Fairyland Feeple60 Discussion - part eleven

Thank you @rex I'm really excited! I actually did make one change to my order already. I swear DDE customer service is the most amazing thing. I realized after looking at the tan resin comparison (thank you @Cuteasadoll by the way!!) that I have this really great idea for what I want to do for a custom faceup on a tan Cygne, so I should have bought my basic in tan and not the fullset in tan. Plus I would rather have my vampire in natural skin. And after watching the video back, she really is the most lovely doll against the white clothes. So I'm going to plan on this adventure. I still have to order my Lucywen fullset, but I am going to order my tan basic Cygne at the same time. Thank god for my work Christmas bonus. It really could go to more important things I'm sure, but the whole point of a Christmas bonus is that it's a Christmas present, right? Haha...that is how I'm justifying this. And after talking with some people on DoA, I really want Cygne in both skin tones...I just originally ordered it backwards. And knowing fairyland...we may never see Cygne again. So I need to get her while I can. I'm going to actually save money this way too. So that is a major bonus. I am so excited for her! So many big plans! And congrats to everyone else who got their girls too. I can't wait to see what people do with their girls as well.

I am sorry I was too slow to show you a photo of the two feeples in tan in normal, but I am happy that you could clear up your mind, and of course that you will be able to order Lucywen too!, this will be the best Christmas present and I totally agree, Christmas bonus is that it's a Christmas present!! *______*. I ordered Cygne in both colors, because she is just the perfect doll to me!
I was afraid too that FL maybe will not offer her again in the future, even if they did not say that she is limited like Liria, I was afraid anyway, so this was the perfect chance to get them in both colors, so I think you are going to save money this way!. I got Liria not long ago and I had to pay a lot of money just only for the head, so I did not want to have to make the same with Cygne! XDDD

 

@brighteyes22, Thank you! I'm glad I'm not the only one who got more than one! I had a similar situation to you and your Liria. I realized too late how much I like Lacrima. But I won't hold my breath about finding a tan Lacrima with default face up on the marketplace. I wish I could've gotten a tan vampire head for Cygne, but I was already pushing the wallet with two basics.

 

I totally understand you!!, Lacrima is so cute and beautiful! but do not lose hope, maybe one day you will find her in tan and with the default face up *___*. I was lucky enough to get the vampire version of Cygne, since I ordered Cygne as a full set in normal skin and a basic Cygne in tan skin color. I still do not know though what to do with it, but I am sure I will love her too!!, but do not worry for not having gotten her, since i think a lot of people will receive her with their full set and some of them will go straight to the market place XDD

I'm joining the club too XD Also missed out on Liria and had to spend a lot when I found one!!!!! So I got two Cygnes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Oh they are stunning! They look so pretty posed by the tree too!

And gosh darn it, someday I will spend a small fortune to find a Liria to go with my feeple Cygnes too. Haha.

What size eyes do Feeple60s usually take? I'm going to make a Mako eyes order at some point and I'm just looking at all the pretty eyes and making all these fun plans for my girls, but I've never had that size. I know a lot of people have different preferences depending on realism, but what size do you all usually buy for your feeples? And does anyone already have mako eyes in your feeples and have pictures you would care to spam? Also any other eye recommendations?

Also just in case anyone is making plans with their fullset outfits for Cygne, Amadiz Studios has the most stunning wig that would be so epic with the ensemble.

Well, it depends on the doll itself^^. I personally prefer my dolls not to look so realistic, I like big eyes . My girls for example wear bigger eyes than "normal"/"realistic" size for them, Chloe uses in my last picture 18mm and Mirwen is wearing 14mm.
I know most of people use 16mm for Chloe size for example, but as I said, 18mm look very pretty for my taste in her^^.

I guess the best thing you can do is to look at other pictures with different sizes to compare and you will decide the size you like the most^^. I have to buy new eyes and I love mako eyes too, will take a look as soon as possible *_____*

I use 16mm in my Celine!

 

I use Makoeyes for all my dolls. My three Chloes and my Lishe wear 16mm, while my Celine and Rin use 14mm.
In my opinion, the newer releases seem to have smaller eye wells so I have plans to buy 14mm Makos for my Cygne.

Hopefully some day I will have the time and energy to take a pic of all my F60s again even if my Rin is blank. XD;; Maybe after Cygne arrives(is so lazy/busy)

I just ordered a bunch of new Oscar Doll Floris eyes for Cygne and her dark twin!

 

Oh how exciting!! They are going to look gorgeous! I love Oscar eyes too! Definitely post lots and lots of pics when you get them!

 

I'm pretty excited. These are my very first Oscar eyes. I was very fortunate to get the in stock eyes I wanted. I will definitely post pics when I receive them!

Just for the heck of it, since I never put him in here, this is my Dreaming Moon, Yuzuki, on a Feeple60 body.
I still hope & pray for some form of these boy bodies coming back!!!

 

He is so handsome!! *___*. And I think you are right, even if I am more for girls than for boys they should create new boys, and of course bring back the existing heads like Rona, Siean or Luka on the feeple60..... T____T

 

Just out of curiosity, I noticed that someone asked on the fairyland CS board about bodies ever being available to buy separate. Was wondering if it was anyone on this page. Cause I know that feeple60 bodies, littlefee bodies, realfees and maybe one other one aren't available for purchase separately. I was hoping it was someone on DoA and that it was about feeples. I see it was answered and was curious what the answer was. Anyway...if it wasn't about anyone on here...obviously not going to get answered, and if it wasn't about feeples...well you probably aren't hanging out on this page. Haha.

Also I've heard that each head can take different sized wigs depending on which sculpt you have. Some seem to be a bit bigger than others. Was curious what size wigs you all typically buy. Seems like the feeple60 event head is three times the size of the other heads, but I know that is because it just has a much larger forehead. Is anyone actually keeping theirs? I've heard most people aren't. I haven't really heard anyone talk about any plans they have for it. Is anyone in here qualifying for it and getting it or did you all opt for the minifee head? Saw a post on IG where someone pointed out that they thought the minifee event head looked like mini Sionna sculpt. Very good call on their part!

It would be a miracle if they would let us buy the bodies separate, and re-release old sculpts..

 

If woosoo ever gets released that's an instant buy for me . I've had two and sold two and regret both sales terribly, so if they ever released one that would be me done

 

I'd be dead by a F60 Woosoo! I love the sculpt. It's still on my wishlist for mnf size.

I'm not holding my breath for new boys. Last time I asked about reopening lines, FL said that they cut back on what is available and only does what is more popular to keep from falling behind. Since the girls are more popular, it means no boys. It's sucks and is unfair, but FL doesn't seem to be making the best choices with things lately anyway. I have one boy and two heads to share that body. I'd love to get another body so they each can have their own.

Gah! How could they possibly have any clue that a boy wouldn't be popular when they refuse to release one in the first place?!? *shakes fist*


and I mean really release one that they put as much effort into as their girls, not some weird pinchy- faced breakaway wannabe (Lookin at you, Ital) or strange cro-magnon jawed sea monkey (sorry, Roke)

 

Maybe they are basing it on how well the minifee sales went with Rohan? Or on how well they used to do? Cause they used to have big boys, right? Who knows their logic? I do wish they would bring some boys back though.

 

I'm dying to own a Feeple or Delf Lishe in white skin. Fairyland is my only hope in getting one unless she magically appears on the MP. I don't see the harm in putting the boy sculpts up for sale, or the "old" ones considering they are available in Minifee size.. There are a plethora of MNF sculpts to choose from, so why make the Feeple60 option lack that variety??

So about the feeple60 boys, I've recently asked if they will become available again and FL said they may do a feeple60 in moe version. That was a huge disspointment to me as I find the a line boy really beautiful and don't care for the look of the moe boy :/

 

@RoyalBarjack Well I for one could actually use some Feeple60 moe boy bodies for a couple of my boys who are supposed to be
smaller/more svelte etc. so I'd be very happy with that. I do think however that it would be best if they had more than just moe, so that people can have a variety of looks. I'd be happy with them just having anything for the boys though. Old Feeple60, newer made-over one, Moe, or Fairyline

For me, it doesn't matter if they are on aline or moe, I just want the feeple boys to be available.
I personally think they look best with the fl girls, and I need a feeple karsh in tan, like yesterday!

 

I want Yrin too..at least that body! I'm hoping if they did a moe body it wouldn't be just like the mnf, that it'd be different and better proportioned. I just think having one that is shorter would be nice for some of my couples.

 

@LuckyXIII , @Ravenwolf , is Yrin that boy whose face lasted a few days in the fairyland history and suddenly disappeared? I don't recall having ever seen a picture of him. Did you succeed in taking a picture of the screen for the few days he was made available?

Wait!!! Please share! You all made me really curious about this sculpt now! I've never seen it, nor did I ever heard about it!!!!

 

Here is a link that has the pictures. They were even going to do an event (with event head(s)). Le sigh.

 

Yrin is the impossible dream... every year I ask FL about him and every year they say they have zero plans to ever release him....

I'd be fine with a moe boy body... I want another boy celine but in f60 size... as well as a karsh =D;;

 

I asked them right after they pulled the listing because I was ready to buy him. They said something along the lines of "thank you for liking our creation. We will pass along your wish to the designers". Maybe I'll ask them again to release him, but just his head into the alacarte. That way they don't have to deal with that new body they made (though I wish they would) but we'd still get a great sculpt. Still wishful thinking, I know. T_T

 

I got that response the first two times I asked, but now I get the they have no plans to release. Not even "Pass along your wish to the designers." any more TT^TT
I hope they wake up and realize that many of us want him...

Maybe now would be a good time since they finished making the centaur body which I'm sure they were using all their time on. I'm guessing that is also why they've cut back on so many of the lines and sculpts. I'll have money to buy a boy now too (or at least put one on layaway).

 

They did have a petition made once, not sure what it amounted to. Had its own website and everything. I forget how long ago it was but I'm fairly certain it was still in this section of Feeple60 discussion.

 

Yeah @Charm505 had a petition going, and I'm not sure of it's status at the moment. I haven't asked her in a while, but I thought she was dealing with some health issues?

 

I just think it never hurts to ask! Even if people have asked before it may be a good thing to ask again cuz maybe they'll be like "hey people still want that even after all this time"

 

Yes, and I think too it could be possible since they would not have so much work to release him because they already have the doll mold and pictures done. I am personally not interested in boys, but I would be more than happy to help you all out with the petition

Petition is still up - very sorry everyone for the delay. I will be having my second surgery this Monday. As soon as I get my hands better I will submit to Fairyland. Very very sorry for this long delay. Definitely want more Fairyland boys

Wish I can do more to help everyone wishing for Fairyland boys.

 

I still think the sudden pull of Yrin and then the ending of the sales of boys has something to do with a legal issue, possibly with LUTS as LUTS still has the rights to the type 3 and 4 bodies cerebus project made. I also believe this is why they only sell Moe girls and not the original feeple60 girl bodies. Why they just don't completely redo the bodies to avoid these possible issues, I don't know, but I can't think of any other reason for the company to go so far as to post a doll up for sale only to suddenly have to take it down with no explanations other than they were at risk for violating some sort of contract or were told they'd be sued.

 

They *did* re-do the bodies... The F60 bodies aren't the same bodies that the old CP/Delfs had. There are several discussion and picture threads here on DoA detailing the differences, if you're curious.

 

I'm not sold on that explanation, like @Brightfires said they ^did^ re-do the bodies and it's far too late in the game for a viable threat of legal action (if you sit on your rights they're considered waived, which is why cease and desist letters go out so fast)
It seems much more likely to me that the head(s) of the design team have some very expensive pet projects they want to push through (new centaur release and the amazing F60 seahorse come to mind) and thanks to Fairyland's habit of sabotaging their own lines (ie short ordering/notice periods on very expensive dolls and then pointing to sales numbers they consider disappointing as justification for not making things available) they've come to the conclusion that there's not a strong enough market for X so they won't offer it. I think they expect every line to do was well as the Minifees, but completely overlook the fact that there are 3 MNF body options (with multiple bust options, oh my!) for both the girls and the guys, 2-3 times the number of headsculpts to choose from, way more hand options, and the simple fact that, while pricey, a fair number of people seem to be able to scrape together the funds for a $400-something doll on short notice far easier than a $500-something doll. Also people want the MNF event heads because they can actually buy bodies separately for them and not have an army of floating heads rolling around - fancy that!
