Fairyland LittleFee Discussion Thread - Part 26

I'm really likeing these new kids! the event plates as well! Rose has so grown on me, she may have to come home eventually! I love what everyone is doing with their event plates! they are so cute!

 

::Sigh::... still no email from DDE. They received some of the Dec 28th orders, not all, and are still sorting them out. It doesn't look good for my Mio this week...

 

auntbear: I would love to see a photo of Wren without the hat, mostly because I'm loving the wig.

 

At last I can play on this thread for real…
Meet my Mio, I was going to call her Arley Belle but I am not so sure that is what her name will be…
I need to play with her more and get to know her before I am 100% sure…
This is my first LF, I had a little trouble with her wig but outside of that she is perfect.

Congrats on the incoming Mio's! I wanted one sooo bad but still had my Sarang event order to pay off.
My condolences to those still waiting for Mio's and Rose's.

 

I just ordered some Nine9style jeans for Rebecca and a cute top. Plus her new Ugg style boots should be in soon too. I can't wait to have something else for her wear besides her 2 dresses. Shopping for dollies is so fun!

Little Ayse got some attention from me again. I have a love/hate relationship with this girl. I adore her so much, but I don't really like her next to my other girls. She is so much more coarse (I hope I used that right). My other dolls are so delicate, she isn't, at all. lol. I love her on her own though

I really adore her too, I think I need to keep her away from my other girls xD on her own I really love her. She just looks off next to the others, but that doesn't make her any less lovable or beautifull!

 

Sodebentjes: I completely understand. I love my LTF Nanuri but she doesn't go well with my MSD girl who's an AE Aure. Their skin is so different that they just don't go together. It's a shame because otherwise they'd make a great mother and daughter, but I still adore them separately.

 

its funny you say that they cant go together bc of their skin color, my mom is half Italian and has nice tan-olive toned skin, i on the other hand am pale with freckles and burn if i just look at the sun (i got all the French Canadian and Swedish genes) so skin color really doesnt matter 100% in my opinion because your skin color is not always the same as both parents

That's a good point, and very true! I'm adopted and I was the only olive skinned, brown haired, brown eyed kid in the family. I think this it's more my ocd tendencies kicking in because the skin tones don't match, and, oh, I dearly love things to match. It's a sickness. Maybe I'll look for a Minifee Nanuri to be Rebecca's Mom. Dang it...this conversation wasn't supposed to result in me convincing myself to buy another doll...which is also a sickness btw...Lol!

Darkwind: Yay! I've been looking forward to seeing Jack. What does he think of Scotland?

 

Mio and I have been struggling to bond however I think I'm starting to understand her. I was trying to dress her in human clothes but she tells me she's actually a fairy come to watch over the other dolls

kayjay… she is cute, I think the fairy world fits her so well.

I am working on trying to find who my Mio is as well although I bonded right away. she is my first and I am amazed and a bit enchanted with this girl. She doesn’t have what I would call a pretty look about her but a more unique look, a bit different, definitely a child with a gift or two. I think I need to get some new eyes and maybe a few wigs, being new in this hobby I don’t have a stash.
I have a question for those who got Mio Cat, did she come with panties? I was surprised not to find a pair in the box, with that skirt being a bit short I was sure that a pair would have been included.

Well darn! I just read this on the Fairyland site:

Dear Customers,
We wish to inform our customers that FairyLand is currently having May Golden Week holiday since May 1st (Labour Day) till May 7th. All administration works including invoice emails and replies to inquiries, as well as order processing time is being paused during this period.

I am so close to getting my 2 fullsets (I was hoping, anyway, ordered January 4th) and now they're on another break!

 

The Mio fullset did not come with panties. Most of the fullsets don't.

And I've got a question, has anyone who has got a mio painted her yet? Like custom face-up. I havent seen a mio with custom face-up yet but I'd love to see one n_n

 

I have to decide if my Mio will Keep her default face-up when she arrives.

I think I would say "robust" as the opposite of delicate. She is gorgeous, looks like a little country girl...

 

Thank you! I think you're right! I tried to translate the dutch word in google translate, and coarse came out. But robust sounds way better. My other tiny girls are CustomHouse and Bluefairy. Especially Bluefairy's are so extremely delicate. Ayse looks just very robust next to them!
