Fairyland LittleFee Discussion Thread - Part 30

Happy Easter Week

 

This little one has been bouncing from Post office to Post office all over the city today. I had a second mail delivery today-Shue is home, thanks to my super mailman. I told him what was going on this morning when he delivered some other packages...he went down to the PO when he was done with deliveries, found her (in a very smashed box) and immediately brought her to me..I could have kissed him!
Anyway, she's here, and I am totally underwhelmed with her. First time I have not fallen in love with one of Fairyland's dolls. Her wings can't be worn-the magnets are not deeply enough seated so they just droop down on her back. She has several bad seam lines and what looks like a crack on her right wrist ball-her eyelashes from one eye were loose in the box...The outfit is cute-and she has a cute face, but I am not thrilled with her.

How disappointing for you, [MENTION=11561]sweetiemom[/MENTION]! It's just awful that you had to suffer from the lapse in quality, too... and the knocking around in the smashed box probably didn't help, either!

[MENTION=11561]sweetiemom[/MENTION] - that's terrible. Have you contacted them yet? A number of those things sound like faults that they should replace. They sent me a LTF Elf El with a fault in his hand and bent over backwards to fix it up - first sending me a new pair of hands and when they wouldn't fit, they then sent me another replacement hand & wrist to make sure it could be fixed properly. You do have to be honest with Fairyland though, they get shirty if they check and you haven't been. I've just realised that I completely missed the fact that they had released an Alice LTF! I thought they'd only done the Cheshire Cat.

 

Alice was released in a separate event, the event that followed the Cheshire one. She was released with the MNF Kai white rabbit.

 

I'm so sorry, sweetiemom, but it's great you've got such a wonderful postman.

Joren is glad to be on the first page again, though.!

She's off with chizzie_shark to get her faceup done over the next few weeks, so hopefully by the time Rachel arrives I'll be able to put a finished Sarang fp on her body!!! *sigh*

Thank you! No, that one was made by a seller named SpecialDelivery2006, who does awesome smocked work. Unfortunately, she hasn't had a smaller sized offering in the past few years, she seems to only be sewing for 13" and taller vinyl dolls.

just realized I forgot to share any pics from when I took my girl Absinthe out to the park! I just love this girl so much! I def want another ltf but I haven't fully decided which one yet.

 

That might be, the seller didn't give me her source. I would even be more interested in the wig-maker as it fits like a glove. Just perfect! And as Sirpa's wig is more on the loose side, I would love to find her a better fitting one. Maybe even one with a similar effect (girly and perky, you know).
