Fairyland LittleFee Discussion Thread - Part 30

Does anyone have any pictures of a littlefee sonny? I would love to see some.

 

Do you mean Soony? There aren't many around, I think because they only released a Dreaming Soony and most people prefer opened eyes. @Bluemoonjules has one, she has the dreaming faceplate and used to have a modded one (eyes modded open). I currently have one off getting modded and faceupped now but I won't have pics for a while.

 

She has a cousin. Their moms were identical twins and they were born on the same day. Sadly he cousin doesn't have a body - at least not yet. I first named her cousin and her name is Penny. So I thought of what to call the other one and suddenly her name just was Shilling. I really didn't get to choose.

Penny and Shilling are great names Dustbunnie! You could have a Farthing, Ha'penny, and even a Sixpence too

 

I did think of naming a MiniFee Pound but if I end up getting another PukiFee at one point I could name him or her Farthing. LOL

On another note my LittleFee Baby Juri 2013 Stapes (two syllables) just got home from a vacation in Spain. She had a wonderful time and enjoyed the nice weather. She also returned with a lot of new clothes. Here she is in one of the new outfits.

Is it me or has she gotten a very slight tan while in Spain?

I would LOVE to have a baby body for my Bonnie, Bibi. That body is adorable and I can't understand why they stopped offering it.

Bibi should be coming back from her trip to AngelToast sometime this month. I'm dying to see how she's going to look with a new faceup.

I also ordered a LTF Chloe from DDE that should be arriving sometime this month (I hope), but she will also be blank.

 

i don't think it sold as well as they hoped right at first. the baby sculpts weren't super well received. it wasn't till people started customizing the faces or putting littlefee sculpts on them that people started really seeing the potential and by then fairyland had stopped making them

 

That stinks.

The Bonnie and Leah sculpts look less mature than say, the LTF Chloe sculpt. I'd put Bonnie and Leah on baby bodies if I could.

I think the problem with the baby body was that it was never offered with all the other LittleFee faces. Not many people fell in love with Ruru or Rara. Personally I really love Stapes but I don't think I would get another Baby body even if I could.

I've always thought the same. I almost considered the baby body for Edward (would have been fun to make him shorter than the others!), but the price being almost the same as a standard LTF once I added the mobility options, and the fact that I couldn't just order it with the Shiwoo faceplate, was a turnoff, so I never got one. I might consider one in the future, still, but only if I had choices of other faces, not just Ruru and Rara. If they opened the body back up with choices of all the LTF faceplates, they'd probably sell fine.

 

Every morning another company posts a winter event but still no Fairyland! I hope it gets announced soon. I'm ordering my first Littlefee this Christmas and I'm really excited because she'll be my first tiny. I'm still torn between white skin and tan skin (if it's offered again). She's going to based on the Roman goddess Diana, so I feel like white skin would make more sense, but Fairyland tan is just so pretty!

Can I see some of your Mios?

 

If I had to choose between Fairyland BW and tan - tan it will be, without a doubt. It's so pretty! And as Diana is a hunter she's out in the wild everyday, how can she stay white (no sunblocker invented at that time!)? Just my two cents...

 

Well it was an event plate, so limited, and as already said, dreaming, which is not the most popular.

 

yeah, the only reason i ended up getting it was because i had a floating juri head that needed a body. so i just ordered it with a random baby sculpt that i never planned to use and stuck in a box somewhere, then did some face swapping to see who would get the baby body and who the littlefee regular. i originally planned to put my leah on it and give juri her body, but instead juri stole the baby body and leah kept her own :shrug.

it's a pretty sculpt though and the dreaming must at least have eye wells unlike the sleeping heads lately, so at least it is a much easier mod to a waking face if you don't like the sleepy look.

 

Here is Ltf Ante in her Renaissance attire. I am waiting on a belt and looking for a tiny pouch to complete the look. The sweet purple outfit is by PixidustDesigns and the flower garland is by insideouthouse on Etsy.

 

I didn't think about it that way! For some reason I was picturing ivory/white marble statues of Diana because that's usually what I think of when I imagine Roman and Greek goddesses. I think I like the tan idea a bit more now.

 

I might be an odd one, but if they offered dreaming versions of all the sculpts, I'd jump on them. (That would be a wallet-killer event, actually, "Hey we added dreaming options for all LTFs, for one month you can buy them without getting a full doll.") I already have sleep faces for mine, and half-sleepy ones would be a lot of fun for me, too.

I love to collect face plates, I'd be all over dreaming versions, too.

 

if i could duplicate my faceups, i'd be more tempted by the other expressions. but i can never get them to look the same twice, so there is no use.

 

I love the dreaming Soony...I had another that I modded to open eyes, but sold that one.

i like the LTF baby Rara in tan (I have one) but my NS has a bisou FP. Managed to sell that Rara FP.

Does anyone have a 2013 Juri event faceplate that they have faced up (or sent out for painting)? If you do I'd love to see photos. I want to paint mine for a Christmas themed meetup. (She'll be an elf.) The only trouble is I can't seem to get a feel for what sort of look would work. The weatherman promises warmer weather this weekend, so I want to paint her then.

Here is my little Juri 13 elf. She was painted with natural brown and gold colours by Eludy's I believe. I bought her second hand. She is still one of my favourites.

 

Oh my goodness! Congrats on your new arrivals! Your picture is lovely and I love the outfit! I agree I would jump for dreaming versions of all the faceplates.

I don't have a face up yet on my Littlefee FLAL but I'm excited to give it a go sometime. Her bottom lip kind of reminds me of Littlefee Bisou or Lisa. Almost ready for the winter holidays.

Thank you @karleecakes and @Dustbunnie. I'm sure I won't achieve either one's level of adorableness, but it's good to see what she can be. So many times I see sculpts on DoA and don't recognize them--especially the Juris and Nanuris as FL never shows them with faceups. I can't wait to start painting!

 

Thank you! It's a Dollheart trade from their recent Fukubukuro event; I didn't get any YO-sized stuff, but I traded away some bigger pieces for that outfit for Winry.

Well, I did it... I got the last payment on my Paprika and ordered a Luna through DDE. I was seriously considering modding a Mio but in the end, I decided to go with the younger looking Luna. Last time I went with mature faces and they didn't work with the bodies.
Show me your Lunas everyone!!!

 

There is so many adorable cuties here to comment individually but know that I admired and loved them all!

Forgot to add, on the discussion of dreaming faceplates, I personally don't like them which is why when looking for someone to do a faceup on my Dreaming Soony I needed to find someone who would mod the eyes open too. But I can see why those who like to switch faceplates for different personalities and expressions would like them. I personally love to see lots of the eyes.
