still doesn’t have a permanent name. I don’t think it bothers her as long as she has a lollipop she’s perfectly happy!

    30. @Jonlyn She’s thoroughly precious! And so perfect with that lollipop too. Your photos are always so amazing…it gives me so much joy to see your crew of little ones. They’re spectacular!:D With her hair, she makes me think of a Marigold.;)

    31. Thank you so much @PoeticSoul ! I love taking pics especially of my wee ones. Gives me joy to know that you enjoy them❤️

When there are no new Real Pukis, sometimes a new wig helps ease the longing for a new doll. Keeley has always looked babyish to me, I think this darling wig makes her look like she’s growing up.

      • x 10
    33. Oh yes! And it appears she certainly has her girly-girl priorities in their proper place!
You’re right, this wig gives her much more of a grown up vibe. It’s a wonderful photo.

      • x 1
    34. Keeley is so cute in her lovely outfit with matching bow in her hair! So sweet!

I was very exited to get my new realpukis (Soso) last April! Strangely, I somehow spent last summer taking pictures mostly of my old ones, my Obi duo. Here they are enjoying summer at its best

    35. @Lemon Balm Sprite What a fantastic photo! I love it and they’re certainly in their element taking care of those peaches. Perhaps they’re thinking of making a peach cobbler.:) It’s amazing how different they look too…even though their sculpts and clothes are identical, their coloring gives each of them some real individuallity.

    36. Has anyone here ever sanded the teeth off their Realpuki Obi?

I really want Realpuki Soso, but I almost never see him for sale and when I do, he always sells in a couple of hours and I just miss it.

I've found an awake and a sleeping faceplate, but don't know if I could hybrid them with anything. I only just found an Obi for sale, but I am not particularly fond of the teeth.

So I am wondering if it is possible to remove them?

    37. @Lelycat What a cute bedroom Kiki has!

@LenaV I think it would be fairly simple to sand down the teeth on Obi if you wanted to. I've personally never done more than seam sanding on any of my BJDs, though.

    38. Denver Doll has Soso in stock

    39. I sent my tan Obi off to my favourite faceup artist to remove the teeth on both faceplates. Looks great! I can't recall right now if I posted pix here, but I did on FB.

    40. And they're gone! Wow, that was fast! Little Soso is so cute!

Obi introduces my "new to me" Aki. These two are my very different RealPukis. I have never had a BW fairyLand doll before. (Or a gray one for that matter!)

    41. DDE still has a few of the "Designer Complete" full sets for the Anubis Soso release, if anyone is looking for one.

    42. They put more out! They were gone yesterday!

    43. No, you didn't post any pix here. Could you please? I would love to see it.

    44. @El BJD Yup, I'd love to see your revised Obi, too!
I'd love to do have the buck teeth removed on one of my Obis.

    45. Here's Forrest, aka Obi, with his buck teeth removed!

    46. Forrest is darling @El BJD . Makes me regret not getting an Obi!

    47. Thank you, Jonlyn!! His teeth just seemed so exaggerated for his size, that I quite despised them.

      • x 1
    48. I kinda wondered why they made them so big too. I have also seen people leave the teeth but create a face-up that doesn’t accentuate them. I did, however get used to my little Obi’s teeth and since she is gray, it kind of just goes with her unusual appearance.

      • x 1
    49. El BJD, Forrest looks so lovely without his buck teeth! It makes Obi sculpt almost unrecognizable.
I also had plans to do something about those theeth. But as Dollquest said, I as well just got used to Obi's giant teeth.

    50. Thanks, Lemon Balm Sprite!!! I had a few other faces to get modded and painted, so I sent them all at once and got lovely results on all of them!

    51. @El BJD WOW! What a great dental job on your Obi! He looks GREAT!
I hope I can do the same to mine!

    52. During Holiday clean up last year, I almost threw away a cheap ribbon from a wreath when I realized it didn't fray when cut! So I made a very quick, no-fuss dress for Realpuki, adding lace and ribbon as an experiment. The ball is from a corsage I repurposed.
This taught me to watch for items this season that RPs might use - especially shiny things!
Maybe you'll find something wonderful, too! :) Happy Holidays, friends!
