    1. Ante -custom faceup
      [IMG]

    2. Gill Your Ante's faceup is fantastic! I love the eyes. She looks very mature here, which I didn't think an Ante could do. Great job!

    3. I just found an Ebay seller that has tiny stuffed animals that would be perfect for Pukis. :D

Is it okay if I post the link?

    4. Ooooh I hope it is! I would lurrrrve teeny tiny stuffies!!

    5. [IMG]

Just finished working on Arlanna for the night. Thought ya'll might be interested in seeing. She will be my unicorn deer anthro so I've a few more things to do. She did have eyes but the eye putty dde sent me melted them! T-T they were such a lonely purple too. I'm going to email them about it. :(

    6. I heard Ante spam!
Ishtar has been in a very chipper mood lately! Must be her new toys! XD

Call Me Stephanie that paint is adorable! :D She's coming along so nicely! I can't wait to see her finished! I'm sorry to hear about those eyes though, what a bummer. :(

    7. Call Me Stephanie, she's gorgeous! Great job on the paint.

    8. Oooh! Much Puki goodness - I'd love to see the lttle deer unicorn when finished, and who could resist gorgeous little Ante's.

My Puki's have been spoiled lately with new clothes from CarlaBenham.

This is just one of the three new outfits Flora got, Alex got the fab T-shirt with busses on it to wear with his favourite Spampy shorts, and Eduardo is finally out of camo and into this great T-shirt and trousers from Carla:

    9. I made new pants for Pong, I am so proud of my self :D

    10. Awwww....

      Well done.

      Teddy

    11. Whoa! How does eye putty melt eyes? Sounds like a horror movie  Seriously though, that's awful.

    12. Maybe instead of Eye Putty, them gave Polymer Clay. PC melts acrylic and others hard plastics, so I use Blu-tack putty in white because it doesn't damage the eyes. I've seen here in other posts some eyes melted by PC.

    13. Oh my goodness! that's just awful. I use Mack's Silicon Ear Plugs. They are inexpensive and the silicon doesn't affect the eyes or resin. I'm so sorry about your eyes melting. :( Were they Fairyland eyes?

    14. Adorable! She does look more mature!

Aw! A puki fawn! So cute Stephanie!! Hope the eyes will be replaced!

Ante looks so cute in green eyes!

I am glad to have one of her outfits now! That is a sweet bunch of pukis you have there. <3
Cool! So many talented people here! I have tried to sew this small, and definitely find it difficult.

One more bit of spam. This picture just kills me with cute! :)

Miku ran off with Melfina's hat and ran back to the camera with kitty paws.

    15. Yes They were her original fl eyes :( I'm waiting for a response from dde.

    16. Random driveby spam from a rainy day:

      Incoming spam!

      ...I'd be nervous too!

    18. Just wanted to pop by and say I'm lovin all the pics! And figured I'd post one of Misty.

    19. annetta: That is wonderful mermaid pic!

I love the outfits on your two girls. :)

Your little Peas is so sweet looking. I love how you are posing her to look away from the camear.

      Great job!

She's going to turn out wonderful. I can tell. I can't wait to see the finished product.

That black dress suits Ishtar so well. Maybe because it coordinates with her jet black wig. :)

Those outfits are awesome. Love them!

Congratulations on a job well done!

    20. I went outside for a little bit while the weather is warm, so I took Silvermist with me to take some pictures.

Its the same dress from earlier, I just figured this was a more appropriate setting. :b Funny part is she was ment to be a water fairy, but that never happened...

    21. Oh no, thats awful! I hope they are good and sort it for you quick! For all my girls I use kneadable art eraser to hold their eyes in (And on my SD for holding her wig and eyelashes too). I got it when I did an art course for a while, I can't remember what brand, but it does wonders. But I hope you get it sorted soon!

    22. Well, I got a reply from DDE. Pretty much they said this has never happened before but the eyes were meant to come apart so they technically aren't damaged... though they DO have sticky stuff all over them.. If it were hot or very humid I could understand but it wasn't recently! It has been lovely out... and even so, they shouldn't use stuff if it's affected so easily. So anyway, they offered to refund me the $1.50 for the eye putty but I didn't take it. It's not DDE's fault the putty is junk... I just told them to tell Leekeworld so they don't have anymore angry customers on their hands.

Here's a picture of what happened:
      http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hpho...50178287083169_649888168_8244666_189632_n.jpg
As you can see the putty is sticking every where and I had to like scrap it off my hands... I don't know how I'll get it off the eyes without damaging them.

Anyway, take this as a warning I suppose. I looked for sticky tack and those silicone ear plugs today but couldn't find any. I'll have to borrow some putty from inside my MSD's head haha

    23. Got her some eyes in. They are a bit unstraight but they'll have to do for now. They are a bit too tiny to fit in her eye wells so... they can't be aligned right x-x

    24. Awww, they don't look so bad! Maybe if you positioned them so that she's looking to the side?

    25. Congrats on your Bisou! Your girls look very cute together, although I especially love the expression of your multihead ante. Might I ask though, why is everybody in their birthday suit? :lol Bisou is just arrived of course, but surely everyone else has been outfitted?

    26. in regards to that putty, I'd say that it's sculpy which has been known to melt acrylic eyes. there's a whole thread about it somewhere here on DoA, it's titled something like "Eye Putty : the good, the bad, and the ugly" if I'm remembering right.
there's something in sculpy that's bad for acrylic eyes, it's fine for resin though so as long as you're using glass eyes or the like then it's okay to use.
personally I always use poster tak for eyes.

I think Arlanna's new eyes look just fine as far as size.
eyes that tiny are super hard to position, that's why Avery's new ones are a little wonky still.

    27. Eleanor: Oh I know. I knew better than to use sculpey because these were soft plastic eyes... that's why I bought eye putty. I can never find poster tak so I just added it to the Ante order. That's why I assumed it wasn't something bad and it'd be fine on my eyes. Grr on them.

Lord are they tiny! They are like smaller than split peas! I can't imagine how small 4mm will be for another doll I'm getting them for. Man oh man.

    28. You know, I bought some eye putty from DDE too. I threw it all away though because it left a ridiculous amount of residue on my hands, my dolls' heads, and the eyes themselves every time I wanted a change. I thought when ordering eye putty I would be getting something like the sticky tac stuff fairyland using in the pukis and their other dolls, but it wasn't.

I guess I should consider myself lucky the putty never had a chance to damage any of my eyes!

    29. Today, I decided to finally change my puki's eye putty to the silicone earplugs. It took probably 45 minutes, since it was the first time taking her eye,but I got them.

    30. Prettybird My girls are somewhat lacking in clothes. They have a few dresses I crochet for them but they need a better variety.

I figured hair would have to do since I was just taking some quick shots this evening.

    31. Crochet dresses are cool! I can't crochet anything but a straight up and down shape. :lol Crochet patterns just confuse me. Same with knitting. I am pretty creative with what I can make from crochet though... so far I've done earmuffs, a scarf, and a muff, all in puki size.

Pukis are so well made I think they look super cute nakie too. You can see their body line a lot better that way and really appreciate their balance. :)

    32. Heehee, I had to share this picture from my latest photostory...
It's so cute seeing them work together.

    33. Say Hello to Penny.

Some of you regulars may recognize her as Sher's Penelope. But she's been kidnapped! And I've given her a new wig, to disguise her. ;)

A few weeks ago, I had lunch with Sher. (YES, we live very near each other!) While she wasn't looking, Penny accidentally on purpose, ended up in my totebag. (Just kidding.) Sher was kind enough to sell her to me.

I never thought I'd like this size, but she's fabulous. My Pukifees aren't quite sure about her, but the Littlefees adore her, and want to hold her all the time. :doh

    34. Congratulations! I think the new wig looks great. :)

    35. Go into a store like Target and ask them for white sticky-tac/poster tack. It's the best thing for eye putty I have ever used. Companies often package polymer clay as putty and sell it, but it's so bad for eyes and resin. White sticky tac doesn't leave gunk and doesnt melt, and best of all, you can get a big ol' pack of it for cheap.

    36. Over in the UK today is Comic Relief/Red nose Day. It's a fundraising event which helps Africa with poverty and much much more and in the UK with mental health, domestic violence and much more. Part of this is the red noses and each time Comic Relief comes around there are different noses. This year was Honkus Chucklechomp and this lil guy that Cal made friends with!
      Cal meets CAPTAIN CONK!

    37. ^^ Now that's funny!

Welcome to all the new Pukis...bought and...um...kidnapped!

    38. I was at Walmart and checked in their stationary section. They must have been out. I looked for the ear plugs in sporting goods but didn't see any. I'll have to check at another store next time.

That's irritating that they package polymer clay as putty... especially when it's FROM a doll company... they should know better. -_-

    39. So cute. I love that name, Penny. My daughter's middle name is Penny. :)

    40. Awww, Captian Conk is awesome! I love that fullset, the cupid roar face is just amazing.

    41. Penny is a good name, it always reminds me of the little girl from the first Rescuers movie. :) She had the cutest pigtails and teddy bear...

I took this pic yesterday but forgot to post it here...

    42. Awww, surrounded by teddy love. :)

    43. Tiny teddies are so amazing, I want to have one for each of my girls.

    44. Check in the health and beauty section. The ear plugs are generally there. I have bought them at Wal-mart and Walgreens....I have seen them at CVS too. They are great! (admittedly, I bought the generic kind but they are the same)

    45. It fits her. And she has the teddy bears, she just needs the pigtails!

Tabloach: Thank you! Penny's is a sweet name for sure.

    46. prettybird: Aww thankies, I do wubs my Cal XD
You're teddy collection is so cute for your girl and she looks adorable in that outfit! :D

    47. [IMG]
Avery got to hang out with her buddy Fizzy today >3<

    48. My little Clover has been away for the last few weeks.... she got a job "modelling" for wovenflame's etsy shop. I really missed her and I'm so happy to have her back home with me.

Clover was happy to take her payment in clothing. She got this super-cute little dress as a thank you for all her hard work. Because, hey, it really is hard work looking cute all the time. ;)

    49. Thank you! I really love the tiny jointed teddies, they add so much realism to my photos. :)

    50. Prettybird, I LOVE that jacket and hat. She looks so adorable. I can't imagine sewing something so elaborate for a doll that is so tiny!

SuviFay: Comic Relief/Red Nose Day.....now there is a holiday that sounds fun to celebrate! I think Canada should adopt it.

You're sure they're friends EleanorAnne? It looks like he's hauling home the "catch of the day".

What a great picture kristo. Is Clover a country singer as well as a model? She looks right at home sitting on the guitar in her country gingham dress.

    51. LONG TIME NO TALK.

      Oh man, life is crazy.

      Pep is crazy too.

I hope everyone is doing well and I send my love! Stay safe!

    52. MissCarrion When you said you used the kneaded art eraser for eyes, did you mean the grey kind, or is there a clear one/ Thanks....

I have been MIA for awhile, but having fun catching up on everybody's cute kids. My little Ruby is happy to be back, too.

kristo Clover is adorable....ready for Spring. I can see why you missed her !

    54. I've been dying to take pictures of my dolls after seeing everyone's adorable photos, but my camera broke. I guess I'll have to settle with sharing a "new" old picture I found stuffed away in my computer files. <3

      Edit:
I also posted this in the pukifee thread, but since it involves both sizes I thought I should post it here too.

Does anyone know what scale would work well with both Pukifee and pukipuki for pictures? I'm looking at buying them a kitchen, but I'm lost as to how they will look standing in it. I would like my Pukifee to be able to reach everything rather well and my pukipuki would be okay if she'd need a stool to reach the back counter. Any advise?

    55. Julienne: That hat on Rose is cuter than the one you had on her at the meetup. And I love that wig. Tell me about it, please?

PS: This is Monica - the knitter. :)

    56. Hi, Monica....I forget where I got the wig, but will put on my thinking cap and hopefully let you know. Glad you like the little hat.

    57. Can I have some cute puki spam? I was stuck at work for 8 hours until 3am this morning because no one wanted to come in to take their shifts. At least I got paid for it though.

Since I have to work again an hour and a half, the pukis are stowing away to work with me for a few hours. Hopefully they'll have some fun wandering around the desk while I answer questions that people should already know the answer to.

    58. That is a darling dress!

      Love the hat! Super cute!

Sigh! I love those duckies. I'm going to have to hunt them down at my Barnes and Nobles.
