Fairyland MiniFee MNF discussion part 67

Very beautiful, but I think I'm safe with this one... I'm still waiting for Miwa and El heads...

 

I like the new teaser girl, but I'm more interested in the lookback heads if they'll have them. I already received my El and Lishe before Christmas, I bought them tan and they definitely look smaller than the old ones. I used to have a Luts era tan Minifee El and what I can remember it was a tad larger. There's great comparison in instagram from old Minifee Lishe and new Minifee Lishe. I'm mostly wanting to see Karsh and Eliya, if they'll be grought back buuuut I'm only interested if there are the original elf ears with them.

Here's my girl Hortensia (Juri13) trying out her heels from Bluefairy. (Size is under Shinyfairy -> Junior pumps). They are perfect fit on the Moe heel feet.

@xaya Yes! Karsh with the elf ears is a must! I am looking forward to any lookback heads this event. I was surprised when I saw that comparison the other day-I really thought they would keep with the same size! I prefer smaller heads, but I am sure it’s disappointing for others.

 

I got my fullset Miwa and the three different El heads last friday...

These new El heads are definitely different form the old Minifee El, which is larger and "chubbier". This new version is so much closer to the old Delf El. Personally, I am very pleased with that Delf El was always my favorite sculpt

 

Does anyone have the pouty 2021 Juri head and minifee Hwayu? If so, can I see a comparison of the two? Juri 2021 looks a bit like a pouty human hwayu but I'm not certain, since I haven't seen them side by side yet!

@Epona I was going to send you pictures of my tan Vampire Hwayu and My NS pouting Juri 21 and they sort of look similar but @redmaiko 's link shows really shows the similarity well. The nose might be a tad different, but not so that you'd notice much.

 

My little Colette (tan Chloe, exquisitely painted by Vitta Vera) just got some
wonderful new eyes - purple hologram - and I wanted to share her new look.
She's wearing an alpaca wig by belachix, gorgeous Raouken corset and
an heirloom petticoat that I made for her. I really do adore this sculpt!!!

@Robyn_in_WA She is beautiful! Chloe is my favorite sculpt too. I miss mine- she's tan also . She's at the spa currently. I can't wait to see what she looks like!

 

My preorder that I placed at the beginning of October was delivered at the end of January, so it took about 4 months.

 

I've just received my Lishe and El heads, and was wondering...do separate heads come with CoAs? I can't find any information on the website and it's years since I bought a Fairyland doll from new... Thanks

 

Selling heads individually is something Fairyland never did before and the lookback heads are the first they have done it to my knowledge. However, event heads do not get CoAs, and if you add an expression head as part of a fullset it doesn't get a CoA (for example, my Alan sneering head that I got with my fullset Alan doesn't have a CoA). I will admit I kind of expected the lookback heads to come with one but maybe they don't after all.

 

Thanks for your reply...my heads didn't come with CoAs, and I'm now wondering if I'd bought them as whole dolls whether they'd have come with them. Probably...and now I want to get them bodies once I've saved up, they won't have them...ah well.

 

Hold on to your invoice or copy or take screen shots of the online one.
That can count as your proof of legitimacy. If you order bodies trough Fairy Land (You can order Minifee bodies) at least they will come with a COA.

returns from the spa as much as I do mine! It amazes me how different they
can look with different painting too. I waited 18weeks for my first Chloe to
return from the spa - that was really hard and may have resulted in my
buying several more while waiting!!

 

With my Ingrid and vampire heads and male body coming, I should maybe think about character and style for her and my vampire boy. I'm thinking of keeping the name Ingrid for the human girl, I almost never keep mold name with dolls but I kinda like the name here.

I'm not sure what I am going to do with the open mouthed head yet, going to try it on a few of the different male and female MNF bodies I have too figure out what I want for it. Part of me wants to just get it a cheaper body to hybrid and then like go all out on horror mods and make a demon or something else weird and creepy.

 

Finished up my Rens' face up after getting her two weeks ago. I'm pretty happy with how she turned out and wanted to share her finished look

Been a hot minute but I put some new eyes in Gabe so I took a quick pic!

 

Finally painted my NS Chloe's sleeping face plate but don't look too closely as she is still awaiting eyelashes

I am trying to decide on a third FL Minifee to join my 2 Chloes. I was going to try a new sculpt and I am looking at Ria, Sircca and I also like Mirwen and Celine but I just keep coming back to Chloe...feel free to spam photos to help me choose.

@LyanneNZ I just received the photos of my Chloe from Angel Toast (where she was being painted) and she is gorgeous!!! I do think that Mirwen and Celine look nice. Those 3 are my favorites. I do also like Sircca too now that I found the right wig for her - although, did you see @scrunch ’s Rens! It really is a hard choice. This is why I have managed to collect 11 of them!

 

Reading this thread has gotten me super excited. I got my shipping notification from DDE last week for my minifee Miwa fullset and I’m so impatient. I hear that the eyes that come in minifee are often too big for them? Here hoping I can find some eyes that fit her well before she arrives.

 

@LyanneNZ Definitely a hard choice! I personally love Celine, she'll probably be my next Minifee. But as @Dollquest pointed out, Rens is a great sculpt too! I really love mine!

 

I will definitely join the Celine club! I adore Vi, my Celine painted by AngelToast

I love Mirwen and Maya.............it really is a hard choice. I keep thinking about Chloe in tan while she's available.

They are very cute and I also got a peek at your Sircca too and she is lovely as well!

 

Your sleeping girl is stunning! You did a wonderful job on her faceup (also love her dress so much!)

I used to have a Mirwen and a Ria but sold them not long ago. I do however still have Sircca and Celine but my Sircca is a boy. Here is my Celine girl though! Her name is Priya.



It's funny, she is one of my favorite girls in my collection! I sold a lot of my minifee last year but this girl wasn't even ever considered as an option to let go of. And I didn't even think I liked the sculpt originally, but here she is among my favorite dolls in my collection.

Here's a slightly different Chloe to add to your deliberations (along with a Rheia and a Lishe, I also own a Eliya and a couple more Lishes)... I do enjoy how customisable sculpts are...


I can't wait for my newest MNFs to come in, so I can think about how I am going to improve on the ones I have already...

 

Well I think I got my Ingrid twins some what sorted out, vampire head A is the male, and the human head is the female. I gave the boy the wig from my Alan full set and grey eyes, and his twin blue eyes and a blue wig. Soon as I finish finding them clothing I'll share a photo of my Ingrid twins.

 

@KimC love your Shushu's outfit! Especially the filigree bits, she looks great!

@LyanneNZ Your Chloe looks so stylish! And oh my goodness, the shoes! She's so well put together.

By the way I have been buying shoes from He-Meife on Ebay for Chloe (they share with my Iplehouse FIDs) and he has some great styles. I've just placed another order anticipating there will be another Minifee soon if I can make a decision haha

@LiselT Thanks - There's something fun about mixing the tattoos and outfits with the fluffy hair (that's an old pic of my Chloe, she now has a pink fluffy mohair...). I love your dark witch, she looks brilliant.

@LyanneNZ Thank you - that is actually my first full Lishe, that MNF. But like you, my first Lishe was a Delf (my first BJD was something a little bit different)

 

@LyanneNZ - I finally found a good photo of the darling Rens
that I had last year - I liked her a lot - but like Chloe more.
Rens is a younger - but *very* sweet face and Fairyland’s
painting was rather perfect for her (unlike Chloe). I’d bought
this bright wig especially for Rens as I thought the happy
color suited her.

 

Ah she is pretty Robyn! I have ordered a Ria finally but with my eye still on Sircca and of course Chloe! I will paint her myself...I nearly wrote "them" because umm...I'm still really tempted to put another order in. If they did layaway I think I'd have to! I ordered a sleeping face too as I can't resist getting one of those...just love the sleep faces.

Thanks so much for the photo! I will share more Chloe pics soon. I backtracked through the thread to enjoy all the other pictures. I need to sew some things specifically for my girls.

 

Does anyone has a Rheia and Alan, can post them with no wig side by side please?
I wonder if Alan's head is on the smaller scale? Thank you in advance for any photos

 

I don't have Rheia, but I can tell you that my Alan MNF's head is smaller than a lot of my minifees. I have a size 6-7 wig on him. I had originally purchased a 7-8 wig but it was too big.

 

I'm finding the more recent dolls have smaller heads. Dina, Ingrid, Alan, Juri2020, and El Elf event head all have 6-7 size heads. Whereas a lot of people mention 7-8 wigs for older sculpts like Chloe, Celine, etc

 

I've noticed the same thing.

 

The new Minifee is up on DDE. I wasn't excited by the first preview image but seeing her at other angles and in the video I really like her face sculpt! Nothing else in the fullset does anything for me though. I was hoping we'd get more Lookback heads (if they're going through Delf sculpts I would LOVE a Delf-looking MNF Soony, Shiwoo and/or Miyu) but on Kim SunHwa's FB page they answered someone that "The lookback head will be released in April". Since Sirin is available as a basic I think I'll wait until April before deciding anything.

 

I think the "turning point" was at around Celine. I had one and she could fit into the smallest 6-7 wig I have, but the Lishe I got at the end of the discontinuing period has a big old noggin compared to the newer molds.

 

I'm in the same boat on the lookback heads. I really want to know who they're having this time, I got the MNF Chiwoo one, and the El Elf with the lip bite (which I think is technically event but still). I would LOVE to see some of the popular delf sculpts back as Minifees *coughWoosoocough*

 

I am safe from this new girl she is lovely, but not at all for me. That said doomed by the other FairyLand doll this time around. Just glad not double doomed.

In other MNF news still trying to find clothing for the Ingrid twins, but the boy has a shirt so it's a start. Oh and they have names now the girl is Rain, and the boy is Storm cuz their wig and eye coloring made me want to give them matching theme names.

I have Allan myself. Unfortunately don't have Rheia anymore. I remembered feeling that Rheia is a bit bobble headed althou she can wear wig size 6-7. But I find Allan is actually quite pleasantly proportional (imho). Just curious.

 

I wonder if they'll ever make a MNF Lu-Wen. I LOVED his delf, but I wasn't collecting SDs at the time (still only have 1, might be getting a F60). Or maybe they'll bring in the other Soo sculpts. Those of us who remember the old delf sculpts will forever hope. Maybe, just maybe, they'll doom our wallets.

 

Ohh a Minifee Luwen would be really interesting!!

 

I would be totally for a Luwen minifee! Yeeeessss. I get most excited about the minifee modeled after the old delfs.

Speaking of the old delfs as minifee... Here is my yder elf girl! I would love a standard minifee Yder to be made available even though the elf head that was released as an event head IS super cute!

 

Honestly, I just want them to release a minifee elf head that isn't - a vampire, or winking or has some sort of "different" expression. By the way, love your Yder @malvinas !

 

I also jumped on the event for elf Yder!

 

Does anyone know if they're doing a lookback head this time? Or which sculpt it'll be?

 

@SacredMonsoon I asked the same in Discord and someone said Lookback heads will be back in April, there's not a Lookbacks for sale in this time. They dug out the answer from Instagram, I don't know where.
