Thanks! :3 It's fastened with snaps, or, it will be when I finish sewing them all on. xP The snaps holding the neck together are sewn on, but the rest of it is being held on by pins right now. ;>w>

 

This Lisa spam has me wanting a Lisa so bad! I initially didn't like the sculpt much but now I love it! So much attitude!

I sold her due to financial distress. She wasn't a limited or anything and I hadn't done any mods so it wasn't a huge deal. I just miss having my winged cutie around.

Vampbee3, I found mine on the marketplace, from Kirika Dawn. I think she still has a store on Etsy.

 

They're from Ruby Red Galleria, they also come in red. Many of their InMotion girl shoes fit LTF, and they have quite a few more mature styles than your standard Yo-sized shoes.

Smoteymote: You SOLD Ashlyn???? *FREAKS OUT*

And Bimbles has assured me that the new Luna is Tattlepate, not Fuzzwicket. So she's going by Tattles. She's very quiet and reserved - almost aloof. But like Bimbles, she's very loyal to Joren. Unlike Bimbles, she's much more independent. Bimbles follows Joren around and plays fetch. Tattles doesn't seem to go in for that.

Oooh Elee (sp?) is a Pipi! She kinda looks like a tomboy, like she'd protect her friend beside her.

 

yes eilidh is definitely a tomboy and a fierce protector of her friends! i was kind of surprised to see she chose light pink to wear that day, but somehow it still suited her. i only have one really girly girl and that's my dreamy little bookworm wren.

 

Aww... everybody's cuties are-- well, so cute! I'm glad I dropped in! (and smoteymote-- my sympathies and well-wishes that you get your little darling back again someday, or re-shell her at least, when finances permit! I understand how rough times can impact the hobby, and it hurts to give up something with so much love attached.)

I just did my first tiny faceup over the weekend, having only done two faceups on minis before, and...



I think he turned out surprisingly well (I guess all my 2D painting experience helped as far as brush control went, even if it's very different painting on a head than on a canvas!)... even if he celebrated by taking my straw when we went out to dinner.

 

Anneko: that's much better than my first several dozen tries!

auntbear: Joren is such a tomboy, too. She likes to wear boys' clothes...when she wears clothes.

I gave Tattles her faceup. She came out very different from what I expected. Very shrewd looking. I didn't think it was possible for a Luna!

Aw, Anneko, your ginger El is so cute! His freckles and lips are very natural looking, and his dragon costume is so whimsical and fun. I feel like when I see the El faceplate without a faceup he looks very serious, like an older brother type but Billy looks very approachable and sweet.

Redfaery, I just love your Joren and attendants, Tattles faceup gives her just the right amount of experience for that tiny face. I'm digging her bronzy wig too.

Auntbear, That photo of your girls is perfect!

Clochette, I was also admiring those heeled shoes! That blue dress is so pretty and fluffy too, thanks for your advice.. I always admire your tinies.

 

Wow, I didn't think that was possible for a Luna either. Great job!

Three is a very nice number. I think my LittleFee collection is good for right now. I won't be saving up for another for a while. Joren, Bimbles, and Tattles....the three of them look so nice together. I've also learned that Tattles is kind of cranky. She reminds me of my old cat Mike Stripes, who was very much a cranky guy who didn't like cuddles or being picked up, but liked to be close to me and liked to sit on my lap. She makes me think that she's one of those kind of mean cats who gets mellowed by a lot of attention and affection from one person.

Bimbles, on the other hand, reminds me a bit of my cats Liquorice and my parents' cat Maxwell. Like Max, she is shy around strangers, and quite skittish, but also very loyal, with a tendency to follow you around. Like Liquorice (Liquorice and Max have a lot in common, actually. I can't wait to let them make friends! Max wanted to play with Liq so badly, but she was sick at the time, and it wasn't a good idea), she is a great cuddler and very sweet. Like both of them, she is playful and energetic. She likes to fetch! Bimbles's curiosity doesn't get her into trouble as often as you'd think; it's balanced by her skittishness and tendency to FREAK OUT when something happens she doesn't like. Still, she gets into trouble a lot!

Just received my first Littlefee! She was supposed to be delivered last night...but thanks to a postman who didn't even try to see if anyone was home...I had to go track her down this morning. But she is here...but I think she definitely needs different eyes..

Can anyone point me in the right direction for eyes for these little ones? Would any of the ones from DDE work? Was checking out the Almost Real ones...but choices even within that category ;-) Looking for more realistic rather than fantasy....

 

It depends on what type of eyes you would like. Most start with acrylic which are inexpensive and come in some amazing patterns and colors. A large number purchase glass eyes which look great when photographed and a few spring for eurathane eyes like Mako (best price) Gumdrops or Enchanted Doll Eyes. They work really well if you're trying to fill an odd sized eye well or if you are looking for very realistic looking eyes that photograph well and don't leave gaps.

Try checking out MintonCard I think they had a variety but they tend not to keep a lot in stock so expect a wait.

 

Congrats on your new girl!! I have a few of the Brilliant Glass Eyes from DDE and they are nice, but I get most of my eyes from Safrindoll. My favorites are the Hand Glass Craft. She's also making some really nice acrylics now too, but I think they are a preorder and you have to wait for those.

 

Thren has a new series of her Safrin Acrylics that are pretty realistic. Many of my kids have Safrindoll eyes
