Oh my goodness, I’m in love. Need more Antes; got a Littlefee and a tan Pukifee Ante plus a normal skin one on order but need more!

 

Right? Ante was the very first bjd I fell in love with about ten years ago now, I’m hoping to preorder her when my next paycheck comes in. I just have to decide whether I want normal or tan skin.

 

Here is my Littlefee and her PukiFee mini me. I have a new tan pukifee on order with the sleeping faceplate too.

I love all the antes. I think I'm going to order a tan pukifee, and hope she gets here in time for my birthday in October. I'm also considering a mio. Super random question: do your pukifee wear underwear? And if so, where do you purchase them?

 

I have 2 pukifee and they both wear underwear that I did in a « thight looking » fabric. I haven’t tried to buy some though.



Also, I can see that a lot of you use some type of « animal eyes » (is it the name?) and I love them! Could I know where you buy them?
I saw an whole thread on 8/10/12mm eyes so what do you usually use in those pretty one color eyes? Thank you!

 

My Pukifees have always worn pants so I decided against the extra bulk of underwear. If you get short enough shorts in a soft cotton, you can always pretend they're undies.

There's tons of options on Etsy for just about everything Pukifee. You might also have some luck with Blythe undies if they're stretchy enough. (Skipper uses the same body or thereabouts.)

 

Thank you for this SaltedPretzel. I was wondering the same thing. I can only find bloomers on Etsy but want knickers/undies for when they wear skirts & dresses. I suppose cycling shorts would do at a pinch but I haven’t (so far) found then in Pukifee size either.

 

Well blow me. Just looked and found HelloCoolCat on Etsy that does all sorts of things including Pukifee sized shoes and knickers. Mmmm where’s my wallet?

 

I got a few shoes for my pukifees from that shop! They fit well!

 

Waaaahhh~ what a beautiful dress and the color of the wig is so wonderful! May I ask where you got that adorable ruffle dress?

I finally got another multihead! Ever since I got Sybil, I wanted an Ante to go with her. Her wig and eyes shouldn't be too far behind, but I'm not sure when she'll get a faceup - I think every artist I've used in the past is no longer available

 

Congrats! And good luuck finding another faceup artist whose style works for you.

{sigh}... Seems like forever since my Ante and Cupid Multiheads moved on to new homes.

Jay Searle in Oregon did 3 BJD faceups for me this year. A friend of mine uses AngelToast for faceups. AngelToast might still have openings for this fall.

 

I didn’t when I bought Sybil, littlegreycoconut sent all the clothes she had for her. I have knit similar stuff for my MNF, though

I’ll check them out!

 

I have a number of Jay's faceups among my dolls too. Lovely work.

My 2023 Ante is here! I love the tan resin color, it’s a little reddish but from experience I know red pigment fades to nice natural skin tone. Here she is as I received her, I will be changing her eyes and I’m not sure how I’m styling her yet.

@Merlin's Mom and @melie59, I do like the color they sent but I like glass or resin eyes. I’ll probably stick with a blue, I have some on the way but if they don’t work out I might spring for Enchanted Doll Eyes or Mako.

 

Yes I did! I ordered a tan Ante. I already have an NS one. I love the Ante sculpt!

 

I had an older natural skin one too but always wanted a tan one. I hope yours will be ready soon, I ordered at the end of March through DDE so my wait time was 5 full months.

 

I styled her today but I’m not liking anything I have for her besides eyes. I want a really special look but what I can’t find what I have in mind anywhere..I just wanted to take a picture for her doll profile and I’ll update it when I find what I’m looking for.

 

Oh she is gorgeous. My Pukifee Ante came this week. She’s called Rose and if I ever work out how to upload a photo of her I’ll show you. My girl is currently sporting a hacked down IH wig which is far too big for her, but can I get it off her??? I just adore the Ante sculpt and I want more Pukifees. Thanks for this photo as I’ve been thinking of a tan one but thought the colour too dark. Your photo proves I was wrong and I am now considering it.

I don’t host my photos. Because of my Aspergers I don’t use any social media (I’m on Facebook and Flickr but don’t use them much) if I can help it. Haven’t taken many photos of Rose because her mess of a wig. Don’t worry, I’ll sort it. Thanks for your offer of help Teddy.

 

I have Pukifee Ante in natural and a Littlefee Ante in natural, I call the Littlefee Ante and the Pukifee Andi. I have always wanted a tan one so this is my third Ante and I’m trying to figure out a name. The tan can look dark or light depending on how you photograph them or edit the photo.

I updated her look, still trying to figure out a name.. I really want a fairytale look for her eventually but this is better than her first temporary style I think.

@NineOneThree Your little Ante is just too adorable for words. Congratulations on her safe arrival. Love her sisters as well, such a great set you have.

Personally I think I just doomed myself by looking at this thread. I'm really tempted to add another tiny baby to the family. Send help. To be honest I could really use a little pocket companion to alleviate the dread of the long working hours. I'm just a little worried about their magnetic hands and feet. Has anyone ever experienced them coming off at some point without actually intending to take them off?

 

My Pongo's hands don't come off very easily, they are pretty tight. I did not try his feet because he is wearing those high boots:

I find that my pukifees hands and especially feet are hard to take off. They've never come off accidentally. They have small notches that kind of lock them in place (unlike minifees).

 

I've been waiting to get into the local fb page for a couple weeks now >_> so it'll probably be longer than I anticipated.

 

My little Pukifee Vanilla "Vanessa" and below, in a spoiler, her friend, Peggie. This is Vanessa's 3rd face-up! She didn't like the first 2! Hopefully this one will stick. I acquired her second hand. And, I just found out My Tan Ante has come in at DDE! I am so excited!

I’m happy to see all the new Pukifee coming in, has anyone ordered any sculpts besides Ante? I saw a Pio on Instagram but I’m not sure if it was a new one and it had a beautiful custom faceup, it made me want to order a blank one and send it out.

 

I got my Pio (I call her Peggy) about a month ago (even though I ordered her later than my Ante). I did put my own face-up on her as I was not in love with the one from FL. I am still learning so it is not perfect, but I was going for cute. Here she is in her favorite chair. It is a Bratz chair that I found on Amazon recently.

I didn’t realize your Pio was new too. Do you have a picture of the factory faceup?

 

There seems to be only a picture of the Black Bird full package. And those pictures are not very clear, but I assume that's Pio's default face up.

I am curious what owner photos look like of the faceup since the factory photos are not super clear and sometimes look different in person.

I actually like him with that dark wig. He's really cute as a boy, but his eye make up is very dark.
