Fairyland Feeple60 Discussion - part ten

I just checked their list of dealers and it seems to be made up of DDE and Dolk only now. They used to have a German vendor I think? Since now we know Dolk is just temporary and being "tested", DDE is the only one thats fully functioning and up and running.

 

Are the prices already know for her?

My Celine arrived and she is sooo gorgeous *-*

 

We'll find out her price tomorrow I guess?...Ah, I'm so nervous-excited.

I keep saying I'll probably end up using DDE but I still really want to go through Fairyland! It all comes down to how expensive she is I guess and how many of her they plan on releasing. I'll probably make a split second decision tomorrow

 

Theres no Friday in sight yet, but weve got 12 hours to go till the Fairyland pre-release! And another 19 hours until DDE's release!

I'm not sure if this is stated anywhere, but will there be a tan event with the release of Scarlett? I missed the last one and I'm slightly dying for a F60 tan Celine

 

-wiggles- Ah, I was hoping for more info about Scarlett and the event the day before she goes on sale, but since it isn't being posted until 1am (my time), looks like we'll just have to wait to see everything until tomorrow morning (unless it is more conveniently timed in your time zone).

Unfortunately the event has not yet been unveiled, so I don't think we know yet. Fairyland has the notice posted, but it is "locked" still so we'll have to wait until, presumably, 5pm KST to actually see it. I hope you can get your tan Celine! ^^

I messed around with my Fairyline seahorse body last night and now I am tempted for the Fl60 version... It all comes down to cost now...

 

I'm so nervous guys, I get info on her later tonight (6PM) my time Bad thing is she's released through DDE at 1AM here. Bleh I should have made a decision by that point anyway and considering I don't sleep properly chances are I'll still be awake anyway

 

I feel you there! I might still be up in time to see her release too. xD I'm really just hoping that (as admittedly far-fetched as this is) that her basic human version is less than $600. If that were the case, I *might* be able to figure out a way to put her on layaway.

 

@kaschan502 Yeah I hope she will at least be affordable as a basic blank doll.

 

I want her Full Option Package so I'm terrified at this point If she's too expensive I'm not sure what I'll do yet. I would say her basic human version would be similar in price to the other limited F60's they've released so around the $700-800 mark. You could get lucky though!

 

I have my finances already sorted out- I'm willing to pay $170 /month to be comfortable and the rest upon arrival. If she costs more than $1,500 I'm going to have to rebudget and see where I have to start cutting into my savings (or if the cost is worth the expense).

 

That's basically how I'm thinking at the moment. If she's anymore than $1500 I could be in trouble, the exchange rate might murder my bank account If she is around the $1500 mark I may just wait and buy her direct from Fairyland though, we shall see.

 

Anyone else see on fairylands site where it says " this will be the last of the steampunk horse edition".. Did I miss something? She's a horse? Are horses next? Centaurs? Am I reading too much into this? Lol

Basic feeples are around 400-500 hundred, it's the Human Fullset that will be around 700-800. The outfit and eight and eyes definitely throw in that extra chunk. For example a fullset Lunnula was close to 900 but her a la carte version is close to 500. If your getting a basic human she's going to be affordable haha at least to our standards.

 

Whoops, I was thinking of the full sets. Derp XP And also my own basic Celine but I keep forgetting tan adds a rather hefty sum onto what would otherwise be quite affordable(ish) (also the exchange rate was terrible when I bought her.)

 

Sooo my grail popped up and I'm passing on Scarlett in favor of it! But I can't wait to see everyone's Scarletts, fullsets, blanks, all of them! And to find out her fullset price!

 

Haha I was like nooooo, I don't want anyone to be discouraged lol. And yeah tan does DX the exchange rate is still awful in CAD

Hi everyone, I am just wondering if anyone can help me out since I am not too familiar with feeple 60s...I used to own a minifee chloe, and I bought a pair of 12mm mako eyes for her because I prefer a slightly smaller iris look...for a feeple celine what size eye would anyone recommend to achieve this same kind of look...or, just as a guide at all, what size eyes are normally used in a celine?

I just bought a Celine myself and though I haven't been able to open her and try eyes in her yet people generally use 14mm and 16mm. 14mm will give you the smaller look you're after. I personally prefer the look as well

I expeted the seahorse fullset up to 1800, but the human basic for 647 while the normal Feeple is 498 is really high in my opinion.. it is nearly the same body, only the hook inside for the quick change is deferent.
The defference at the MNF was just about 30$ between MNF and Fairyline body. This time it is 150$

 

It looks like the event stuff is also available again, but it seems to be the same stuff from the last release.

I agree. I will definitely still get her, but I wasn't expecting her to be so much more expensive than the Moe girls.

 

Well it looks like I'll be getting her through DDE. Only 150 full sets with the seahorse tail!? I better get in as soon as she appears on DDE

EDIT: Also, in her full option package it says her sword isn't painted!? What the hell?

 

@Magical Rin Seems they often skip painting their extra items as of late. Which is a real bummer, cause they make them look soo awesome!

And 150 sets? Thats way less than I expected, considering their update. Besides it seems cheaper than I had feared, which makes it at least a little more affordable to me. I guess I really have to consider getting her through DDE as well.

I know! I freaked out a bit when I saw how little they were making, but she's a lot more affordable than I thought she would be as well. I guess there's a first time for everything? I'm a bit nervous about it but she's too gorgeous to miss out on for me.

 

Yeah unfortunately. But I guess it's one way to cut down on the cost. I will try color it myself as well but it won't be nearly as good as their work! Maybe I could have someone else paint it tho.

Slightly freaking out here too. I have ordered from DDE before. It wasn't bad per say. But the customs have extra controll on whatever comes from the US. When I order from Korea my dolls mostly just slips through without any problems. But I already have a character figured out and all. I really don't wanna miss out.

 

What I want to know is if the human legs you can add on to the seahorse basic comes with heel or flat feet, the full option package explicitly lists heel feet (for the shoes obviously) but does this mean the other version come with flat? We had this same vague description last time with Sia and they ended up coming with heel feet but It's one of those things that you'd rather not chance in the event you'd need to order heel feet.

I'm also surprised that the basic human version costs $647, which is way more expensive than the Moe Basic o_o I calculated the difference and if its about the Scarlett head, then it would cost about $149 alone. I don't mind as I'm going to need the body only, but oh well!

Now to wait for April 11th :P

 

I haven't had an issue with customs before but I might this time, I'm sure DDE will be fine. I always get a bit nervous buying from a new place but I have faith they'll handle the situation well. I have a character planned for her as well! We have to get in before everyone else I'll be ready to repeatedly refresh DDE's page when the time comes. I hope

 

Yes! Luckily I am availible at the release time, I actually took today off haha. But not just cause of the event, mind you. But it just luckily happened to end up on the same day
I think we had similar plans in mind for the dolls tho, if I remember a few posts back correctly.

I'm not sure I've mentioned what I have planed for her character, but I have a plan to make her character a legendary sailor cursed by a sea witch She's going to my FM60 Celine's idol of the sailing world

 

I think many of us that uses forums frequently or other online stuff are night owls, at least that's a feeling I get.

As for Celine, I haven't even opened her yet she arrived earlier in the week back home and I get to finally see her this weekend (week free from University) I'm so excited! So I'll be spamming photos of her soon

Well my plans for my Scarlett is that she used to be a demon slayer human named Jessica "Jesse" Strife, my sd boys partner, before she "died" in one of their missions. However, my Sia Seahorse girl will have had her revived as a fake "seahorse" using her magic, though she was also the one that also had her killed to begin with. The story will of course have more depth than that, but thats the gist of it.

@Vanille seems it is not included in the event. Only the fairyline and minifee, from what I could tell from their post.

I plan on doing a little box opening post so keep an eye on the box opening thread She has such an expressive face I can't wait to take photos of her~

Ooh~ that sounds great so far! I'm always a sucker for demon hunter universes, a lot of my dolls are actually part of a story about demon hunters, etc. They're such fun to create plots for and add new characters in (which isn't good for my bank account)

 

It seems that way, but it's kind of strange that they're re-releasing old event heads. Not that I'm complaining, I quite like the Nanuri 16 heads :3

Anyway, since some of the old minifees are back, I will be making an order, and also getting my Miyu some new hands. But I'm having a lot of trouble deciding on which ones. I own the moe hands and the pointy hands. Does anyone have a preference for a specific set of F60 hands?

 

I was thinking that too, but on closer look it says the event head for f60 is "Event FairyLine60 Head" but the Winter one was named Feeple60 Nanuri so i don't really know. My favourite hands are #18 and #17 and left hands from #13 and #14 some of the older ones like #12 look a bit manly in my opinion.

 

Yeah, $150 is quite the price hike for magnetic parts and quick-change legs (a utility I wouldn't even use as I wasn't planning to get the seahorse version), especially since I was hoping for a slightly taller body than the FM60. Oh well, looks like I'll have to pass on this girl.

 

It may be $150 more than moe body but it's only $50 more than the original F60. XD;;
Which i've bought 4 times now and the moe once, so it doesn't seem to bad of an increase to me. ^^

Well I messed up on converting my time to MST... we've got another 50 mins and I am leaving for work now ;A; I'll have to make the order from my phone or work computer.

 

And ordered! Took me less than a minute to include everything I really hope I get my first invoice soon.

Ordered the seahorse basic + legs in tan with two extra handsets and probably heeled feet (asked DDE to add them in if they find out from FL she only has flat feet)
She'll be a bioluminescent sea witch with LEDs in her tail to simulate the rainbow bioluminescent deep sea jellyfish have . ( those awesome box comb jellyfish ones specifically that have the rainbow runners down their sides)
