no, her faceup is by culur -- the artist's name is Leilah, and I named my doll after her. She is a dreaming modded rin, it was an event head. I'm so glad you like her! woot!

I can always spot a culur face-up, she has such a cute/distinct eye-style @sher that bandage is adorable and so is your Rin !

I have not been feeling well today. I came down with a bad cold, sinus stuff. My hubby got the mail, and look who came.. it was a big surprise! Such gorgeous dolls here.... love the minifee's!

 

Your Elf Rin is so beautiful @sher !!! I have a soft spot for Elf Rin since my own little whirlwind came home and caught me by surprise xD

Anyway... I've been obsessing over my latest creation... a MSD-sized gryphon named Hyperion! He's not done yet since he's missing his feathers! But here he is with Vienna (Hyperion's owner is Chrom, Vienna's royal guard/love interest)!

I bought a dollheart set when I ordered some fukubuku bags and I though that the dress will be to big but tried it on. (the dress in the lucky bag was to big, but not this one) My doll will not change her clothing for some time!

After being around for over a year, my Chloe finally has half an outfit \o/

 

I'm in big trouble.... Ren tried on her baby sister Yukio's leeke wig and now I want this style in black for her:

That style box wig looks amazing on her! It really frames her face well. That tattoo on her arm is a lotus flower, Yeah? Its so beautiful.

Does anyone know whether there is a difference between the original Luts Shushu sculpt and the Fairyland one?
I thought I had read something about the eyeshape being different but I can't find any information on it.

 

I don't have a Fairyland ShuShu, but if this helps, here's a photo of my CP/Luts ShuShu elf, Keheley (sporting her new wig). You can see her eye shape well because I've been hesitant to risk her faceup by putting in lashes (I believe the faceup artist has retired).

 

Don't know if this will end up on the same page, but here's a FairyLand ShuShu for comparison with Kirahfaye's CP Luts ShuShu elf.

 

Okay here's a larger close up. The eyes are close, but Keheley's look to be a bit more rectangular to me. Also, while Keheley's upper lip might appear "plumper" that's because the faceup artist painted the bow of her lip above her lip line.

It is very hard to see a difference, and if it seems so the face-up might have a part in it. Kirahfaye, your Shushu's eyes do look a bit more rectangular, though if there really is a difference it seems minimal.

 

One other thing - I don't know if @vermont chick's is human or elf, but I think there's a slight difference in those sculpts also. I have a friend who also has a ShuShu, but she's unsure if it's a CP/Luts or Fairyland. She'll check when she gets home from work. We are meeting up at the Doll con this weekend, so perhaps we can take photos of them if they are different versions.

 

That's a very sweet offer, but you really don't have to go out of your way for me or aything. The reason I asked this question is because there is a Shushu head up for sale on the marketplace which is from Luts, and I just wanted to know whether there was anything known about any differences between that one and the Fairyland one. Not that I would care that much, as long as the differences aren't that great, which they don't seem to be
I have been searching for a Shushu head for a while now and with fairyland not having a projected date on which the currently unavailable heads will return, I think I'll go for that one, even though she's from 2011 ^^

@Azra-Elle I think I actually bought the body that goes with that ShuShu on the MP, so we might end up owning half a doll each ! Lol ShuShu is such a gorgeous sculpt though

 

@Azra-Elle I feel like such a dolt. I just checked her headplate and Keheley is a Fairyland (2008). Sometimes I get things in my head and really need to double check myself - it was her (old) body that wad Luts. Since CP is Fairyland, there's a good chance the only difference is between the elf and the human sculpts.

 

Whelp I just ordered a tan Liria from Denver Doll from their in stock batch... And here I was saying no more Minifees!

Dropping in with a quick question: anyone happen to have photos of Moe legs on an A-line torso, or know where I could find some?

I'd prefer to have my Juri 13 a little on the short side, but I'm not willing to sacrifice the hip joint and go for a complete Moe body. I have an F-Line body coming in for her now and I'm hoping it would be possible to swap F-line legs with Moe legs... I'm pretty sure I have seen photos of Moe legs on an A-line torso before, but I haven't been able to find those pictures again!

 

@Animethemed where did she come from?!? that's amazing! horray for anyone that wanted her and missed out on her!

 

I have no idea! Maybe they had a lot of cancellations/people that didn't fulfill their layaways?

I really hope I like her. I've been having a love/hate relationship with her sculpt, but I figured why not try it out while it is a possibility? Hehe, that pushed back my other doll plans for a short bit, but that's alright!

 

She's human. I was going to suggest there might be a slight difference between human and elf.

Be careful about getting Liria because she's lmiited. I did that and within just a couple of days of having her home I regretted it and ended up rehoming her.

No, I did not end up replacing her head... I did not really have a character for her to being with. I was never really crazy about her head sculpt. I mostly just wanted her for the outfit :P

 

Had a Liria in my cart, exactly the options I would want for her, but forgot to press submit Didn't realize for like 10 minutes
I would've needed to put her on layaway and it would've been really tight especially with Christmas coming up, so it's probably for the best, but I'm kicking myself for being so silly

I feel like Denver Doll knew I wanted a Liria.. I was so happy this morning when I woke up and saw their post. I frantically selected a NS Moe Liria and threw her on layaway. I know I wont have her really soon, but I'm so excited I got her.. I've been so giddy all day about it. It's like a dream come true. She'll probably be considered my Christmas present and I am a-okay with that!

It kinda made me laugh a little that I had just posted about waiting for a Liria a few days ago and this happened.

Congrats to whoever else snagged a Liria!

 

I'm glad everyone got their Lirias - she was tempting but not really in my plans. Enjoy her!

I don't usually request spam but I'm just so excited! I am being gifted a MNF NF head, my only remaining actual, I cry every time I see them and they're not mine, grail doll. I literally sobbed when I received the email and I shake every time I think on it (it's been an emotional time, LOL!). So, is it okay to request some spam of MNF NF heads? Thanks!

 

There's only a handful of artists work I can recognize just from looking at photos alone, but Angeltoast is totally one of them~ She looks amazing @Loodles !
