Fairyland Pukipuki discussion part 2

Well... I just made it through all 96 pages of Puki-enabling squee-ness. XD I absolutely MUST have one.
The thing that kills me though, is that I have the money, I just really shouldn't use it for a Puki. But I'm SO tempted. I've never seen such well-engineered tinies. I just wish Fairyland offered more wigs and eyes for sale on their site so I wouldn't have to pay more shipping for stuff from other sites. :/

Maybe I can find a way to earn some extra money that I can put towards a Puki without touching my savings.

 

OK... guess who got to try on Pipi's lace dress first???? Piki just had to have it. I have no names yet for these new ones!!

Pretty eyes too, are they both blue? Hard to tell.

They both have the same eye color which looks like greyish tones. So, I definitely will be getting another color for Piki's faceplate. Probably will be lilac or deep amethyst color. I really grew fond of Amy's amethyst color eyes!

 

Such cuteness! I only have to wait...Just a little longer...I'm made eyelet booty shorts for when my boy gets here, although they're not his style.

My Piki will be called ... wait .... for... it..... 'drum roll' thruppp, thruppp thruppp BUBBLE! One day there may be a Squeak. Bubble and Squeak!

Spampy that photo is priceless. I've seen drums here, but the price was about $100!!! Youch! I must say, they were excellent quality and very much in keeping with your guitar. That is just perfect.

th1 Squeee congrats on your new cuties. I'm so excited for you. They're both so adorable but it looks like your Pipi is a bit neglected compared to your Piki.

PsychoticElflet5 - yes, Lady Brick and I didn't get faceups that we'd paid for, but Fairyland is replacing them, hurrah. However, this means more waiting, boo!

Edit: And by the way... the thought of a head smaller than my Lati girl's is... wow! O.o; Aren't they easilly broken or anything?

 

Yep Shelly/Kelly clothes fit! The skirts can be a tight fit, as well as the pants, but if you happen to find a dress, they fit wonderfully! As do the Bratz Kidz clothes. I have a Bratz Kidz shirts that fits wonderfully as a dress ^_^

I think I read somewhere that Piki can wear 10mm, but 8mm eyes are suggested.

Wig size 4 ^_^ Mimiwoo on e-bay has a lot of cute ones in the size, as does J pop wigs ^_^

And I've found that my Sugar is QUITE sturdy! I had her standing up on my kitchen counter, and she toppled over. Not a scratch or knick on her!

 

pukis are tough! i dropped mine a few times already.. *cries* (not in to soy sauce though)

 

I will be adding a pose able tail to mine as soon as she gets here. ;D
Of course, it will be removable like the tails I've made for my other dollies. *nod*

 

I'm getting so excited for my Piki, bugt i'm onn day....5 i think, i have awhile XD and th1, that picture is so adorable!

 

There is a Tommy/Kelly tuxedo set on Ebay right now--do a search for Kelly. Can't you just see a little boy Puki in a TUX??!!!!

ahh my little one came this morning! It was quite a surprise when I got out of class when her wig arrives I shall take pictures. She is sooooo cute! However, the metal plate they come with does anyone know why its the shape it is?

Kazzii this thread moved so fast that I didn't get a chance to answer you. My Bubble is a Piki and Squeak is a Sugar winking face for the same body, but that won't be here for quite a while yet.

I adore those photos of the Pukis in their new homes and outfits! Julie, your chap has a wonderful friend in that camel. I love it!

Spampy, did you make that outfit? It's fab. I wonder if he can nudge mine home more quickly? *giggle*

Wow, new thread. *Rubs sleeve against the shiny thread* Well anyway, so I was playing with my friend's vampire Orientdoll the other day, and I dunno if I can handle posing something so tiny. ^^;;; They're adorable, I want one, but what if I get him and realize that he's too small for me to handle! T_T

So quick question for already-owners: I know the Pukis can pose amazingly on their little metal plates, but how do they pose OFF of them? I've seen lots of incredible poses, but then I realized that they're all done on their metal plates. Can anyone show me what they can do off of them?

 

actually they CAN stand with out it..
jellybean has done multiple one handed-handstands without it too.
infact i think i have lost my metal plate. i need to search for it.
plus, they are really tough little things. i have dropped jellybean a few times(accidentally!! and not in to soy sauce)and she is still fine.

I thought there was like a new verion of the puki's out (like the ones that Fairyland has been talking about that they are sculptin). I was already feeling the incredable pain in my wallet. Fhew...

On the note of posability they are extreemly posable on or off the plates. I wasnt to keen on my plates to be honest so I rarely use them, unless I leave them standing overnight or something. I have found no other tiny like it, no other bigger doll for that matter either. (Although the kid dollmore standing like a rock cababilities come into a close second for awesome stability.)

 

It seems to me that they put the Christmas set orders ahead of the "regular" orders---because I clearly remembering us ordering at the same time, and they tell me mine won't be shipped until the end of Jan.

BUT--I don't even care!!! Because as we speak the Pipi set I bought on Ebay is winging her way to me, and she will either be here tomorrow or Monday!! So today I am working on her dress.
