It must have been so fun to just find them. A child (and of course us) would be so taken by the small magic of them.

Won these shoes over at the auction site and they fit wonderfully. The shoes are made by Monique Trading Corp, the seller shipped fast. Gosh Peggy now has shoes!

Is there anyone in this thread that ordered a FL doll through DDE in or around Feb?

I know I'm a tad impatient and they are running behind on production, but I'm beginning to get really antsy.

 

Cameo wanted to drop in to say hello. It is windy outside, but she wanted to see the flowers.

 

My Littlefee White Sylph finally arrived today, so have a couple of pictures for you. After much debate I have decided to call her Molly. I was looking for an Elf name but I am so bad at names, I went back to my first choice.


I was really worried about what colour her eyes would be, as I haven't had to change any of my Littlefee's eyes before. I was pleased to see she has brown eyes or do you call it hazel.

Molly's default wig was not to her taste and she really liked Lottie's, so Lottie has kindly given her wig to Molly until a replacement arrives. Lottie isn't too happy about it though, so she decided to try on Molly's, she does look rather cute in it!!

Here are the girls in each others' wigs.

 

I do like the wig switch...... very nice on both of them.
Peggy's default eyes are the same color and I think it looks very nice on both of them.
Not to dark and kind of a warn color.
She is beautiful in her new hair and dress.

EilonwyG, I really like the idea that some kid (probably?) has made them and let them be for someone else to find! So sweet!

Today was such a busy day! Little elf finally recieved her temp hair (we're were waiting on a tinybear mohair wig but there's such a long waitlist that I had to get her something else for now. I love it either way!) AND got a package from Ms Spampy! She was so happy that she didn't have to sit around bald and naked anymore. Next is the faceup (give me another week or so!)

So I went ahead & bought my LTF (that I'm still saving for) a fluffy dress from FL on DDE! I'm so excited for her to come home... I just have to figure out what color hair she should have. I'm going to be dying her so I'm torn between brown/light brown & red, any suggestions?

She'll be the same color as my bff's Elvis_s_Chocolate Bishou, Cameo... here's a pic with my girl Carlisle.

Well, my new Littlefee Ante just arrived along with the Macaron outfit and wig. I just adore her, except that she arrived with BRIGHT RED eyes from Fairyland. It wasn't exactly what I had in mind. I"m going to either have to switch them out or make her character a vampire, lol. I'll try and post pics soon.

 

Congrats on getting her! I am curious to see her with red eyes!

Daiyuflower, congrats for your new girl! I keep wondering, why don´t Fairyland keep in natural eye colours as most of people like them best anyway. I must say I´d still be curious to see how she´ll look with the red eyes, I think I haven´t seen any red-eyed Ante.

That dye job is cool! I'd worry about it getting on her clothes but oh the tan is so wonderful!

Funny story: I won the spampy dress kind of by accident...it's not Artemis's style so we figured another LTF would like it more...I'm glad that there was a brand new arrival that was fairly naked that got the dress! It would have sat in my box.

Artemis is getting a new tshirt and a new hoodie so she's pleased (for now)

I ordered a Fullset Lishe LTF from DDE on 2/12, but they confirmed that the order went out a week later on... 2/19 I believe. So... I know that I'm only up to working day 38 at the most (not excluding holidays)... got a ways to go yet! Argh... waiting is a killer.

Thanks MaggieMay, but they're not sisters Fuchsia is a little girl, Asphodel is her ghostly friend and Moth is the vampiric Velvet who hangs around with Asphodel and thinks that Fuchsia looks like a good meal. Fun times!

All these cute photos are making me so impatient to get my boy's body! I managed to do a little bit of faceup work on him last night (my own get worked on while MSC is drying on commissions) so I'm hoping to get him finished up in the next several days. At least before I pick up his body!

My Leah/Sookie came with those purple eyes too......they did not go well with the yellow around her eyes....I literally said "ACK" when I pulled her out of the pillow. I quickly put in her brown eyes....

 

I'm not a fan of the purple eyes either DancingBee! I can't wait for their ED eyes to arrive. I think that eyes really help shape character.

I recoiled slightly when I saw them. She looks like she's trying to stare into my soooul!

 

The "fantasy" eyes are really striking but I tend to prefer a more natural look to my girls.
It seems to be easier for me and my limited fashion sense to dress them.
Love to see everyone's dollys 'cause they sure seem to have very individual personalities.

 

Wow! You're so lucky to have gotten such a big exciting order! And thank you for posting them faceupless...it really helps in deciding who's coming home next. I really think I prefer the Leah over the Bisou but I think it's the eyes that throw me off. (Compared to Ante they are much more widely set)... maybe I'll have to start planning another eye opening after Shiwoo comes home from the modder. Hmmm. Congrats btw!

Ooh! Spampy had told me that I didn't make it in time but was going to send something else she had lying around. Then when I got the package and opened it up and saw the exact same outfit I was a bit confused but let out a little squee. Thank you, as well, in that case! It went immediately on Little Elf and I was amazed at how the pouty grumpy look she seemed to have all week went away. I think she's much happier clothed. XD

Oh congrats on your new arrival! I love that outfit so much (wish I had the money to get one!) and it looks SO good contrasted against her bright pink hair. Lovely photo. Isn't ante just so cute?!

I dislike the purple eyes as well. When I was waiting for my LTF to get through customs and arrive at my house I just kept saying "I really hope she doesn't come with the purple eyes! I must have squealed when I finally got her bubble wrapped head out and saw they were ANY other color than those. Especially since she needs to sit in them for a few months till I can overcome my current financial issues. I do like fantasy eyes...sometimes. Just not lilac. =X

 

Oh. I like them. Maybe with a wig and faceup they wouldn't be so 'staring-into-my-soul-ish.'

 

She has some teal coloured eyes on the way. She's going to have brown hair and sea blue eyes. MissFlynn, there are some more photos on my Flickr. I can take some more Leah/Ante Elf comparison photos for you if you like

 

Oh, I like purple eyes. My Bisou/Paisley has purple eyes. I just didn't think they looked good in my Leah/Sookie. It was horrifying with the yellow...

I thought I was going to get a Leah next, but now it may be Ante!

I love all the new arrivals...seeing what everyone's been doing with their dolls...I pay more attention to my Puki and Pukifee but Artemis is not going ANYWHERE ever again if I can help it!

I've had a busy time at work, a vacation without internet access and a new arrival, so I haven't been here in soooo long. I can't believe how far behind I am. I'm not sure I can get through all the missed posts!

Here's my new arrival, Lilac with Lelani...



This was the day she came and since she's a basic Flora, she didn't have any clothes yet. But Lelani loves her and they've been playing together since she arrived!

 

I had a question for all you very knowledgeable LTF people! I was wondering if any of you had a fur wig pattern you have used to make a wig that fit a LTF well. I know there are a couple yo-sd patterns floating around, but I was wondering if there was any one in particular you have used successfully.

 

Lilac is so cute and her name fits her.


Very upset here................. Peggy will never wear shoes again!

The shoes fit just fine but the foot looked very, very strange.
Turns out the darn magnet came loose and is stuck on the foot.
Need a stiff drink and maybe I will be ready to fix it.
LOL

 

Thanks! Actually we washed her after we dyed her and let her dry for hours. Color hasn't rubbed off at all yet.

 

You could always try Pukifee ears...they probably would look better than pukipuki ones
