Gah I love that face!

 

For sure! I'll try and get some photos of them today after work, since the weather is faring rather nicely. Haha, my camera is such a pain, it takes the *cruddiest* pictures inside, so I have to do all of my photography outside when it's sunny x.x

 

Oh, the almighty cuteness of them. I adore that skully fabric, spampy! and noPuki does it tougher than your l'il devil, Trekkiegrrrl

That's so freaking adorable! I couldn't even comment on the wee socks...they turned me into a gibbering mess!

I realised that I've never really shown my tiny Snape... Partially because I'm still working on his little room, but... well.. with the right cropping, you can fake a lot

 

Chibi!Snape is so cool, his little "room" totally rocks!

 

Aww~! He looks so disgruntled and 'what are you doing in my room?/get out!' XD Such a little cutie he is (oh I bet he *hates* hearing that, doesn't he?)

Potion masters, lil devils and fauns, skulls and bunnies, nothing like a puki with some edge thrown in.

 

I just got my first - a Lily - and I'm a little scared of damaging her, too. She's sturdier, though, than my Hujoo and my Jun Planning Ai, and I'm getting more comfortable with her every day. I need to look at more owner pics to see all the crazy positions I can attempt with her.

I can't get over how tiny she is!

 

Glad I got out outside to take these before it started raining again! Here are my modified cochon hooves that Cillian is wearing. These just have the 'sock' ruffle sanded and cut down, and a notch (actually, it's a little wider than a notch XD) in the back so that he can tip his toes.

I'm thinking about maybe getting a Puki. I'm not sure which one I want though...I think I want either Pipi or Pukisha.

 

Ahhh very cool. So in essence they are lower in the back, sanded at an angle. What did you use to do it? By hand or a gadget?

 

Hmm well you see that is a moot question. I guess you should ask which should you start with because once you get one others tend to follow. My first one was a pukisha, the Hawra set to be exact. I have another on order and he's a piki. ANd if they demand another down the road well.............

 

I just did them by hand. :3 X-acto knife and sandpaper. I'd do them with a dremel if I had one, but I don't. I'm really handy with a blade and sandpaper, though, so, this was just fine for me.

Cool. I wasn't sure what to use to *cut* into resin, and sanding them seemed like a rather tedious task.

I guess I should get the ruffles on Onikami's hooves removed as well, they doesn't exactly suit his character. And now I know HOW!

The angle/notch is a great idea. I hadn't thought of any missing posability, but then Onikami has mainly been standing so far. As long as they won't get too wobbly, added posability is a Good Thing™

I have a white skinned lily on on order and im about 2 weeks of wating in and was starting to get a bit jumpy. I have already bought some kelly clothes, shoes and accessories, bought a wig and crocheted her a dress she is going to be sucha a spoiled little brat.

I think what really made me panic was that i mentioned to one of the girls at work i had ordered a new expensive dolly and she asked if i could bring it in. Suddenly i realized that i didnt even know how to handle my puki and i was terrified of having her near anyone else!

 

Then haven't been wobbly at all for Cillian, so there's no worry about that. :3

It *is* a little tedious to do, though- took me about an hour a piece. It's basically just taking little bits off at a time. But it's *well* worth it for the look and not having to wory about the sock-ruffle getting in the way of pants or looking silly on you or anything!

(By the way, I absolutely *adore* little Onikami! So much sass and attitude in such a little package!)

It looks like these adorable maids got a little overlooked in the rush The dangers of posting pics in the middle of some people discussing something (happens to me all the time *sobs*)

They're LOVELY! I'm in love with Mary's glasses. Not that I can see any of my own pukis with glasses, but they look so cool anyway!

I've brought my Cupid, Aisho, to work several times. Most of the time she just lies in my bag. If you've ordered a fullset, you get a neat little checkered "sleeping bag" with the doll, it's great for transporting her around in. What I did was I got a.. OMG what are those called? Thingie.. carrying box.. whatever... for sunglasses/spectacles - you can get those in all sorts of shapes, and a Puki will generally fit inside (depending on shape and padding of course) - the good thing is it's sturdy AND anonymous. No one would suspect you to carry a doll around - if there are people who would use that as a teasing subject (or people who have trouble distinguishing "mine" from "yours")

Aww she is so CUTE! And I love the blushing of the ears and paws!

 

They look wonderful! Thank you for sharing them with us. I too have several sets of hooves coming for my Ki-Rin, Satyr, and Deer so it’s really great to see that someone was able to mod the successfully! Good job! :

I absolutely adore koi fish puki Memo I love the fact that you used the Pipi mold for this mod, I think the Pipi face suits the koi characters pefectly!

 

Color me impressed! Such detailing on the scales. Perfect choice of media for the shorts.

miki-chan, the koi fish is beautiful! we wanted to use all black eyes to make a fairy. Have you thought of sculpting fins for the feet and hands?

Medoria your puki is wonderful! Don't worry, you can make it! If you are unsure I think you can buy a puki plate for like 30$ n the marketplace, and use it as a raw. The room with the wooden furniture is so cute!


I have a small photo too. I'm painting boots and I wanted to get a photo... So if I broke them hile I'm painting I can say "I had them" lol

 

Yes I made the brick wall background myself. That's one of the benefits of my 3D background - I'm used to texturing things and I have a lot of texture resources - including wooden floors. Check out this site for textures: http://www.lemog.fr/lemog_textures/index.php - they're all seamless tiles meaning you can use the texture flood fill in either Photoshop or PSP (or, I guess, GIMP) to fill a sheet of paper. And then, it's just a question of printing out enough to cover whatever youwant to cover
