Fairyland MiniFee MNF discussion part 58

I had already at that point. I wasn't talking about it magically happening for me, I was referring to the fact that several hours after an event launch I was the only one to add onto the list.
I was wondering if maybe the waitlist was not getting updated because people didn't care about it anymore, or there was a problem with it.

 

Thank you so much. I seem to sell or neglect all my other dolls and yet he is always the last one standing. I hope that can change in the future though.

I also second the notion for more Male Minifee spam .

 

I think most people that order don't use the waitlist or waiting rooms. I, for one, don't use the waiting list or waiting rooms.

 

I sent a message asking FL what they chose to name the new event head. The response was kinda funny:

Dear kita8,

Thank you for your interest for 2016 Halloween event heads.

You may perhaps realised already but we've nearly ran out of event head names. @_@;

We haven't named our event gift head/faceplate this time but will try our best to come up with short and memorable name next time.

I guess MNF Renewal Event Head will be best.

 

So if they don't have a name what will the head say on the inside?

 

Lol, I think we all kind of realized that some time ago XD!

@pettook probably the same as the last Halloween event head, which just has 'Halloween event' and fairyland/cp inside.

 

I think the event head looks a lot like the FLAM head with Elf ears.

Also I was just looking at their image blog at the renewal comparison and I think they may have fixed the issue the cutie legs have! Obviously don't know for sure but it seems the issue is one of the legs bends in a way that makes it shorter but it looks like they fixed that. Hope that is the case as I love the cutie legs but the posing could be a little difficult sometimes.

 

I'm hoping to find the event head in the marketplace after, Ria is pretty but reminds me of too many other sculpts. I have a minifee miyu head on layaway and body will be ordered soon so i'm excited as it will be my first minifee.

 

I'm not using the database/waiting room thread anymore. The database doesn't help me--at this point I have a good idea of how long my orders take, and in both cases I feel like they just make me more anxious. I also used to over-shop when I was using the waiting room thread. I'd rather use that energy on the dolls I already have or on more carefully planning a look.

I do keep a list, including orders, in my profile.

I'm kind of calling the new event head the MNF RE 16 for renewal event. Funny Fairyland doesn't know what to call it. Maybe Halloween 16?

 

I stopped using the waiting room lists a long time ago. The waiting rooms stopped being interesting when they became all about the lists.

 

Gotta agree somewhat, I like the discussion and excitement of waiting for a new doll. It's nice to have a list to reference, but I feel the discussion is much more interesting. IMO at least.

 

Isn't there a separate waiting list thread and a waiting room thread? I thought there was. So it's not like the list is in the discussion thread anymore really. My only reason I like people adding to it is in case of weird things happening where you doll isn't shipping and everyone else is getting their dolls, you can at least reference the list and see if something strange might be going on. If everyone long after you is getting their doll, something might be up and then you can proceed to panic. But I know not everyone uses them so you also have to wonder how many other people may have ordered at the same time as you that aren't on the list and may not be getting their dolls either. I suppose some companies have a pretty standard wait time right now so it doesn't feel necessary. I know that for me, I check the spiritdoll waitlist every day because I'm so lost as to why my doll hasn't shipped. I will start panicing soon if more people who have ordered after me start getting their dolls. But everyone does their own thing in the hobby. I personally like the waitlists. It's fun to see what everyone ordered. I just wish if you did use it that you remembered to update it when you received your doll.

 

Question, has anyone ever looked at the a la carte M-line boy body and notice that the hands displayed on their picture at the bottom is not available in the option? I thought they were #9 but they are different. The nails are also not as long as the 9's and look more masculine. I wonder why Fairyland never released them?

I looked at Mir and Mika's fullset but it says they came with number 7 hands but the ones in the A la Carte look different. They could be #3 hands though

 

They do look very different, but I think they actually might be #3. However it would be nice if they had more masculine hands available. How interesting that they look so different in that photo. I think your guess is a good one though and that they are probably #3.

 

It's possible that it is #3 they probably just named them wrong. Kinda wish they did sculpted more hands though
