She is very unusual, but I really like her, there is something haunting about her.

i have the same problem with trying to find some where suitable to take photos. Her outfit is amazing. I think she looks like she is ready to fight a for who has got her backed up against the wall. My youngest is on a school trip and has taken the first Percy Jackson book with him. I'm hoping he will get sucked into it!

 

I have a pic of my NS Celine with the default face-up wearing 12mm Makos.

I also found bjds by "accident". I was looking for a repaint artists and a few of my faves, began posting pics of bjds they'd painted and I fell really hard. I revamped from a collection of sds (delf), back when minifee moved from Luts to Fairyland and the a-line bodies became available. I've been in msd heaven ever since

Bought a minifee on Facebook from a lovely person. More then I wanted to spend first. But she is so lovely. It will be a Chloe in NS, Aline, Big Bust and Model legs.

 

I love the Liria mermaid, and the 2nd one is so sweet! All very pretty.

Congrats! You'll love her.

 

How could I not? A TS Mirwen was my very first MNF, after all.

My Mirwen's not tan, but sharing in the love for the sculpt. She can look so different depending on her faceup.

 

Here's my Sophia. I've been seriously considering getting a new face up for her. I don't know if other people have had this issue but for some reason my Mio had a fairyland default face-up that has way to much blue on the chin and it's always bothered me. I absolutely love the way Sophia looks with this dress although it doesn't particularly fit her character.

I completely agree with you! It will be cool to see what they are doing! And for Mirwen's they really are a great sculpt! I had a tan one, but some unfortunate things happened with her, so all I can share is my lovely NS one!

Wow, that's weird. I believe I've heard someone else with the same problem. My WS Mio has the default faceup, but no blue on her chin.

I am loving all the Chloe and Celine spam! I am dying to get my girls! Chloe is on order with DDE and it seems like she won't even get here during my lifetime, and a mod Celine (minimized lower lip) is shipping from Norway as of yesterday. Both are NS m line with glamour busts, but they will have different hands. They are going to be sisters.

I've ordered wigs, several outfits for each (dresses, crochet tops, shorts, skirts), as well as ballet flats in moe size from summomo82 on etsy.

Also so loving the Mirwen spam. She's so lovely, and is definitely a versatile sculpt, but I don't think I have room in my doll family for her at the moment.

I do have a Fairyland doll arriving today, a LTF Leah with a gorgeous Pearls of Danube faceup, so I'm going to send my Bonnie to her for a new faceup, too, so they will have the same type of look. Also sisters.

All four, 2 MNfs and 2 LTFs, will be sisters. I was going to do mom/daughters, but my 9 year old said no, they should all be sisters--probably because she is my youngest at 9, and her sister is 20 and brother is 23! Huge age gap. Yes, I just outed myself as an old.

I'm really regretting buying Chloe and Bonnie with default faceups. I'm planning to eventually send my MNFs out one at a time for custom faceups from burnt toast or Pearls of Danube as well. From now on, if I take in more dolls, they will be blank.

 

So the new line up will be mermaids?

I am happy to be able to join this thread - here is my Chloe, her name is Max and she has a face-up by me Max has her septum pierced incase you were wondering what is on her nose.
I almost sold her but am so happy I gave customizing her a go because I really love her now.

I'm just getting back into the hobby after a few years of not doing anything with my dolls. My Ryeon is off getting a new faceup and I have Soony on the way home, so I'm really really excited!
I used to have a Delf Soony, but I've learned that anything bigger than an MSD is just too much for me to handle. So I got really excited when I found out that last year's Juri was a Soony. I'm glad I'm finally able to get my dream sculpt in a more manageable size.

Horray my Karsh is here!! And I got a ws Ante who's body will go toward my Chloe vampire elf! She'll need a face up and will join my army of heads lol. Do you think tan skin will be offered storewide at FL for the upcoming event? do they normally offer tan skin during xmas event? i still havent bought a doll direct from FL but im getting close!!

 

Fairyland is a bit unpredictable with when they offer tan skin. The past few events have offered tan skin, but some things during each event were excluded from the tan.

@Loodles We used EMS. It was a huge group order. 23 pairs. I hosted and we had enough eyes to get free shipping. I love hosting GOs. And I bought a pair secondhand for my newest boy from here lol
