Nipper is so cute and the name is perfect.

 

What an adorable name...it fits him so perfectly. What a cutie he is!!

Great little house! What kind is it? My husband just built me a couple of wooden room boxes for mine and I'm excited to furnish and play with them.

 

The little house is a vintage Sylvanian families Meadowcroft Cottage. I am in the process of furnishing it.

 

Looking forward to seeing your progress with it. As I said before my husband built me two wooden room boxes for my Realpuki's and I'm in process of setting them up. I got the "outside" one pretty much done today. The inside one is going to take me a little longer as I'm having more trouble finding "furnishings" for it, and I want to build a loft in it as well.

What a fabulous find Pippin made! It looks so comfy and cozy, and it's sure to make the perfect abode for enterprising fairies. You're sure to have tons of fun with it.

Awww...Nipper looks so happy! How wonderful that he has a place to call home. It seems he's already invited some woodland friends over...that little turtle in a swing is adorable.

I do need to get my Roro some more clothes, is Fairyland still making shoes for this size?

Pippin & Nipper both have super cozy abodes.
I don't remember Fairyland offering shoes in RP size. Have you searched on etsy derilan85? I've found lots of great little shoes there...clothes too.

 

My Markaysa is wearing tiny slippers made by a good friend. Teddy's sweet elf shoes were made by a wonderful etsy seller. I don't think she is making them any more & I can't remember the shop name but if anyone is interested in contacting her I will be happy to look up the name of the shop.

I got a bunch of jelly shoes (for Kelly) on ebay a few years ago. They fit pukipuki too, of course.

 

All those shoes! Looks like they are having a wonderful time trying them on.

 

Oh they sure were!!! I cut the straps off all the black Mary Janes so the boys got nice shoes too.

 

Yay! The Aki love is spreading! A warning about the jelly Kelly shoes - the stiff ones are hard to get off, but the softer ones come off pretty easily. I've become dissatisfied with Kali's wig and am looking for a different one. Any suggestions?

 

Pippin's little cottage is finally furnished. He seems to be quite pleased with it, but he wants to know if his piggy can move in with him.

Hi! I am loving all these pics. I JUST ordered a soso direct from Fairyland. I got face up, no sleep face (I have one for my eve cat and it's usually stored) extra hands and boot feet. His impish little grin just won me over. He will be a forest elf, and live safely (from little fingers) in this great house shaped terrarium ikea has. I'm going to make him some forest type areas and maybe fairy garden. My friend has one and calls him soso but she mentioned the name "Giddy" and I think it fits him.

So a forest elf in a terrarium named Giddy. I hope time goes quickly. I'm in the U.S. any guesses on when he will arrive? So excited!

 

you could check the fairyland waiting room to get an idea of current wait times. soso is adorable. he is the first realpuki that stole my heart

I love, Love, LOVE the terrarium idea for a Realpuki house! That's a brilliant idea! I had to google the Ikea terrarium just to see. How adorable it will be and so perfect for your wee little Giddy...and what a wonderful name too. Reminds me of exuberant joy...how perfect for a Realpuki!

 

I ended up getting my hands on a mint in box soso elf! Even has COA. Fairyland had not processed my order so I cancelled my order and am expecting him Tuesday! I finished his little forest home and maybe I can make a video work. Oh and my daughter did eventually go to bed

 

@SydneyA I have an Ikea terrarium/ glasshouse I use for my LY and TD, you can see it here.

 

Adorable terrarium houses, @Xanadu Dolls and @SydneyA ! I don't have an Ikea near me, so I'm off to look online.

Xanadu Dolls, did you put a photo background on yours? I'm wondering how you got it to look like stone. It's a great look.

 

I googled the rock photos online then printed a few of them out, cut them to fit together neatly, glued them, then I painted them with a gloss finish. I did the same thing with the window and door. It's not the neatest project, but it was fun.

 

@Xanadu Dolls, this is the Ikea greenhouse. It has plastic in all windows but the front. I was originally going to get the terrarium but when I saw it it didn't fit what I had planned out. And I liked the front of this had almost a fence. I love your little house!

On a side note it was my first trip to Ikea. Yow. Took some getting used too. I have been thinking of a beach house and may go for the terrarium then.

 

Well I just put "Roro" on layaway. So in awhile I will have a girl too! Basic package with face up.

 

@SydneyA, wow! You got your terrarium house done very fast, and it's absolutely wonderful about finding a Soso on the market for immediate delivery. I'm thinking a finished fairy house was just too much temptation for the elves out there to resist, so one was bound to find his way home to you right away. And now a girl too! Roro is such a cute sculpt! Congratulations on ordering her!

@Xanadu Dolls, your terrarium house is amazing! I love the backdrops...it's an awesome idea to add richness and character to the setting. No self-respecting fairy or elf would be able to resist!

Hey everyone! I had a quick couple of questions if anyone knows. When was the last time the tan resin in the realpuki's was available? Does anyone have a wild guess as to when it would be available again?

Papilio was available in tan as well as the usual colors. He was the last Realpuki FairyLand released (around April 2016) , so I think we're about due for a new one soon.

 

Yes! My Papilioi is tan and he arrived in June of last year...

 

Thank you both! So I just need to be patient..yeah not so good at that LOL I do have Soso on order with Fairyland, just waiting for them to ship. We really shouldn't call this the BJD hobby, we should call it the WAITING hobby LOL

 

It was just available over Christmas. No idea when it will be available again.............

 

Hey everyone, look who got one of those cute little peapod beds off Etsy. And my little Morticia now has a finished wardrobe and special bedding I made for her (she insisted the plain white bedding that originally came with the bed just would not do! So I made her a full duvet set.) It's been a lot of hard work this month but I'm so happy with how she's finally turned out.

 

Oh PoeticSoul, I love your little Morticia. She is so pretty dressed in such happy colors, and her little bed is beautiful.

Hello does anyone know of you, where I can make a faceup for my realpukis? I have seen shell on flickr and love their faceup but I can not reach them, is she perhaps also here in the forum, so would gladly make for my Realpukis new faceup, can someone help me, I come from Germany

Thanks, Mrs A! I do post Ashton (Pupu) most often, but need to do a group photo soon, since we're "expecting" a few more RPs to arrive around the beginning of March. I'm keeping busy, making them some homecoming clothes. In the meantime, here's a photo from this summer, in their fairy garden.
