Agreed. I was so hoping for a Pukisha. I sold mine years ago and I’ve always had so many regrets.

 

I’m surprised that Flora is included. I love that sculpt and have her as a Pukifee but she never seemed incredibly popular. I’m not sure if I want to order a Flora or a blank Pong Pong now! I’ve had Pong Pong twice before and sold them both but figured out that I don’t like the default face up very much.

 

Sad there isn’t a Pukisha. Oh well, I really am happy for all of you who are getting one of the Pukipukis. I love my Pong!

 

Oh I hoped they would do the purple resin again. Oh well

 

I’m a bit disappointed with the choices but relieved as well. I need a break from waiting for preorders. I was hoping for Darleeling or Pipi. I’ll just have to spoil Ruby

 

I’m happy about Pongpong! @Shojo-Chan Thank you for reminding me about the face up. I like most of it but usually don’t like the eyebrows which can be hidden by the bangs, but now I might save some money and paint her myself! And I’ve been looking at pictures on Flickr and the tan Pongpong is really cute! Also, I’ve been looking at the pictures in the FL doll archives and Rory is adorable!

 

Tan PongPong is definitely very cute. I'm tempted by Cupid, but I'd rather have him in PukiFee size.

Thanks very much for this. I didn’t even realise there were FLD manuals and I’ve got quite a few of their dolls now.

 

Out of interest @NineOneThree did you find manuals for any other sizes?

 

No, I couldn’t find any others even after searching their site. If you need help with a specific one you could search on this forum and then post in the thread for that doll if the search doesn’t bring up the information you need. You could also maybe contact Fairyland and see if they can send you a digital copy. My Fairyland dolls all came with one but I only have Littlefee, Pukifee, and Pukipuki.

 

@Dollquest the eyebrows are what bother me on Pong Pong too!

 

Thanks very much for your suggestion. I’ve got 2 LittleFees, 2 RealFees and a Pukifee, all from Fairyland themselves but didn’t get any manuals. At least I don’t think so. Must go and look in their boxes again!

 

I've just ordered Flora #4 (I still own two of the three I've owned!). I don't know what it is about Flora, I love her so much. I think there was... maybe 30 minutes between finding out this morning Pukis were re-released and my order going in! I also have a Kanu and a Nico.

 

Snagged a tan Ante, one of the ones I love and didn't have yet! I am thrilled!

I've been going back and forth about Ante. I have a PKF Ante, and I do love her... I'm not sure whether it would be a good idea holding out for other faces in the future (Pukisha, and maybe even ChChi).

Murphy's Law tells me that if I blow my doll money on Ante now, they *will* of course have a second release later this year, but if I don't, I probably lost my chance of getting a new Puki at all...

 

Yeah, that's why I pulled the trigger so quick on the Flora. All of the pukis I've gotten have been second hand so far and I always wanted to buy one new. I'm also debating on getting Rory--then I'd have all three of the last puki releases! XD But I think my Fiance will kill me if I do.

 

I'm debating between Flora or PongPong in BW, or Flora in BW and PongPong in blue.

 

I broke down and got a tan Ante for several reasons, Ruby needs a friend who is the same size. I have the sculpt in Pukifee and Littlefee, how could I pass it up? Also March Fairyland preorders usually arrive just in time for my birthday!

Oh, @spih your little tan PongPong may make me cave on him too!! I knew I wanted to get Ante, but Pong is pretty darn cute in tan!

 

I'm so excited, I placed my pre-order through Denver Doll! I was going to get an Ante, but then I saw someone's Cupid, and ordered Cupid instead, in BW. I have never been able to get my hands on one of these little beauties and I'm still in shock that I did it. Squeeee!

 

I pre-ordered a tan Ante through DDE! She’ll be a great friend to my PukiPuki Madeline and Pukisha.

Spent my dolly time today making a wig cap to give my future Tan Ante a custom wig! I also overdyed the blonde wig my Cupid, Tilly, has because she needs her red hair! we shall see if the red comes out or ends up more strawberry blonde.

 

If it helps, I would be utterly shocked if they did another release this year. This is the first time they've been available since... at least 2020? If not longer. So I wouldn't hold my breath on that one...

 

Yay pukipuki! I have a pong pong, lily, cupid3, and Niko in my collection already. I was sort of hoping for a sugar, but alas, no sugar. Maybe I need one of the other sculpts .. I've never considered a Flora or cupid ....

 

Welp. I've ordered a tan skin Pong Pong. Because it's not as if I have other expenses to cover (sarcasm).

I hope it arrives in the summer so I have time to paint it.

Thank you, she's been pouty ever since Pam sold her big 'ol boyfriend Typhon, who was a 70cm fella. One negative of being part of Troop Tiny is a lack of larger denziens.

I also just purchased a Rory, she'll be the first Puki since Amy arrived over 15 years ago.

 

Probably the wrong thread to asking since we have all bee waiting f o r e v e r for pukis to drop, but does anyone have an idea of how long FL takes between preorder and shipping? I haven't ordered a new doll from a large dealer in a very long time.

 

Well, I decided to take the plunge and order an Ante in elf grey. Now let's just wait and see whether that helped and they will now add faces and colours to make me miserable again. LOL!!

All this thinking about Pukis made me want to get my trio out of their winter clothes and enjoy the spring sunshine today. So
Truffle, Jasmine and Cookie went out to play- but Cookie was playing hide-and-seek and decided to come out blurry in all the pictures.

Here are Jasmine and Truffle showing off their new(ish) outfits for the spring, though:



(Jasmine is a Darjeeling, and Truffle is of course a Cochon. Cookie is a Pukisha, but like I said, he was being tricksy this morning!)

I decided that both Cookie and Truffle need their regular hands - I am a bit tired of the bulky front hooves and paws. (Love the feet and the ears, though - even though Truffles ears are somewhat hidden by her curls in this wig...)

 

I ordered a Pukifee ante in tan with faceup and sp plate with faceup last March and it took 5 months through Denver Doll. I just expect a 6 month wait and it’s nice if it is quicker.

 

My orders have all been through DDE since the FL website change. PKF Kaka was my last one in 2022, I ordered her June 22 and received her October 29, so just over 4 months. For the most part, my wait time has generally been around 4-5 months

 

I have gotten budget go ahead to order one of these darlings, and I am wondering if I should get Rory or Cupid. Anyone have a particularly great face up to show me how amazing they could be or should I go for the company faceup?

 

I suggest going to Flickr and searching pukipuki Rory and pukipuki Cupid. There are some gorgeous pukipuki Rorys there but they are not mine to share so I can’t. ( If you haven’t joined Flickr yet, there are free memberships). Congratulations on your approval! I’m going on the “beg for forgiveness later” concept

 

Hey, has anyone tried one of those miniature room kits for pukipukis? I am wanting to put together some furniture and rooms for them, and I was wondering if they are a good fit.

 

I made a 1/24 scale one and it was too small for a 10cm doll so it will definitely be too small for puki. You probably want 1/12 scale.

 

Aww shucks, I was hoping. Some of those are so cute!

 

They are really cute but not very practical anyway. However, it did give me some ideas on how to make my own props when I do eventually work on a doll house or room box for my pukis.

 

I decided on Cupid. Hopefully I will decide about the faceup soon.

 

I caved in and purchased a dolls house from Argos for mine. Not that I’ve put it together yet, or even bought any furniture/props for it. The tiddlywinks are not due for quite a while but it is good to know what size things to look for.

 

I’ve been looking at doll houses and trying to decide if I want a realistic look or a toy look. I don’t know if I want them to seem in their own world or tiny beings living in a human size world if that makes sense.

 

The cabinet I got for my dolls is a little impractical for the big ones, but I can see one of the cubicles making a lovely home for a puki! I need to search for some diorama ideas. I actually have some of the dollhouse furniture I had for my former pukisha, too.

 

Cube storage is a good size for them. I use scrapbook paper for backgrounds when I take photos so I have a good supply of “flooring and wallpaper.”

 

I have no display/storage for any of my dolls at the moment, but one of the ways I want to do it is Doll house/doll room set ups, especially for the 18 inch dolls I have. Don't think the Lusion or my sd13 will get rooms of their own, though! But the pukis? I need me a coffee shop, a bakery, a tea house... hahaha, I'm going to be so broke when I have space.

 

My daughter has a Lori Doll Cafe but it fits 15-17cm dolls, the pukis would look like toddlers in it. I want a little greenhouse/flower shop scene but first a bedroom or playroom.

Just be careful what you’re looking at to buy, sometimes the scale will be off, look for actual measurements and what size doll fits the items. Then you have to decide if you want your doll to look like a child or adult in the space or using the props. Luckily I have a daughter with all kinds of dolls so if I buy something that doesn’t work it will most likely work for one of hers.

 

I ordered my PongPong! I’m excited to have one with a non-Fairyland face up. I’m excited about the sleeping faceplate too! I think sleeping PongPong is possibly even cuter than the awake version.

 

I never thought about sleeping PongPong, what a cute expression!

 

I saw this little one on the marketplace right before the Pukipukis were rereleased. I just couldn't get them out of my head. The face-up was so unique. Painted by our @Fairy Milliner I believe. So, now they are home with us! I am so glad I got them! The face-up is even more amazing in real life! Check out the spoilers below.
