@Loodles Haha, I bet you count heads everytime. But it's quite fun to know how much someone loves a particular doll (even if it means having to check if they are all there still)

 

Your girls are beautiful and I have been looking at their shoes for a bit debating. But now I think I will give them a try!

Ever since October ive been searching and searching for the perfect MSD boy for my character Ren thats at least 45cm to pair well with my Minifee NF hybrid Zoe/Ellie (still havent decided on her name yet) which ive had absolutely no luck with! So lately ive been thinking....what if this is a sign that my girl shouldn't be paired with a boy afterall? In my story Ellie/Zoe has always had a best friend (Riley) who has this sort of amusing/childish crush on her whose also very tom boyish/quite unfenimine. I always imagined Riley to be a Minifee Luka and....I think my next doll will have to be Minifee Luka! Not only does this fix my 'finding the perfect boy' problem but it also fixes the height issue ive been having due to Zoe/Ellie's tall spiritdoll body! All i have to do is switch Riley and Zoe/Ellie's bodies and BOOM! Zoe/Ellie is now shorter than her lover! What do you guys think? I feel kind of sad for Ren but I think i can easily change the roles/characters for Riley and Ren around!

My new mnf is just arrived! she is still waiting to be shipped for her new face up..and I'm in desperate need of shoes..as she doesn't have any yet! ;P
After a long serch I decided for this pair ..


I've seen a lot of picture of minifee wearing them..but wen I went on Nine9 Style website I found out that the MSD size has the same measurements of the SD size..they are both 7,5 cm

..so ..my question is..are they gonna fit?? or are they gonna be too large????

I had these for Sen, but personally found them to be too big on her. Looked a bit chunky on her feet. But they do fit, even if a bit big. It's about personal preference if you like them or not, I've seen various people use them for Minifee, and they really are very pretty boots!

I also have those boots, @.lilli. The 7.5cm measurement is wrong, as the boots are closer to 6cm. As @Hananya says, they do fit but they look big on MiniFee. You would definitely want to pair them with stockings or socks. Actually, I find they look better on my Narae, whose feet are slightly bigger.

@LuckyXIII Thanks! No, I'm still not sure what to call her even this deep in the process. :P I've started body blushing, making a custom wig, and embroidering clothing but no name. This has never happened to me! Any suggestions are more than welcome.

I think you'll really like summomo's shies. They fit incredibly well. And she's so nice to work with. I'm up to 6 pairs Moe and 1ltf) now, and plan to order some in A line size.

That's awesome will she get a wig or stay bald? I like her with no hair. I cant wait to see her finished.

@Loodles I'm working on customizing a wig for her. I'm starting with a two tone long leeke wig and have begun braiding, twisting, and sewing things into place. I also like her bald, so I'll probably paint her head cap to match a little better (the head started pretty yellowed) so I have that option. With hair or without she's getting some headdress stuff.

@Marha She's adorable! I really love third eyes on dreamy sculpts. What's your plan for her face up?

Actually I don't know x'D I don't even know if that's the clothing style I want for her.. Only thing I know is the name, eyes and hair is right ;D I also want a cyclops friend whose name will be Ane.

@Redrosette Yes! Actually! x'D I was going to mod Tria into a cyclops but I wanted to practice making an eye first.. I am thinking of making an Eliya, Ante or some random sleeping head I find cute XD I love cyclops!

 

@Marha I want to do this too! Let's be odd eye MNF buddies. I was thinking of a sleeping head, maybe a Karsh, Mio or Kai? So hard to decide.

 

@Redrosette Yaaaay! 8D We do agree that a sleeping head world be the best option right? ;D I never worked with miliput (or sculpey or what it is called?).. I was thinking Eliya because I will soon get an Eliya and then it would be an easy add on to my order XD But I really wish I could score a SP head for cheap somewhere ^^
Karsh, Mio or Kai would be really cute! I would love to get a Mio for this project~~ But I haven't seen them for cheap anywhere..

 

@Marha Yes, an SP head would make things much easier as there'd be way less to fill in. My plan was to us Milliput (or apoxie sculpt, but don't use sculpey. It has to be baked to set and is much more fragile. Milliput and Apoxie Sculpt air dry and are much stronger. I drill and sand them easily.) to make the place where the eyes are flush with the forehead/cheeks. Then I draw and drill the basic eye socket and can carve the lids in as well.

I know, Mios can be hard to come by cheap, which is fair. There's a Kyle SP on the Marketplace for $35 right now if you like that sculpt. I should look at the event heads I have from FL and other orders and see if any of them catch my cyclops fancy.

 

@Redrosette Yes! x'D I couldn't remember the names but I knew the difference :P
I saw the Kyle but I don't reaaaally like that sculpt (the lips bug me a bit).. I was thinking of using my RFA head for the cyclops because no one seem to want to buy it x'D But then I really have work with Milliput or Apoxie x'D

 

@Marha I think an RFA would make an excellent cyclops as her eyes are pretty low on the head anyway. It'll take more clay, but since you don't need to care about how the eye shape comes out I think it'll be pretty eyes as modding eye shapes goes. You should totally try! You can layer and sand both Milliput and Apoxie, so even if your first try isn't perfect you can keep tweaking it until you're happy.

As was said they are big on minifee feet but they are absolutely gorgeous. I'm picky about shoe scale for my girls but I own a pair and refuse to let the chunkyness bother me because of how much I like them.

 

Would it be too much trouble for me to ask for Rheia spam? It'd be cool to see her without a faceup specifically. Thanks in advance!

BTW you can always see the blank heads if you go into A La Carte at Fairyland. All the head are there blank even though the pictures aren't that big.

My Liria came home from the face up artist today! I just finished making her a wig but I had taken a couple of pictures earlier because I was so excited [Not so great editing, but I couldn't resist...]! I can't wait for her wig to dry so I can get some in that! Yay, I am just so thrilled with her!!!

Lately I've been neglecting my poor Rheia and working on my Mio. Does anyone else have any modded Mios? I've only seen a couple!

Thank you. I think your Rheia is very beautiful too. (On the other hand a Rheia would have trouble NOT being beautiful. LOL) I just love how the feather in her eayring is the same colour as her eyeshadow.

I'm thinking I'll either have to airbrush a very light amount of red onto my Juri 08 to get rid of the greening, or dye her a very light amount of red.

As to the number of dolls... I was foolish to think Chloe and Celine would be enough...
I've still got Luka on my list, and I can't decide on NS or TS, so I might wind up going the route I want to go with Celine and get both!

It's great to see all the Rheias in here. She's definitely one of my favorites. Who knows, maybe one day she'll show up in NS in my collection, too.
I need more storage space. A doll room would be nice.

My Minifee body came in the post this week so RFA floating head is a complete girl She is borrowing a wig and I am not sure about the eyes but we will see what happens when she has her faceup done in March, that always finally gives me an idea of their proper character.
One thing I have found interesting is that she is shorter than my Shushu.
Shushu is from 2008 and the newer body from about 2013 from what the seller said but there is a notable difference in their heights.

Count me in for more space, too---I'm out of shelves in my cabinet. A doll room is def' on my "maybe someday" list, ideally full of dioramas.

And I love Luka, If I ever buy one I'll most likely order the sculpt as a boy, though. Always been smitten with @Emmaboo's handsome Seth.

Congrats on your RFA's new body! Is it perhaps a Moe line? I know those are a few cms shorter than A-Line. (I don't know if the M-Line was released before or after 2013, though.)

Anyways, i've kind of mostly been sticking to the F-line thread for a while since my Minifee Luka got upgraded to their lovely seahorse body and I guess its sort of a grey area where the proper place is to post a Minifee head on a F-line body is. But I hope its alright to share my Minifee FLAM event head, Rift, here despite her borrowing the human F-line body for now~ I've seen only a handful and only two or three with faceups so I thought it would be helpful to add mine here at least c:
I've modded her eyes to be smaller and her nose sanded to be more pointy and "fox like" in addition to doing her faceup and "tattoo". ^U^ I'm super happy I decided to keep mine because especially with a bit of modification I think she has lots of potential
