Here is my Pukipuki with two of my Minifee! Pardon the styling on my tiny one, I'm still trying to figure them out.

If it helps, both Minis are on Fairyland A-Line bodies, one male and the other female. I agree with @lully.lullers that Pukipuki are pretty babyish in size to MSDs and even YoSDs. I might add that their proportions are more slim with longer limbs than what you'd expect from a baby doll, which might have been easier to see without the bulky clothing and wig.

 

Oh wow, they are so tiny!

Oh wow @Dollquest ! She's gorgeous! I think I'm convinced I need a Lami now!

 

@QuietYurei further proof that my presentation could have been better I was focused on getting Beau to hold my Puki while standing up, lol.

PukiPukis pose beautifully, though! My biggest misgiving is that they’re so small that clothing (especially with sleeves) can look bulky on them (which is probably why we see them primarily in sundresses or even nude). I ordered a LittleFee Pukisha primarily so I can have that character and layer clothing properly.

 

@Dollquest Congrats on your Lami! So nice to see her in natural skin.

 

Oh, she's just lovely! I'm impatiently waiting for mine to ship, so it's nice to see some reaching their homes!!

 

Are you trying to find just a doll that will be a good baby for a Minifee, or specifically a fairyland doll as that baby?

 

I think probably a Fairyland doll, they have that certain look to them. I have a minifee vampire Ingrid I was hoping to find a cute little vampire baby for. So far the only one I think would would would be a Pukifee Tika. I'd be open to other suggestions though, as I've never really taken an interest in baby bjds before, so I don't really know what's out there.

 

I wanted a baby for my minifee too so I ordered a Dream Valley Ding. It hasn't come yet cuz their processing time is so long now I'm hoping it will be just right in terms of scale!

 

I wonder if these 7cm bitty babies could be done up to look more infant-y in the right clothes and such.

 

@AnnC - Your Iset is beautiful! The more I see tan skin the more I love it.

I ask only cuz they have a feeple sized sea-horse mermaid tail too.

Lol I feel you. Especially with Lami coming out earlier than expected it gives hope Phoebe will come quick too. I'm not really expecting my girl til August or later since.

As for the mermaid, maybe it could be a return of realfee Mari? That would be cute! I kinda hope if it's a minifee that the tail part has a fin like Mari. Even cooler would be if it's available separate like the centaur body. But who am I kidding? If she's a mermaid minifee with a pretty fullset she's coming home with me

 

We can hope! I've got a Minifee Seahorse tail I want to add a body to eventually and make her a mermaid, and the Fairyline bodies are the ones with the system designed for that.

 

Anybody got tan Ingrid's they care to share? I finally was able to put one on layaway with DDE. They had a Full Package still available since her release sale O.o I'm so excited because I get the event heads with it too! I thought for sure she would have sold out by now. I feel like she was waiting patiently just for me

 

I thought I would share a picture of my new girl. This is Guinevere, my BW Iset. I came into possession of her kind of by accident while looking to reshell my Luha and she now has all of my love.

 

Oh, she's super cute! Isets have such an adorable expression. I don't think I've seen one in BW before!

 

Thank you! I haven't either. My partner bought her but I fell in love with her so much when she arrived that they were kind enough to swap with me so I could keep her I love her sweet expression, and she looks good in everything which is amazing.

 

I'm curious. For the cutie body is it normal the the legs almost curve backwards when you sit them with straight legs? I had to put mine on a chair because her legs weirded me out just sitting on my shelf...

 

Yes, the Cutie legs have more a curve to them, so you might wish to engage the knees and bend them a little to get a more natural look.

 

Hi! I put in an order for Lucywen and Phoeb (a line) and am about to put in an order for Hwayu on the moe line body. On Denver Doll I noticed you can order extra feet... and I realized that I didn't order heel feet when I ordered Lucywen and Phoeb. Do Minifees come with flat and heel feet by default? Or do you always need to add on heel feet? Just curious before I place my order because I want all my girls to have heel feet! Especially for my moe line girl, the moe line heel feet are super adorable Thank you!

 

Some full set dolls have heel feet, but as far as I know the default for basic dolls is flat feet only.

I'm so underwhelmed I think I'm safe which is good cause I'm not supposed to be buying dolls anyway xD. Interested in seeing how the tail bends though because it seems oddly inflexible compared to a lot of their other things, the seahorse and some other mermaids on the market. The coral antler things are cool though. I wonder if they will release Mari with him again

 

I look forward to more news from them about this fish tail, it would be even better if there is a video showing the tail alone.

 

I'm surprisingly not all that interested in the new merman. And I love mermaids haha But I'm personally not into the color palette. I hope the tail will come in different colors. Cuz I like the fin, it's beautifully sculpted! I can't remember how past fairyline releases worked. Were the fantasy part available without buying the fullset? Or do you have to be all in, to get them?

@xxxsaturnxxx If I remember correctly, the A-line male body is 1cm taller than the Motion. However the Motion body looks taller since he is slim. That's how I felt anyway!

 

Where are you guys seeing the new info please? Is it an instagram thing?

That's what I'm afraid. I love mermaid and want one for a long time, but can't seem to find the one with good poseability.

The fairyline seahorse is the best I've seen in 1/4 range, but I like him to be a boy(If possible)... and the seahorse tail doesn't fit boy body... This new merman did give me some hope, but well we have to wait and see.

 

Do you think we’re going to get a re-release of the male A-Line body? I emailed Fairyland about it months ago and they said they’d do so the next time they released a new male Minifee. That’s all I care about, lol

 

If you’re not a Facebook user and want to see the new doll, Denver Doll Emporium posted the images to Instagram too. Not as fast to post the images, obviously, but they got them up not too long after.

 

@lully.lullers When I bought the Alicia fullset I don't thiiiink the tail was separately sold too, but they've been doing more of that recently so maybe it will be! I wish the bottom tail fin piece would have the same connector as the bottom seahorse tail piece so I could swap them out. And that it comes in more colors as you say!! But I'm fairly safe, I don't collect the boys...

 

Yeah they have offered some Fairyline pieces separately, which is hopefully them finally coming around to the idea that people will eagerly buy heads bodies and parts, and that offering those means more sales.

 

I think I may be safe from the tail as it doesn't look as pretty and colorful as the previous mermaid related tails but I may be in danger for the boy himself and the fullset outfit...

 

Oh, I am screwed. I love his face, and I actually do like the more subtle color palette. He is a veeeeerrry pretty boy.

 

I'm 100% doomed I love everything about him.

 

Denver Doll Emporium just got a bunch of new stuff in stock, including blank NS Phoebs!!

 

DenverDoll will be the death of me.

 

Also, as far as we know there aren't any photos of Phoeb in normal skin or tan skin? I feel like the photos of dolls with white skin and company faceup look very heavily blushed and kind of "too much" for me. But I also think it may be the contrast of the faceup against white skin. I thought the same thing about Lami - her white skin and white hair made her initially look very washed out but she is actually much cuter haha.

Edited to add that that's why I'm so excited for a DES faceup. I find the "older" faceup style to maybe be a little simpler, but with less heavy blushing on the cheeks and forehead. Also I don't think there was the tendency to have the blue blushing around the inner corner of the eye.

 

Not to change the topic suddenly but does anyone know what size S hook is used in the Minifee neck mechanism? I was restringing my girl for the first time and the S hook got bent and isn’t usable anymore.

 

To be honest, I don't know either. You can email fairyland to ask.

I think we don't suppose to remove S hook from the neck connector when restring? (Restrung my minifee like... 5-6 times and didn't remember I do that. This may vary in some types of body like the fairyline body? I guess) Anyway, if you could upload picture here, maybe someone with more knowledge than me could help

Fabulous! If they’re starting to trickle in then hopefully it won’t be too long a wait for mine (part of a split/group order and not from DDE).

Believe me @Nabbs, if I lived in the US instead of the UK Denver Doll Emporium and Fairyland would not only be the death of me, they’d be burying me in a doll box….probably Fairyland! Thankfully the shipping charges and customs tax mean I have to think before buying!

 

Denver Doll Emporium often carries new neck connectors, in case you want to just replace it. (They don't have to be in matching resin color because they're invisible when in the doll, I think DDE has NS ones.)
If not, someone handy with fine tools can possibly reshape an s-hook of similar wire gauge to the right shape for you. To get one, take the bits of the one you had to a hardware store and ask them for their tiny S-hooks.

 

One of the BJD news threads had a link for a craft store that bought out the remaining Monique wig stock. I snagged 3 and I'm so excited!!

 

Does anyone know if the tail of the Akis mermaid doll would fit any of the female bodies? I'm guessing no because it's for a male body but thought I'd see if anyone knows.

 

Still waiting for the detail. It's depend, since the centaur, faun legs had designed to fit both boy and girl torso, but seahorse, harpy etc doesn't work the same way. I don't know.

The only thing I could tell is "If the mermaid tail fit the female body too, they will surely release a female mermaid too in the future"

It's like what happened to centaur and faun, the egyptian set, the alice in wonderland set etc.
