Fairyland Pukifee discussion part 28

ROFL! Wait 'til they start ganging up on you!! I finally stopped listening to them when my PF's totalled 17.

 

The Fairyland Puki Fee Pupu head with a pre-loved body in natural skin (resin) from Den of Angels, was completed 24th September, 2015 and she's still waiting for a face up. (Naughty muma!)

 

Oh my goodness, Xanadu Dolls! What sculpts did you have? And do you have a group photo of all 16?

 

My Puki Fees in order of arrival:
Ante, Tan Vanilla, Zio, Bonnie #1, Cony & Dony, Bonnie #2, Pio, Luna, Tan Icis, Soso, Pupu, Bonnie #3, Tan Cupid, Zoe, White Tika & Tan Rin
This is just one group shot I found, but I will take another photo with them all and post later.

They are all so cute! It's really cool to see so many of the different sculpts in one picture. I'll admit, my wish list just grew a little bit.

 

Just when I thought I had them all in hand, I missed this little fella. Jude was in keeping an eye on my mischievous Real Pukis. Bringing my total to EIGHTEEN Puki Fees, and because I have this thing about always having ODD NUMBERS of dolls, I'll have to bring home another wee one! Oh my!!

I found a little fairy in my Strawberry patch! It was hard to pick which picture to post - Rose Petal is a dream to take picture of.

Oh she is gorgeous PepperonoPizza and that photo of all XanaduDolls gang just blows me away. I seriously need more Pukifees.

 

@EmanonUK - thank you! And yes, you do need more Pukifees! We all need our own little armies of them.

 

She looks SO sweet - even without facepaint - love the photo - *love* the darling dress!!

Thank you! But I don't think it's fair on her, I mean how would we like to go around all day without our makeup?? Ah, the dress was made my me in a moment of sewing frenzy.

 

The faceplates that will be available next week are Choco, Vanilla, Cupid, Ena, and Pongpong.

EDIT: Don't worry I found her, and yes I can see I've been out of the loop far too long and missed her completely!!

 

Well, I finally caved on a tan Ante Pukifee since I saw the note that the current available face plates will be taken down and replaced with the five new ones Choco, Vanilla, Cupid, Ena and Pongpong. I might have a bit of an Ante obsession.

 

It's easy to be obsessed with Ante, I have a couple and a LF Ante and three PF Bonnie's. I find it difficult to decide which I like better.

 

Thank @NineOneThree, I’ve been waiting to hear who was going to be released and I’m delighted Vanilla is on that list, I just love her snuffly wee nose!

I’ve decided Littlefees aren’t for me as I just don’t like their shoulder/arm shape (a recent realisation as for years I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t fully bond with mine) so I need a brooding, sulky Pukifee replacement although I’m not sure what sculpt is closest to my LF Rendia.

I love that group photo @Xanadu Dolls, especially the expressions on the faces of the ones at the back. Intentional or not that wee one dressed in orange peering over the shoulder of another makes the whole portrait come to life!

 

I love your Renida! I understand what you’re saying about Littlefee though. I think Mio looks a little like Renida with full lips, small nose, and similar eye shape. I had my Mio posted but the custom faceups can give a completely different look and after comparing Fairyland photos maybe Ena looks more like Rendia.

Yes, I already have a Pukifee Ante in normal resin, and two Littlefee Ante's (one tan, one normal) and i ordered a tan PukiPuki Ante as well. If they had done faceups on the Pukifee's in the blue/gray colors I would have had one of those too, lol! Her sculpt really speaks to me in all the sizes.

Finally gettting the little ones into seasonally appropriate attire.........I love these two little ones

You know what, I was thinking Mio too until you showed me this @NineOneThree, I never realised how alike they are. Went and had a look on FL website at the Ena pictures and I think she could be the one. Thank you so much!

 

I think Ena looks like a baby version of Rendia.

Hi! Does anyone know if the new headback fits the older faceplates too?

I have a 2017 event faceplate and have to find a body for her

 

@relish What I can tell you is: my newer Pukifee faceplate doesn't fit well on my older headbacks.
I have a recent Pukifee event faceplate (the left Pukifee in my last DoA post) and I'd need to remove some of the chin area on the older headback to make it fit right.
I have the same problem with Realpukis. Newer faceplates aren't fitting well on the older headbacks. *sigh*
I've used a Dremel tool to alter one headback but I'm using work-arounds for the rest.
Still love 'em, tho.

Thank you, I love the work this artist did on her and my little Darjeeling (Bonnie) and was so disappointed when she stopped doing faceups. I'm glad you popped over, I do enjoy writing little stories about my dolls and am in the middle of putting a book together. Darjeeling is one of my elves that lives in a teapot.

Yes it is and I'm sad Petitemarine is no longer doing them. Yes, she did and they make her and Darjeeling look really cute. I love dolls with teeth!

Well I’ve just gone and ordered an Ena (thank you @NineOneThree) and a Vanilla. Now to spend the waiting time preparing an excuse for when hubby answers the door to get the parcel lol.

Here's another single photo, this time it's Icis (tan), who I have called Lady Grey in a short story about three elves living in a teapot. Lady Grey is from a family with a long royal bloodline, though she doesn't have a penny to her name.

@Xanadu Dolls your Vanilla is utterly adorable as is your Icis. Don’t see many of those at all which is a shame as that wee face just makes you want to give her a hug!

@NineOneThree what a cutie! She looks so different from the usual company photos you see of her. That outfit is just precious!

 

@Xanadu Dolls, the outfit is from aliexpress, I used it as a temporary outfit but it looked so cute on her. It is sold as ob11 and I bought it for some ot dolls my daughter has.

@Blodeuwedd, I love the faceup one of her previous owners did, it is the reason I bought her.

I love your Kaka, she has so much character . . . she almost looks like she's saying "I'm pooped!"
I have one of those little pull along carts as well, they work so well with the PukiFees. I also have a larger one that has Radio Flyer on it. Do you have lots of props?

 

Some ob11 fit, it looked really baggy/loose on the ob11 size doll.

 

@Xanadu Dolls- I have some props.......I had quite a few things from my Riley Kish dolls that work for them.
They do also have a little scooter

That's a lovely photo of your Ante. I really love green eyes with red hair. The scooter is a good size, I haven't one of those, I do have a couple of trikes though.
This is an old photo taken in 2013 when I first got my Ante, it's not the best quality, but it does show one of the trikes.

 

Here's one of Pio on the other trike. Everytime I see something that even looks like it may be the right size, I buy it! I'm hopeless and just can't help myself, props add so much to a photo.

 

Oh and I found this one of Cupid, it shows the 1st trike better.

 

@Xanadu Dolls Love your trikes! And I really like Cupid as a pukifee. She's really cute! I'm trying so hard to resist getting anymore, but I really do love the Pukifee size.
