All the kiddos are very cute indeed, and I love how you've photographed them.

Descending Sky, I agree about Bonnie. Cece was my first PKF, and she completely changed my mind about this size range and opened the door for the rest of the Pukifee Patrol to join the troop. I just couldn't resist her face.

I could resist no longer...................I have been eyeing this little NS Kaka on the DDE website for a while now (I have the fullset tan Egyptian one in layaway so I thought I didn't need another)......................resist was futile in the end. I'm so glad I caved. She's just adorable.

Oh good dolly gods I already have a PKF (multi head) Ante....but this pic is really really making me want a 'regular' one

 

I just love Ante. I hope you are able to replace your little one @stelladolls! Adorable picture of her.
I went through my eye stash yesterday and replaced my Ante and Kaka's eyes to something a little brighter for each of them.

Where does everybody get their shoes for Pukifee?

 

I use shoes I had for my Kish Riley doll. With socks they fit pretty well, maybe a tad loose, but they work good enough. Kaka and ANte are wearing those shoes here.

I used to have a Riley doll many years ago. Wish I had kept her…she was adorable.

So, there was just an announcement that a limited variety of pukifees are available again - 8 different faces. NS, BW, and tan - Ante, Arong, Kaka, Mio, Pio, Rin, Tika, and Zoe.

 

Wow, only 1/3 of the previous faces. I wonder if they'll be cutting the LTF that deep as well. I pulled the faceplate photos off the Ala Carte site before it goes away.

Whew jeez I wanted a chance @ Pio & Zoe again but not like this :/

Eta: perhaps it's not a permanent discontinuation of all the other sculpts? Maybe they might release them in 'sets'? Like they release thes 8 & offer them for a period, then retire them and bring back 8 that are currently greyed out? Idk. Just thinking out loud.

I’m happy with the ones they brought back, I have been looking for a tan Ante for 2 years. I want Pio also but I’ll have to wait a couple of months and hopefully they’ll still be available.

 

The selection appears to be quite arbitrary. I hope they did not discontinue those molds forever.

 

I'm thinking that they will continue to release them in groups (at least I hope so - I would like a NS Rosanna!) I also would like the opportunity to get some of the sleeping heads I don't have. I know FL won't do that though! I could buy the whole doll, but that seems like a lot. I have the opportunity here to get the tan Zoey and NS Mio SP heads I am missing, but then, knowing me, I'd keep the whole doll and then just have more pukifees and not solve my missing sp issue.

I will probably end up getting Pio. Although a tan Ante...

 

I'd like a tan Pio. I would also want Cupid, but he's discontinued. In any case I can't order anything now as I have ordered a couple of Littlefees in case my favorites will be discontinued.

 

That was my dilemma between Pio and Ante, I chose a tan Ante this time but I still want a tan Pio, so I hope they’ll keep them around.

 

I have all of these except Mio and Zoe!

 

I'm really surprised that Pong and Cupid aren't on the release list, but Arong is. Not even Bonnie, who was one of the first! Perhaps they're going to rotate sculpts in/out of availability? Just odd that half the release group are much later sculpts.

 

I hope they're going to rotate. I've put a Pukifee Ante on my to buy list!

 

I'm very surprised that Arong is available. Also surprised Luna's not there as I remember her being fairly popular. Overall a very interesting line-up. I'm really disappointed that Rosanna isn't on the list, I'm gonna have to wait and see if they ever offer her again.

 

I was really surprised at Arong too..............I wouldn't have thought of that sculpt as being popular. I really want a tan Ante, but with the LTF discontinuation and the Realfee sale currently going on I've spent too much as is recently so am going to have to wait and hope these little ones are on offer for another couple of months. Did they give a time limit of their availability?

 

There was not a time limit stated and when someone asked on Instagram they replied, “they should be back for awhile.” It’s frustrating but I just get what I can and roll with it.

 

Well, I'm gonna aim for a Pio and a Zoe, maybe next month? Since I just did my LTF order. Now I only have to decide on resin colors lol

Also, as I'm getting back into trying to photograph my dolls, would my Tika (multihead ante on pkf body) still be appropriate here? Used to post her on the pkf thread back in my 'heyday' of being active in the hobby, but I know there's a specific multi thread, tho its latest post was, ahem, in 2018

 

What scale do you use for Pukifee props (ie. food, drinks)? I often see Pukifee listed as being 1/12 scale, but that would really only work if you doll was supposed to be an adult. I tend to use my Ante as a toddler in my Minifee world, but many 1/4 props are just too big.

I copied and pasted that from Fairyland’s site, this is probably why they’re being rereleased in small groups (much like the Realfee). They will need to make new molds for casting the updated faceplates.

I will admit I’m a bit surprised by the initial choices too but again it makes sense to hold back some of the popular ones in a way to build excitement. I do hope they will rerelease Vanilla in the near future, I love her wee face.
Has anyone else noticed that ‘Ena’ is missing, even as a greyed out picture, which I found odd considering she was a relatively new addition.

 

I use a mix of 1/6 and 1/12 because you don’t really see a lot of 1/8 props for sale. Barbie, Blythe, ob11, etc.. it can be a toss up because even within those scales you can end up with things that are not realistic for pukifee. I saw you asked about shoes as well. I search Lati Yellow shoes and pukifee shoes on Etsy and Blythe and ob11 shoes on aliexpress. Again it’s a toss up if they will fit but try to look for measurements when you can, pukifee feet are about 2.5cm.

 

Blythe shoes fit? I knew Lati did but I had no idea about Blythe. Good to know! Thank you!!

 

Some Blythe shoes, I don’t know all the differences in Blythe but you have to look for measurements. What kind of shoes are you looking for?

 

Here's Pongo testing Blythe sneakers. They are a tight fit, but look rather large on him. His own shoes look clearly smaller.

You can also look for “Kish Riley” shoes. The clothes don’t fit but the shoes do.

 

I like ob11 sneakers, there are three styles I have found on aliexpress that fit and don’t look too big. I have tried others that don’t. The boots are from aliexpress also but found by searching Blythe boots. There are different colors of each style also and each are $11 or less, you might see them on other sites for double the price by resellers.

 

Next paycheck I'm going to rebuy an Ante. I loved my first one! She was the first doll I'd ever had in that size, and I would keep her in my pocket and just bring her out to look at her. She had the most adorable hoodie and looked like a little baby.

I was discouraged from doing this by a family member so I ended up not bonding with her as much as I would've liked. Now that I have the chance to buy her again, little Lyra will be my pocket buddy again!

 

This is just about the sweetest thing I’ve ever heard…and the very best reason to buy a new Pukifee!

Does anyone know how long Fairyland intends to keep the current ala carte for pukifee open? I couldn't find this info on their site. :/ I'd like to grab a Tika because I love those little teefs, but my wallet is tapped out lol.

I’m wondering if the discontinuation was due to mold issues as well. Some of those faceplates have been available for like ten years? So the 2023 mark might be a “we had some problems with molds or the master sculpts, so we’re releasing them in the batches they get finished in”
Which would make sense as the most recent plates all came back.

 

I couldn’t pass up Mio from marketplace! I could have ordered new I guess but then I’d be waiting and I wanted her now, lol! Besides that, she has a pretty faceup by a past owner. If I receive any clothes or other items the same day as a doll I always try them first. The eyes and romper came today and the wig is the only spare I have in this size at the moment. I’ll probably play around with her look once I find something but I really love the colors together.

 

Has Fairyland ever offered a ‘human ears’ Pukifee? I like the elf ears, but I wish my Ante had human ears to fit with my mnf ladies.

 

Did you have a Pukifee Ante with human ears? As far a I know people mod them but I have never heard of fairyland making any. I think it’s easy to hide the ears if you don’t want them showing but I don’t think it’s difficult to mod them if you have the proper equipment.

 

Oh lol, no. That was a typo. Mine has elf ears. I wish she had human ears. Lol

 

If you’re not confident to mod her on your own there are others you might commission to mod her.

I found it by searching “ob11 one piece” on aliexpress. I can’t remember if the socks came with it or another order but they matched perfectly.

 

I really like her face-up. I don't care for the one that FL gives Mio. You were lucky to find one with such a cute face-up on the MP!

 

The faceup definitely was the main selling point, I could buy a new blank one and try to get a custom faceup but that would take forever. I chose now over new and I’m happy I did but it might be bad for my wallet because I’m going to want to send some of my dolls for artist faceups now!

 

Do OB11 things typically fit Pukifee or are they a bit too small? I usually avoid OB11 clothing because I thought it would be too small. This romper is so cute!

 

This one looked huge on the ob11 body in the sales photo so I tried it out. Typically I can tell now what fits and what won’t by looking. The clothes have to look oversized on ob11 or nendoroid dolls to fit pukifee.

 

Dumb question that I'm sure has been asked and answered before (forgive me for not scrolling backwards)!

Where is everyone's favorite place to find wigs that fit well these days? It's been so long since any of my girls got new hair I'm out of the loop. I was going with 5-6 facets by marcia for ages but the selection isn't what it once was and things rarely fit well. It's like everything was designed for the egg shaped lati yellow and tiny delf noggins.

(Case in point, a 5-6 Monique Doris that takes a bit more effort that I'd like to not look like a giant, sliding poof, even with a wig cap)
