That sucks! Did you pay through PayPal? Or ask for a COA/proof of legitimacy? I suggest communicating with the seller if they cannot prove she is legit, and the listing claims her to be such you should be able to return her or open a PayPal claim if the seller is being unreasonable. I do suggest re reading the sales post just to be sure and then calmly communicating with the seller before leaping to a claim, you have 90 days to claim. Stay calm, they may not themselves know they sold a fake (if that is the case).
I do not personally know enough about minifee to verify legit/recast, sorry. Luck to you.

I have sorted 90% of the issue and got my money back right away, I just cannot believe how crazy the whole situation has ended up being. I wish I could say more right now, but I have to wait until the PayPal claim for the previous owner is finished It's been such a horrible day !

Also, the claim period is actually 6 months now ! It changed from 40 days, to 90 days, now it's 6 months.

I have a question. I recently bought a used a-line minifee. The seller told me she had a broken neck piece. She was a decent price for a used and yellowed doll and she has a very nice faceup. I figured I could order a new neck piece eventually because the broken part was just the round bit over the hook on the latch piece. But, once I got the doll, I realized that she is missing the ball that goes under the ring inside of her neck. I've asked at Denver Doll if they carry that ball piece but they say they do not and cannot get one.

Any ideas how I can replace this ball part?

You can try to contact Fairyland and ask them, but they will usually ask for the certificate number (assuming the doll has one). Since it's an older doll, I think they ask for the order number. My other suggestion would be to try and make the part that is missing out of clay or apoxie sculpt.

 

Hmm. I asked at Denver Doll and she said they didn't have any and couldn't order them so I went directly to Fairyland and asked there. We will see what they say.

As I bought this doll second hand and she didn't come with COA, I may have to resort to that. Thanks for responding.

Hellow guys! I recently bought my first FL bjd, a sia, I love him a lot but the 2 female pieces I got are so thin light shinnes through...I never had a FL before so is this thin resin normal, (i just never had resin this thin). Or should I try to get replacement pieces? Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

 

Hi Dulce, your Sia is on the Fairyline body so off topic to this thread and should be discussed in the Fairyline thread. The bust pieces are really thin on that body so that the magnets on the inner torso joint will work and therefore it is unlikely Fairyland will replace them.

 

Hi! I plan on buying a moe-line mnf but I'm worried about finding shoes that fit, do you guys/girls know any places I can find shoes that will fit for my upcoming girl?

I also have the mag-on heel feet and resin heel shoes that Fairyland makes. DDE frequently has the feet and the shoes in stock.

Coco and Mimi are both on moe line bodies and are modeling the options I described.

 

@ My Siean is on a body I purchased secondhand that had been hybrided, so I had to by the neck piece separately. I have yet to be able to get the ball to fit in the doll, so it sits in a box and my girl goes without. As far as I can tell her posing is no different from my girls who I bought from Fairyland myself, so if you're happy with your doll's posing I wouldn't worry about it.

 

Her posing is not horrible, per se, but she does have a tendency to snap her head backward or forward without warning. Which was my indicator that something may be amiss. Her head is marked 2014 and I'm assuming her body is the original based on the fact that the yellowing is even across both. I doubt the A-line neck mechanism has changed much since she was made but perhaps a new one will resolve some of the issues she has even without the ball.

Incidentally, Fairyland did ask for a CoA or order number and as I purchased her used and without CoA, there's not much I can do there.

 

I finally got the bodies for my girls yesterday! I'm so glad to finally have them whole! I'd like to introduce Astrid and Nadia (though I did share a blurry pic of Nadia the other day after she stole the body of one of my other girls)
