I need more space too. I have no idea where to place my incomming mermaid.

Nightshade could the difference be because one have model legs and one have cutie legs? I think there's a little difference in length. Or could Shushu be on an old B-line body? I don't know if they are taller.

I've been wanting some tattoos for my Rheia, do you just send bits of the body off to the customizer? I've never re-strung or un-strung a MNF before so I'm scared to do it ! Lol.

Oh, enjoy them. Yes I bought them strait from 9nine I don't think there is anywhere else to get them. If there is someplace less expensive I would love to know.

Woohoo! Just got my invoice, my tan Chloe has arrived! I can't wait, she will be my first tan MNF! Although, I'm going to have to do some damage controll, I just got another boy from the marketplace, and my fiance is noticing the MNF army is growing.... I have got to stay out of the marketplace.

 

She's a very cool girl! I look forward to seeing her in her new wig. Congratulations on the new addition.

I did a little photoshoot with Lilith a few days ago, but I've been so busy with school that I haven't had time to post anything until now! I got this dress made for her in a trade a little while ago and it suits her so well. I love the length in the back! I need to give it an iron though, it got a little wrinkly in the mail.

Your work is magnificent! What materials do you use?

 

Are we ever getting those standards back from FL, or? I saw the note they made some time ago, but have they given us any kind notice since then?

 

@Artemos if you are referring to the sculpts who are "unavailable due to maintenance" I believe someone recently emailed them and they replied that apparently it was a bit more work than they anticipated and that they are re-configuring the head magnets and such so it still may be a while before they re-introduce them.

@Vanille, ^u^ Thank you so much as well! And yes, generally speaking you would just ship the individual piece(s) where you'd want the tattoos to the artist. Its was super easy for me when I did the tattoo on my girls chest piece because its an F-line body and it just pops right off but there are lots of tutorials and diagrams around DoA that show how to restring dolls in general and Minifees as well. You can also reference your Minifee manuals if you still have them c:

@Syrill, ^w^ Aww, thanks so much, i'm flattered you say that! And I use all of the standard faceup stuff, MSC, chalk pastels, colored/watercolor pencils, pearl powders, etc. ; nothing too special really. I personally haaaaate paintbrushes/paint so I stick to pencils for almost everything (Been using them for illustration for 7+ years so it comes natural haha) but I think most people have an easier time with paint than I do~ c:

 

Fairyland/CP is releasing an anime style doll of the character "Minami Kotori" from one of my favourite animes "LoveLive! School Idol Project." She will be limited to 20 sets and will not be sold on the Fairyland website but only in person at Wonder Festival in i believe Japan. She is super cute and you can read about her in Fairyland's blog post aswell as enjoy a video of her on their youtube!

Popping by real quick to drop off a photo of Clover wearing her future little sister's wig! It's a LTF wig so of course it doesn't fit Clover even a little bit, but I really wanted to see it on a doll, hehe. It's from Frappzilla Studio and I'm really impressed with the softness of the fiber!

Does anyone happen to own a 2014 Juri? I've been trying to find owner photos, but seems like '13 and '08 are much more popular. There's a really cute Juri head for sale that I'm kinda on the fence about. ^^;

 

I currently have one, but she doesn't have a faceup yet. I agree - they are super cute. I think part of the problem is that they are the ones with the neck hole issue.

 

I have a Juri'14! I got her neck hole modded by Vitta-Vera a few months ago so that she actually fits on her body. If it weren't for the neck issue, I'd get another one because Soony is my favourite CP sculpt and I'd love to have twins.

 

I've been waiting for my Juri 14's (Soony) body to arrive before sharing her but customs have held my bodies hostage for 2 weeks and they won't be here until Wednesday so I ended up stealing my Liria's body temporarily to share her. This is Nadia (sorry it's a bit blurry):

I'm so very happy I have a RFA head laying in a box. Some day when Fairyland don't put up new dolls I simply HAVE to buy (Sometimes I hate Fairyland. LOL) I'll get nher a face-up and a body.

ForgetMeNot that's a very beautiful wig. It'll be interrewsting to see how Clover will look with a face-up and her own wig (and eyes?)

I have been having a problem with my Chloe. I have tried a lot of wigs on her but none of them just creamed at me that they were the right one. Problem is she looks good in most wigs. However now I think I've found her permant wig.

I just wanted to share my regency era Mirwen's progress. The sleeping head arrived a few days ago, and the gown arrived today. The open eye head and wig are at AngelToast's awaiting a faceup, so I will need to send this head off, too, but I just had to dress her up.

I love Sophie's whole look. The eyes and wig are really nice. What size eye did you use? Mirwen's eyes are pretty small. But I just love Mirwens.

Ugh, I'm so worried ! I bought a NS MiniFee Moe body for my Chloe on a Facebook BST, it's arrived but has no magnets in the shoulders and just doesn't seem like my other Moe bodies colour or texture wise... Is it meant to have magnets? From what I remember it is

Edit: She doesn't have magnets in her shoulders OR the base of her back (for a tail?) so it can't just be a bust swap.

 

Thanks @albeli. She is wearing 12mm Makos. I keep wavering between that and 14mm for her The 14mm give her a more innocent look and the 12mm seem to make her look slightly more serious I think

 

The Moe body should have both those magnets, I'd hate to say it but it sounds like you got a recast :/

She's gorgeous. I think Nanuri 14 is my favourite sculpt.

As I am replying to a post a few pages back from the current page I can't see who asked about Soony. I've owned three and currently have two. 2/3 of mine only fitted the moe line body. It can be resolved by carving etc if you are that way inclined!

Does anyone know where I can get minifee earrings? I saw some on etsy but they were modelled on a bigger doll so I wasn't sure of the scale. Failing that - how hard are they to make?

 

Everyone's dolls are so pretty! You guys are always winning me over to sculpts I didn't like before with your gorgeous face ups/styling.

Update on my modded Miyu girl: playing around with wigs while embroidery on her outfit takes forever.
