Fairyland MiniFee MNF discussion part 58

Jun 1, 2016

    1. I would be interested to know also. I don't have any minifee boys or a moe with a cutie bust, my moe line girl has a large bust, but I did some research on minifee heads and different bodies in the hybrids threads and I didn't come upon any like the one you described. Taking a look at the fairyland site at the moe boy body I think I could imagine what you are thinking and I like it!:D

@Redrosette Its really nice to see how much you customized your girls. Your mirwen is beautiful, and your LTF is very cute. I think rendia would make a nice choice.
@auntbear Is her dress hand made? Very delicate knit work! Beautiful.

    2. Does anyone know why they haven't made a moe body with a smaller bust option? I really love the petite body, but the giant boobs are just too much for me. Do you think they will ever create more options like the active line body? Or did they used to have options and stopped making them?

    3. At one time they did A-line and M-line hybrids where they offered the other busts of the opposite lines for the A-line and the M-line bodies, so you could get an M-line hybrid with a cutie bust.
I've heard that Fairyland has said they will not be offering the hybrids in the future.
Now if you want that you'd have to order both an A-line with a cutie bust and an M-line and do the swap yourself.
I did it once and have given the M-line hybrid body to my VE Shushu (although it needs some yellowing to match her since she's much older than the body).
The A-line hybrid with the smaller of the Moe busts is nice if you're trying to do a look that involves a corset or any shirt/bra with full support under the boobs.

    4. You can also do a split with someone who wants a larger size for their A-line. That's how I got the different bust for my A-line, and kita8 is right, they don't look half bad.

    5. @beautiful_nightmare @auntbear That is a good suggestion and I do like Luka, I'm just concerned that her eyes will be too big next to Mirwen. My Siean and FLAM have that problem a bit, and while I'm happy to overlook it with them I think I might struggle with a mother daughter pair.

If anyone has a Mirwen and a Luka could they post a picture of them together for me?

EDIT: @Serdtse thank you! I loved making their wigs.

    6. My sweet Nanuri16 and her new face up ^^ hope you like

    7. So lovely!!! I'm thinking I may need to keep my Nanuri16. I've seen a few with faceups now, and I've gotten quite smitten with her. :)

    8. Hello, I just placed an order through DDE for my very first male minifee. I'm nervous because I have no idea what he will look like, so I was wondering if there is anyone out there that could share a picture of an A line tan minifee Mir? Thanks...I wonder how long it will take... 5 ish months?? Hmm

    9. I would love to see some Shushus and Miyus if you guys have pics!

    10. Congrats!! She's gorgeous!! And yes Des shimmer but it never shows up in photos! I actually swear mine looks completely different in photos.

    14. @xibita - she is gorgeous! I love the freckles across her nose. Please share pics once she is all dressed up -- would love to see more!

    17. Wow!!!! Absolutely stunning!!!!

    18. Thank you - most the credit does need to go to the lovely person who gave her the wonderful faceup and tatts (elisa_maza/AngelToast).

      Your girl is gorgeous.

    19. Did Raquel Clemente do the faceup for you @TeaPartyRevolution ? Or did AngelToast? How long does it take to get a spot for a commission? I always debate if I want to get my dolls blank, but then I hear that it can be really hard to get a commission spot. I also always worry about sending my doll too. Obviously it is so worth it though. She really is stunning. Her eyes are just unreal. I really need to just go for it and just wait and try to stalk and grab a spot from one of these talented artists. You are one lucky girl!

    20. Another picture of Chloe :)

    21. AngelToast (elisa_maza on DoA) did her faceup, tattoos and piercings. It doesn't take particularly long to get a slot with her, she tends to open on the 15th of each month, and you just need to send her an email. You can check out her website for more information (www.angeltoastdolls.com). I live in Australia and I have sent over 15-20 dolls/heads away for faceups over the years. I find that if you're worried, send them the most secure form of postage you know of; that way, even if it is a bit expensive, you are comforted that you have done as much as you can.

As for her eyes, they're 16mm Ersa Flora eyes - it was a fluke, because I actually had the eyes left over after I used the other two of each pair for one of my F65s who has a scarred eye (and thus needed a blank eye).

    24. Thank you everyone for your kind words about my DES <3

I have found a bit of wig trouble with her. The Leeke 6/7 that are recommended for Minifee barely fit and when I do get them on it looks as if there isn't enough hair. The Leeke 7/8 I have works almost perfect if she's wearing a wig cap but there is a TON of hair. I don't mind her having a ton of hair though so I guess it's just time to finish her clothing so I can share more photos and maybe make my own wig for her in the future.

    25. Oh Dear ! Unfortunately this is not my Chloe :( . This is Chloe belong to wrxgal .

    26. Oh yes, I had this exact problem. Mine is in a Monique 7/8 right now and it's better, but I also want to make her a wig so I get the exact look I want and hopefully downplay the size of her noggin.
Minifee heads have been getting smaller so Des being older doesn't the 6/7 rule doesn't apply.

    27. The Monique wigs in 6-7 fit Minifee and Littlefee equally well.

    28. All of the minifees on here are beautiful... Makes me excited to get mine, whenever that is!! Just started a new job, so that means more dolly stuff! Yay :)

    30. I tried a Monique 6/7 and it was a no go. I don't have a Monique 7/8 laying around so I'll have to look into that. For now though I think she's amazing. I just need to get off my lazy rear and sew/knit.

By the way if anyone wants any detail images of the FL60 MNF event head let me know. I'm kinda in love but I don't want to order a body till the next MNF tan event so I can order it with a tan Karsh:sweat

    31. Hello everyone! I don't think I've posted here already, so I haven't shown my lovely girl, Oleander! She was complete last year but I recently got a new camera which does her justice. I don't see many of the elf rin's around, but she is so pretty <3

I agree on the Leeke wig issue, the one my girl wears takes a lot of fiddling to look right.

    32. @Rivon she's beautiful! I love Rin so seeing an elf Rin makes me happy<3

    33. @MystinaRose thank you so much! :) I really like the rin sculpt too, so when I saw the event head I knew I had to get her eventually. Her size is so fun as well, really easy to plop down and snap photos of compared to my Iplehouse girl who feels like she weighs a ton when you're trying to get her into the right pose.

    34. @RedRibbon - Oh she looks so stylish! I LOVE that bag! <3

@MystinaRose - I don't know if you know this or not, but FL is actually offering tan for MNFs right now. They didn't make any kind of announcement, they just snuck them in there. :) I would love to see some photos of the event head if/when you have time! :)

@Rivon - Oleander is so cute! I love her elf ears! <3

    35. @magneticobsession Thank you :* I've been thinking about her style lately... I'm happy with her casuals buy I think one day I'd like to see her in laces... I suspect they might suit her :-3

    36. Everyone's MNFs are gorgeous! My Mio, Imogen, is ready for another day of Summer fun...

    38. @ArtOlli I love this set, too ^_^ The top and trousers are from my friend kawkana. She's very talented tailor :)

    39. I know that Tina has a pukifee and minifee version of the same character but does anyone have a minifee and littlefee version of the same character? I have a littlefee ante and I'm pondering making a teenage version of her too. I don't tend to tell stories - I rarely photograph them due to lack of interesting backdrops or photograpy skills! I just wondered if it would be a bit odd though.

    40. @smudge, I believe a friend of mine has a MSD and SD verison of one of her characters, but they are Luts, so I can reference them here. I don't think it's that odd a thing to do, though.

      • x 1
    41. @Pat in Ks Thank you so much!

@smudge I think a older version could be a lot of fun! I know I prefer photos of my bigger dolls because scale and such is much easier for me.

      • x 1
    42. @smudge I'm working on doing that myself - I have an LTF who I'd like to have a teen version of as well. She started as the child of one of MNFs, and is developing into a more grown character in her own right. I'd like to be able to still do things with her and her mother as well as her older self, hence having two dolls of the same character. If that's what you're going for it seems like a good plan to me!

Also, random spam of my Sully posing in her dark mori outfit I'm almost finished with:

    43. I have MiniFee and LittleFee versions of Lishe. I've posted this before, probably on an older thread, so here is the photo again:

    44. Thanks everyone. Redrosette, that;s kind of what I was thinking. I wanted to see what her future self would be like. Really, I ought to start writing background stories for the dolls that I already have. Perhaps once I do that I can see where my teenage Fern's story would go.
Vermont Chick, I was thinking more of the same mould being an older version of the same character but your two Lishes are lovely.

    45. That should be easy enough to do by giving them the same hair and eye color. I offered this photo merely as an example of the younger and older sculpts together.:)

    46. It might sound crazy, but I feel so blessed to own these two dolls. They have brought me so much joy over the past few months. I'm so so glad to be in this hobby! <3

I haven't posted my Misha (Michelle) Chloe for ages I think, so here she is kinda cosplaying :XD:

    48. What's the longest time you've had to wait for your MNF after ordering?
I ordered one from DDE about a month ago and I'm starting to tire of waiting. :/

    49. I waited 5 months for my Fairyline Rendia and while I would have liked to have had her sooner, it was no big deal.

    50. Thank you so much @Annaku! <3

@dragolivia I waited exactly 9 weeks & 6 days to get my shipping notice from DDE for my Rheia.

    51. @dragolivia, my DDE order took just over 5 weeks. Fingers crossed that you're getting close. :)

    52. Ok, thanks! So it could take anywhere from 1- 2.5 months then?

    53. Fairyland's gotten faster at getting dolls out, even during event periods. My last doll from them took about 2 months through DDE, and that was a fullset doll ordered during an event.

    54. Hi Fairyland experts, a couple of question from a Fairyland newbie here.

      1. What's the difference between MNF girl and boy feet? Is it noticeable?

      2. Are the feet for the various lines all the same? For instance, there's not a specific m-line foot vs an a-line foot, is there?

      Thanks! :)

    55. I don't know if you got your answer but as I was reading this tread trough I found it... Here's a photo of my Moe girl with Cutie bust.
Sorry I won't be posting a full photo, ^^; I ordered in the Hybrid order the one time they did it and I was super happy for my dolls.

    56. 1. I need to go and check! I think they are both the same.
      2. There is a definite difference here. The moe line foot is smaller. If you look on Fairyland's website they have measurement charts and that will give you the exact sizes.
