    1. @LiselT Your doll is simply stunning! Congrats!

    2. @SteamWitch thank you! I am still saving up to finish customizing her to match her fullset! The wig in the back may possibly go to her :whee:

@moonlightnocturne Thank you! I feel super lucky I found the wings. It wasn't planned but as soon as I saw them I had to have them for Aylin!

    3. She looks lovely with those wings, gratz.

    4. @Tippetarius Thank you! I have such plans to finish her look! Just have to save for it now!

    5. Hey guys- I am having some trouble deciding on an appropriate sculpt to reshell one of my girls.

Can I get some pic spam of your Rens, Sircca and Mirwen girls? :eusa_pray Bonus if they have Freckles, red hair or green eyes! :chibi

Here is a picture of Mirwen, Chloe and Celine. The original minifees I had wanted (of corse, I got off track and have gotten a few others in the process ;))

    7. Congratulations she is lovely - the whole trio are very cute! :)

    8. Thanks!

    9. I can't wait to see people start to customize the Elf El and Lishe!

    10. Got my special blind box that came with an outfit, wig, eyes, props/accessories! I went in on a VIP box with a full set for each of the four seasons, so this is the fall box, Woodland Adventures themed! It's actually supposed to be for my Scar Breakaway but Shiwoo was the one on the body when it came in so he got to try it first!

    12. It was a long time since I took pictures of my minifee! Here are Max & Roxanne (Ante & Luha):

    13. I have a mnf noob question, I've never owned one but they're wonderful and I was wondering; if I order a full doll and a spare body, will they put the event head on it automatically? (And will it come with the neck connector, or should I plan to order one of those, too?) I keep being indecisive about my doll plans but I figure more info won't hurt!!

    14. @Mamo If you order doll with an extra head, (be that sleeping or event) and you order an extra body. As far as I know they wont just put the head on for you. But the MNF bodies do come with the neck connectors so you do not need to order an extra one. Unless you are buying a different doll company's body to put the head on as a hybrid.

I just got an full set Ingrid and a male motion body not too long ago and put the vampire head A on it.

    15. @Mamo agreeing wiht @Tippetarius . I've never known FL to put event heads on bodies prior to shipping. However, it's super easy to do with the neck connector - which says a lot because the idea of having to restring a doll leaves me in a sweat. LOL

    16. Your little Chloe is adorable @LyanneNZ !!

Your warrior Mirwen is amazing @Rosslyn !

Here is my tan Sircca for you @LiselT !
Personally, I do like Sircca - but not s much as Chloe.

    17. Oh your doll has a stunning corset, I think my minifee has one very similar to that but in a different color scheme! I'm curious what kind of clothes did you pair with the corset? I'm having trouble deciding on how to dress mine.

    18. I'm pretty sure this has been answered before, but I haven't had alot of time to browse the older threads. Does the A-line Cutie bust fit on the Moe girl body? I like the Moe body more than the A line, so I'd rather get that body, but I would like a smaller bust for the girl I'm planning. Any help is appreciated! :abow:

    19. It does! But you can’t order that bust with the moe body.
My friend and I ordered last summer and just traded busts.

      • x 1
    20. Oh good! I figured I would have to order two bodies or do a split. Thank you for the help! :D

    21. According to Fairyland, it does not (yet they did an order period where you could order as such??) But many people, including myself, have swapped the busts with no issue. Just make sure you're ordering the A-line body and not the Fairyline body. ;)

    22. Thank you @moonlightnocturne ! Minne makes *such* wonderful corsets -
and I have *way* too many for my gals. As for what I dress them ‘with’ -
mainly delicate heirloom-sewn petticoats. That’s my favorite sewing to
do as I adore the sheer Swiss batiste fabrics, French cotton laces and
silk ribbons. These petticoats take *hours* to make - but I feel they’re
worth the effort. I may have posted this image before - but here is a
look at my group - lately switched into different group of corsets.

    23. Oh those are very nice! And yes, she does make beautiful, beautiful work. I can't imagine the effort that goes into those corsets.

Not to mention your petticoats are simply stunning! I honestly thought they weren't handmade until you mentioned it. Excellent work!

    24. Thank you @moonlightnocturne ! Yes, Minne’s work is *really* amazing.
      ( btw - Minne is a man )

I had several wonderful classes in the 2004/5 for “Heirloom Sewing for Dolls”
with the most wonderful instructor. Making these delicate garments for the
dolls has kept me in this hobby since then - I just keep looking up Edwardian
garments from various museums and seeing if I can create something similar
for my dolls. Handmade garments may often be of much higher quality than
those made by companies (who for making a profit, so use less $$ fabrics).

    25. Oop, my bad. I try to refer to people who's pronouns I don't know to as they/them but somehow that slipped my mind that time.

Wow, that sounds incredible! I love fashion from that period and a bit before it! I sewed a Victorian inspired outfit for one of my dolls, and as a new sewer it was fairly difficult. You must put in a lot of work in your garment making!

    26. My mother (now 84) made a beautiful heirloom baby dress for my middle child (who is now 26). This all makes me wonder if she still remembers how to sew heirloom. I still have the dress hanging in a closet. The technique used in the dress would surely make a great addition to a corset on a doll. Hmmmmmm.....

    27. curious...they change out that hook thing in minifee renewal A-line's leg, ... but left it in the motion line body that was released a year after renewal A-line?

any tips avoiding string stuck around that hook or how to fix it easily with pants on?

    28. OMG! I am trying to sew corsets as well but this is on another level <3

    29. I’m having a weird issue with my Nanuri 2021 head. The neck key won’t turn at all when I try to put her on a recent body. I have an Ingrid full doll that I just bought last year and it’s like the neck key gets stuck after moving about a millimeter.

It’s especially strange because the neck key on my 2011 body moves perfectly, but the resin match is terrible due to yellowing so that body isn’t an option for her. I really need her to be on a recently produced body and have no idea why the key won’t turn.

Has anyone else had this issue, or have any ideas to fix it? I’m not keen on sanding the inside of her head without being sure that that’s the cause of the problem.

    30. Is the body itself hard to pose, like it has really creaky joints and snaps back straight and arms/legs won't hold a pose? I had a similar problem with a body once brand new from Fairyland and the body was strung so tightly the turnkey wouldn't move

    31. I recently had trouble with an Ingrid head I had just bought. I needed to tilt the head back just a little and then it turned just fine. It panicked me for a little bit though. I have also had the turn key turned all the way around (180degrees).

    32. Tilting the head back worked perfectly! Thanks for the help.

    33. I'm glad it worked! It really freaked me out when the key didn't turn at first! Since it was the same sculpt, we had trouble with, I wonder if that one tilts back further than the others.

    34. I had a dream about my incoming girls last night, I dreamt that they were ready after only a week and shipping directly to me from Fairyland. :XD: I guess that's what we all hope for, isn't it! Seeing everyone's photos and beautiful dolls has helped make the wait easier, so I wanted to stop by and thank you all for such a vibrant discussion thread :aheartbea

    35. I got my first BJD a bit over a month ago and it was a Minifee Chloe transformed into Kida from Atlantis, I love her!

    36. That's so cool! I love Atlantis. One of my favorite movies growing up. :)

    37. Yes, mine too! I saw her and it was instant love, so I just had to get her... The nervousness till the seller replied if she was still available was driving me crazy
Right now I'm trying to get her a correct earring (found someone on etsy who prints it in human size she's gonna try printing it in MSD size for me) and necklace... I'm a perfectionist so those 2 things are bothering me a little bit

    38. @Hikari-chanXx congratulations!!! She's lovely, and looks so perfect, exactly like Kida from the movie!! You've done a wonderful job <3

    39. Oh, I bought her like that! The faceup was done by Elo Dolly on Instagram according to the seller

    40. It's been so quiet in here! My ShuShu elf grail doll is the resin version a character I made in WoW. I have since recreated her in Second Life. Here's my doll, Keheley and I'm adding a link to a pic of her avi in SL.

    41. She's beautiful! Are you planning to add the moon to her face too like in the SL avatar?

    42. That's a conundrum. She came to me with that custom Rumpelstiltskin face-up. It's faded over the years and could use an update, but one of the reasons I bought her is because that face-up was perfect for the character. But if I were to have it redone, I'd want the crescent moon, too.

    43. Just thought I'd throw a nice pic of my Eliya in, I'm not the best picture taker but I thought it turned out pretty good : )

    45. Awe, thank you so much Kirahfaye :)

    46. @Kirahfaye Shushu is such a beautiful sculpt, she's one of my favorites!! Yours is lovely, I love her eyes!

@KimC your Eliya is looking lovely, what a regal headpiece!!

I had another dream about my incoming minifees lmfao (vivid and weird dreams are a side effect of my medication so I shouldn't be surprised, haha). I can't wait to be able to share pictures of my girls here!!

    47. @KimC I love your Eliya! That sculpt has such an earnest expression. I have one that I bought second hand here in the marketplace and love to take pictures of her. Anymore Eliyas out there???

    49. I FINALLY got my boy Lishe's wig in! And apparently he claimed a pair of eyes that were also in that order, lol!
      Here's my completed Markus!

    51. She's lovely ❤

    52. I ended up redoing my vampire boy's face again, pretty happy with how it turned out this time. Now I just need to figure out if I want to keep him on the original motion line body or if I'm going to end up hybridding because the thigh joint on the male motion line body gives me migraines, but I like the aesthetic.

    53. Thank you so much! This face up gave me a minor panic attack half way through when I completely smudged his lips while painting his fangs because I didn't seal the watercolors properly, but I'm glad I was able to pull it off in the end and fix it!

I'm also excited because my Iset and event Soo Elf head are on the way. I'm still brainstorming how I want to style my Soo when they get here, so if anyone wants to post pictures of their older Soo's, I'd love to see them!

    54. Tried to do a voiced dress up video but to varying degrees of nervousness.

@KimC Your Eliya is so cute! I really wish I got one before the mass discontinuation!

    55. Thank you so much PaeoniaDrop. Huh, I didn't know they discontinued her, that's too bad :(

    56. @SteamWitch He's so cute, I love the variety in his looks!
