Fairyland Littlefee Discussion Part 11

FL will not change bodies as far as I know. The only difference in the bodies is the pelvic piece so the only one who would know if it was a boy or girl body would be you unless you told people.

 

Mija had a first pet - a natatorial turtle.

It is more than photos + a children's rhyme (in Russian).

 

Little fee question- Do all Little fee's come with magnets in their backs? Thank you!

 

Vampbee- He still has his bell on! but he was being painted on and half dressed .

 

I could be wrong, but I think they do have magnets in their backs. I just checked mine out of curiousity, and he does have magnets there. Good to know. =3

 

^_^ Yes, all LittleFee have:

2 magnets in the headback
2 magnets in their shoulder blades
2 magnets for the wrists (1 in each wrist)
2 magnets for the hands (1 in each hand)
2 magnets for the ankles (1 in each ankle)
2 magnets for the feet (1 in each foot).

So a basically complete LittleFee has a total of 12 magnets. ^_^ I think the only place they DON'T have magnets are their little bums.

There has been talk laterly that newer boy ltf might be taller than girl littlefee bodies. I think Sims was the one who did a line up to show the difference.

 

I stood my Lewi and my Ante together and it is true! The boy body is just a smidge taller than the girl body. I'll snap another shot when I get back from work if I remember.

 

I have the three original Little Fees from the first batch, and the boys Piki and Pipi are a bit taller than Ante..

While it won't be done in time to take Effie to the new movie (too crowded anyway), I'm currently working on a little mock Hogwarts outfit for her and her cousin (Kearsy's elf ante, Alice) in honor of the fact that they will be going to Harry Potter world next month. Effie's house is going to be Hufflepuff and Alice's house will be Ravenclaw (we're going against convention). I hope to spam the dresses soon!

sweetiemom - it looks like the boys hips are wider too. I thought the only difference between the boy and the girl were the bits. Are there any other differences between the boys and girls? the face plates are still interchangeable right?

I just bought a boy Bisou to make a girl. I thought the brown eye shadow would be a nice change.

i tried trimming my silicone wig cap while my girl was wearing it and the scissors stuck to her magnets. i had to draw the lines and take it off to cut instead.

 

Fairyland says the only differance now its the pelvis piece, Sweetiemom can you show your old boy and a newer boy?

 

You said this and I just had to try it lol. Not the greatest quality, sorry, but you get the idea right?

bonita you can easily sand down the boy bits , use very fine auto wet/dry sandpaper (or start with a Dremel tool and finish with sand paper). Use the sandpaper damp, dip in water now and then to keep the toxic resin dust down. Start with 400 grit and work your way up to finer and finer papers. You'll have a girl in no time!

aside from a slight difference in color, I don't see any difference in the two bodies.

Ok, Captain Random strikes again, but has anyone else noticed that if you look really quick Littlefee Luna's look like a baby Mnf Miyu? I was trolling Etsy and noticed it.

 

You both are so funny I had to laugh. But now I have to show my 7 year old son that my littlefee sticks to the fridge.

Thought I'd drop by again as I have reached my 40WD wait and hoping for a shipping notice soon,
I'm ordering a Lewi (ns with face-up) and I was wondering if there would be people out there to spam me some shots of the pretty little face (and say how much shimmer/glitter they put on it, it's the only thing worrying)

 

I have been wondering why anyone would really be bothered having the body of one sex and the face of the other. Instead of possibly effecting the value and integrity if the doll, just let it be since they are clothed. Well I assume they are clothed.

 

Does anyone know which eye size suits Flora best? Thanks in advance!

 

I did not care if my Girl Bisou had boy bits since she would be dressed what I am worried about is if the hips are a lot wider then will she look funny being a girl next to my Ante? I should find out later today. I should get her/him later hopefully.

designedforsmiles- Just chiming in to say I love the box opening thread you did! I have the pink sylph fullset too but for some reason it has never looked quite right on my girl- maybe it's better in the natural skin. Or maybe it's just that I could never face it when she had the red eyes. I had trouble keeping the wig on too. Did you use velcro or a wig cap?

I finally, finally, finally got some HGC eyes for Alba- although not the ones I originally ordered since there was a problem. I went with green since they were in stock and after waiting 4 months, I wanted something. They are lovely but now I don't care for her red hair wig on her, since it looks too much like the little mermaid. I think I'm inclined to get a little street urchin dark scruffy wig if I can track down one I like.

 

Has anyone gotten a Littlefee with one leg shorter than the other? One thigh is also fatter than the other we measured it?? She leans when she stands. It is a Bisou boy I just got today?

I have tried playing with the legs, looking at the stringing and the joints. But one leg just does not feel right. It is so weird.

Geez, that's odd. I wonder if maybe there is a slight difference in the length of the boy and girl versions of the thigh piece. Maybe you somehow ended up with one of each?

 

hello everyone! I haven't been around lately as been quite busy with work etc. However, Tabby, Asa and Edward are all still here and say hello

A quick question - does anyone know if the YOSD sized outfits by Ajumapama available on ndoll fit Littlefee? I just adore them but they are quite expensive so I don't want to risk buying one only for it not to fit when it arrives.

kate2kate - Have you made sure that there isn't a knot of elastic in one or other of the thigh pieces? With the way that littlefees are strung through the legs, I think people have found that if that knot gets in a funny place it can cause the type of thing you are talking about. If nothing else you could always unstring the leg portion and restring it to see if that fixes the issue or to just compare pieces.

can someone give me a quick eye comparison with an elf el wearing 14, 16 and 18mm eyes? i havnt got Naois with me at the moment -he is off getting a face-up- so its a bit hard for me to do. Thanks

@hepcat: So far I don't have a wig cap for Aurora. The wig is a bit annoying to get on without mussing up the curls, and it does like to pop off at the slightest provocation. It's SO cute, though! I haven't tried the velcro thing yet, but I might try putting some Mack's earplug silicone on her head to see if it'll hold the wig better.

I'm sorry the Pink Sylph outfit didn't suit your girl! I haven't owned any white resin yet, but I think the pink in the outfit really matches and brings out the warm tones of the Natural skin and the pink in the faceup.

 

i'm starting to really love the sleeping plates. i wish i'd ordered them for my kids and now it is too late

 

You could always look for some in the market place. I always see quite a few sleeping faceplates up for sale.

 

i've been doing that but haven't found the right ones, or someone else gets there first.. i'll keep looking though, sooner or later i have to luck out!

 

It's happened, guys. It's funny how a black-haired boy like Muggle just suddenly demanded to be a redhead. But there we go. He is just destined for things that I couldn't even imagine for him initially!

I'm waiting for my red-haired wig to be delivered. Oooooo, things are getting exciting again in my household! My poor Pukifee is waiting on strings, and Muggle has been bald for a little bit now. Hopefully this means my Muses are working on my side again?!

My family had a good laugh while I was setting this photo up. My sister's exact words were "Is he throwing signs and wearing a diaper?"

I defended the non-diaper-ness of his undies, but I didn't give them a y-front since it would be out of place when I do cherub-y photoshoots where I want a little something for modesty's sake... Anyway, the hat came with a Moxie Teen-- my sister bought and stripped a couple because their tops and purses at least were a good fit for her MNF girl, but their heads are smaller. The wigs are too small but the hats are just right for a LTF. I was like "Hm... this isn't really my boy's style-- YET!".

He always seems a little reproachful when I talk about dressing him up in ridiculous or girly outfits...

I haven't been on this thread in AGES - don't take my LTF out much (I tend to go through phases with the sizes) but on a whim I was skimming some pages today and came across my name.
1st - I'm thrilled to death you still remember me
2nd - That's what I did with Delaney - I added a little color to the gloss and painted it over her original lips

Thanks for the suggestion. But we mesured both thigh pieces and one is almost 1/2 cm thicker than the other. The leg just looks weird.

I don't know if my particular Ante elf has a very light face up or they all are like this. But right now I am afraid to do anything to her becuase I am just not bonding to her as much as I should with a new doll. But maybe I add a little more color to her lips she might look better. But if I screw up the lip color I can't sell her. I will post some pictures tomorrow after my son goes to camp. I love my Bisou Boy with the screwed up leg but I think I am going to exchange him for a her becuase the do not have any more him's in stock.
