I found my little monsters a bench from JoAnn's today. It was 50% off so like $2. I thought I could take the spider off but it's part of the design. Oh well, may alter it so it's not so ... pink... lol

i have wanted a Rose for a while and was about to give up when sweet Lady Crow sent me this precious girl in a trade. I love this hair on her but I want hazel eyes for her. I have some and they look great but they are too small.

 

I'm so far behind. My life has been a series of deadlines. But Pooki demanded I duck in to join the call for WS pix:

Hi everyone! It's been a very very long time since I've been in here.

I was wondering if anyone had good recommendations for 6mm eyes with low domes, preferably glass? I lost all my bookmarks and can't seem to find half my resources. I know of Captured in Glass and Dreaming tree. Are there any other places?

Wish I knew of some other places to tell you SmotyMote. I always struggle to find good eyes in this size. Most of mine are from captured in glass (which you already mentioned), some are from DD Anne and the rest are from the evilbay.
I am trying to figure out Rose's look, but I believe I figured out a new wig for Miku (ante). Miku used to have a salmon pink wig, but when I got a "new" Miku from Fairyland to get her sleepy face it turned out that they are blushing the cheeks a LOT now. Not bad by any means, but that was too much pink for me! So she now has a new wig. I just need to style it a bit!

There's Ginarolo on the MP here and Terri's Tiny Treasures online sells 6mm eyes. That where I got Grace's green eyes from.

I don't know if you all saw, but supposedly, there's a new minifee being released.

Is it too optimistic of me to think that maybe they'll release a new puki too?

 

I was just coming to post that. I'd even love a new faceup/full set

 

I hope with that release, comes a few tinies or new makeups or outfit, I'm very nervous!

 

Fingers crossed. I've been wanting a new puki but none of the current ones really jump at me besides the ones I already own... and I'm not a "multiple of the same sculpt" type person.

Personally I'm a bit relieved that there aren't any pukis this round, as I just spent all my doll money. I'm with Bluemoonjules in hoping for next event!

 

I would hardly say PukiPuki are "neglected"... just because they haven't seen as many releases recently as the larger sizes doesn't necessarily mean they're any less popular! If you compare by sculpt availability, PukiPuki has 21 sculpts to choose from in basic, LittleFee have about as many (not counting variations such as gender/elf ears on the same face), and the only one with more is MiniFee at 33. Also, I believe PukiPuki has been the only size to have had more than two sculpts released at a time in the last three years or so... there was that one winter event where they released three new sculpts and released a new fullset for an older sculpt. Most releases from FairyLand these days are in pairs. There's also the fact that PukiPuki had their turn in the tan event... so I wouldn't say that PukiPuki are neglected at all!

 

I hope you have all the reason designedforsmiles because I want a new pukipuki sculpts on the next event and I'm waiting a little deer.

Well, iCoco: They did release Puki Kanu as a fullset with antlers a few years ago (It's still available, BTW!), but a Deer Face Plate would be really cool – and don't forget little Hoof feet

I hate to say it, but Dollzone's little Deer Twins (Girl with ears, Boy with horns) were on a level of squee-adorableness that is usually only achieved by Fairyland releases. Unfortunately, the hoof-parts were permanent. If Fairyland made a Deer fullset (or Pukisha/Transformation set) everything would be interchangeable!

Design Idea: If Fairyland sculpted ears as part of the face-plate, there would be plenty of room for antlers in their usual spot on the head. That would even make sense as a Christmas/Holiday event, because Reindeer of both sexes have horns!

 

I have Kanu, and the antlers.

Trivia note....only female reindeer have antlers at Christmas...

 

Of course, it would be the females that have what they need for the holidays!

regarding Pukis not being included in the event, there are still several I would like to have that are available anyway. And I have a couple of tans but honestly I don't like the color that much. I prefer the normal skin tone. So there is nothing to stop me from spending money on more dolls. Well, except lack of money

 

Gaw I can't agree with the dollzone statement more. I owned both at one point (only sold because of emergency money reasons) and OMG... they were my favorite dolls ever I think. T_T


Anyway... yes, Fairyland... do that! It'd be so cute! You COULD use the conchon feet as hooves maybe? Not sure the difference between pig hooves and deer hooves though.

 

Yeah! I approve your ideas GoodbyeKitty173 because all the parts would be interchangeable! I hate when I want a puki with the costume or parts of another one.
I hope some day they will make a pukipuki Zio...

 

With the full set kanu, can you only order it in white skin?
