Got my Akis full set and just wow, so much wow. I'm going to give the bulk of his outfit and his wig to one of my blue boys. Oh and the vampire head stole the body I had been debating heads for so guess the debate is over.

 

Dang and Akis already? He's this latest summer event right? Or was he spring??

 

He was Summer, the merman, and though it has limited posing his tail is wowing in green.

 

Woah that'a crazy I wasn't expecting anyone to have one until winter! Especially as a fullset!

 

I am one of like three or so in the wilds so far, but I was also shocked by the speed of these. (double so I ordered a F60 Netis boy the same time and I feel extra dolls add time.)

I have seen a blue mermaid tail for sale, and I saw someone posted here about an issues with their Akis' upper fins. (which I hope they got fixed.) So yeah they are trickling in really fast for fairyland. My Lami orded end of Dec or maybe start of Jan had only just came in Sep so these are shipping crazy fast.

I hope to get some time in the next few days to figure out wigs for Akis and Vampire Akis, as well as a few other newer dolls I have been needing to have a day and get out the wig boxes for. I also hope to have some nice photos soon.

 

couple of questions for y'all!

Has anyone gone the mod route for a elf phoeb? I love the sculpt but the chance I'm able to source a head within my budget is slim to none so I'm thinking of getting the normal head modded and curious if anyone else has done that yet!
on the note of phoeb, I'd love to see anyone's stylings of a male version of the sculpt! I think they would make such a pretty boy

Lastly, is there such thing as a vampire elf Klaus? or is it just a mod I've been seeing? I love Klaus' sculpt but I'm a sucker for the elf ears lol

 

I've never done elf ear modding (yet maybe someday) so have no helpful info there.
I'd also like to see a male Phoeb, I love seeing FairyLand molds in different genders then the default.
I have an Ingrid (vampire) boy, and an Lami elf boy, but my male Lami hasn't gotten a face up or the mods I plan for him yet.

As for Klaus, there was a vampire elf Klaus, it was a Fairy-line version that had a centaur optional body. I deeply regret not getting the vampire elf version of Klaus, as I love both elf ears and dolls with fangs. However I have a blue human Klaus, and an incoming will be a merman normal skin Klaus to make up for missing the vampire one. XD

 

Denver Doll posted a surprise PukiFee drop, continuing until mid-December. Do you think this means we'll see a new Minifee late that month/early January? I'm still learning FL's release schedule, but it seems like 4 MNF/year is the standard.

 

Yeah 4 minifees a year, once a season has been their standard for a while now. With the second doll being any of the other sizes. Sometimes a random event for new stuff like resin shoes, lookbacks, and now fantasy skin tones.

 

Pretty sure the last few years it's been about 4 MNF a year, averaging one per event with a second doll in another size. Also seems like it's 3 girls and a new boy for gender break down. However I have not done any hard data on that, just kind of basing it off what I recall of the last couple of years of events and the hand full of MNFs and feeples I've gotten.

 

I saw that a handful of MNFs are being temporarily sold out from Dec 15.
Does this mean that they're going to get modified in some way? Of course my favorite MNF is on the list, I'm debating if I should have to shell out for her by Dec 15, or if it's safe to wait for her return.

I saw that too, and to answer from where I saw this posted DDE.
I'm safe this time around, as none of my favs on the list this time.
As for waiting or not, sometimes they bring em back 100% the same like Klaus, sometimes they revamp them like El. So if it's a mold you really love and want, might be worth saving for or putting in layaway now vs waiting and seeing what happens.

 

You know, I’m glad you all got me to go back and re-read the DDE statement about the minifees being “temporarily” discontinued because, when I first read it, I thought they were talking about all the minifees!!! I’m glad to see it’s only about 4 sculpts. Since I just bought Ante second hand, I think I’m good. I will need a few minifee bodies over the next year or so though and was worried!

 

Sorry, I forgot to say where! Like @Tippetarius mentioned I first saw it on DDE and then I went to the site for confirmation/more information... unfortunately this is all that was said about it.

@Tippetarius thanks for that, although it's the answer I was afraid of The one I want is Honoka. I thought I was safe to put her purchase off for a few years since she's been around a long time. I love her big eyes and she shares that with Risse and Ante, I'm hoping these girls don't get their eyes shrinked and it's just a normal maintenance.
I'll wait until the last couple days to order and see how strongly I still feel about it. Thank goodness that Denverdoll has layaway in case of the all powerful FOMO!!! It's not as if there aren't a bunch of beautiful MNFs to choose from if she gets changed. But, those big doe eyes

Honoka def is such a cute sculpt! probably better safe than sorry to get her I'm hoping they Bring back some older event heads revamped (as always I'm dying for a phoeb elf re-release lol and elf vampire Klaus) can't wait to see what comes in the new year! I feel like I've only recently started liking mnfs, they weren't my thing at first but def has grown on me lol

 

Maya is fairly new, isn't she? I was surprised to see her on the list!

 

Maya is made in 2019, she's a few months older than Honoka from 2018.
When I actually looked at the dates now I wonder if it's just about time for their maintenance. Ante is from 2013 and Risse 2014.
That would make Honoka 5 years old now, who is 5 years younger than Ante.
And Maya 4 and a half years old, and is 5 years younger than Risse.
Maybe that's a total coincidence, or maybe they tend to need some maintenance after being used to make molds for 4 or 5 years

@strawberry_parade I'm glad your faves haven't made it onto this list. They have grown on me too. I'm interested to see which rereleases will come which is part of why I'm not yet sure if I'll order Honoka-chan or wiat for her return. I'm hoping to see some kind of teasers for winter before the time to order her runs out.
I love Phoeb too. She has a gentleness to her and elf ears always make a doll a thousand times cuter in my eyes
I think Iset can work well for my doll plans too. She has beautiful full lips like Phoeb.

I'm getting so impatient for the winter MNF reveal! (I know, I know, we just finished Ariel's preorder...) Last year, the first pics of Lami came out around the end of November, so we maybe have about 2 weeks to go. I would love another doll with a similar vibe to Phoebe - I wish I could have bought her fullset, it's really spectacular.

 

Same lol usually the winter events are my fav outfits. I loved Dina's! I'm excited to see this fullset

Hi all! I've never been big on Minifees but something is happening lately... And I am considering a third one...
First is my Celine hybrid, I finally got her a body! I had also been looking for Sarang14 for quite some time and I recently got it from a friend of mine. I have to say I'm delighted with my girls I'm hoping to get them some cyberpunk outfits if I can find them

I think V2 is in refernce to the hip connector. It was modified to fit both male and female fairyline bodies

 

So a v1 centaur body can't fit a male body?

I think that's the case. Like how the Dina doe legs don't fit the male body without some modding.

Hi everyone, I've been lurking. Everyone's crew look fantastic, I love seeing everyone's dolls.

I have a request- does anyone have an minifee who have a more serious/grumpy look? Preferably as a girl (head gender doesn't matter). I have one very stubborn character I haven't been able to convince to take a MSD doll form.

I don't have a lot of female MNF, and the ones I do own have next to no photos. However I do have grumpy boys I can offer pix of.
This is Winchester or Winn to his friends. To me he doesn't look as angry as some of the other scowl event head Alans do, but I feel like he always looks like he disapproves of something or someone around him or is expressing a deep concern for things.

 

Strange question.

Does anyone have both the ver1 and ver2 Pegasus wings? If so, can you do side-by-side comparison pics?

Me too! I wish Fairyland sold the limited outfits seperately, like other companies do. I actually loved Ariels outfit, but I skipped on her because I wasn't too fond of her sculpt.

I'm just now realizing that there is a New Release Active Line MNF girl body. What is the difference between them and the original A-line girl body? Is it me or is the NRA-line girl body thinner than the original?

Sigh. No news on the holiday/winter dolls yet. I'm so bored! I have a terrible sneaking suspicion we won't see anything until after the 15th (when the current event with the smaller dolls ends).

 

Oh noooo, I hope that isn't the case! I'm only holding back on the current Harucasting preorder because I want to make sure I wouldn't rather splurge on the FL winter event, and the preorder deadline is the 15th.

 

Eek, I hope we get at least a hint pretty soon then! I've already ordered my Maji - she won't be offered next year and is a definite yes for me. But even the nude, blank doll is pricey enough that I kind of hope I don't like whatever FL comes out with, haha. If only I could win the lottery...

Maybe they are waiting to wrap up orders and for the special skins event to close before they start another event? I’m sure events cause an influx of orders. Maybe they’re trying to pace themselves?
