Fairyland Feeple60 Discussion - Part 13

@Galahndriel, I'll second @Arkelle's suggestion, and add that yes, it does take some practice and it also helps to have the Moe body strung a bit on the tight side. They're great posers, but I find mine is more fiddly and takes more patience than my other SDs, and I definitely need her to be strung more tightly than my normal preference for her to keep her stability and to sit completely upright. Fairyland usually sends them strung that tightly, and I've made the mistake (twice!) of re-stringing them and lost that mobility for a bit until I went back and fixed it. Usually, I'm too lazy to fiddle with mine, and they just lounge leaning back on things when I'm not taking photos.

 

Now that she actually has a face, I'd like introduce Anemone, Annie for short. She's an antisocial witch who lives in the woods to avoid human contact.

She's far too beautiful to hide away from the world, @Galahndriel ! She needs a talkative overly social friend that attaches themselves to her and is blind to her attempts to get rid of them, LOL.

And BTW, what a wonderful faceup! I love her hair too!

 

Thank you! I’m glad you like her. She lives with her Social butterfly twin sister who always gets her into trouble. She’s not blind to Annie’s antisocial ways, she just doesn’t care lol

Yaaaay, Erda should be here tomorrow. Poor guy's just gonna get yeeted (yote?) into the headbox in favor of the...Nanuri B (???) that's been waiting for a body for....uh. Years. But I'm interested to see how this body compares to the F60 boy I used to have back when they first came out.

Whew, I've neglected this thread for a long time! I have missed seeing all of your dolls!

I really need to order another wig for my Feeples, but since both are sharing the same body right now I figured they can both share the same wig too! All good things come with time...… Maybe.

 

@Animethemed - that's a nice color for her. I sort of miss the days when everyone was here. photos are all over the place nowadays.

 

Seriously thinking about getting myself an Erda, so to those of you with the 60 motion line boy bodies, how is it fitting into regular sd boy clothes? He looks a little on the thin side.

 

Does anyone have a Nanuri 17 done up? I kinda impulse purchased one a little bit ago and I'm struggling to get her ''look'' down.

Erda is waiting at DDE. now I just have to decide whether to pay him off now or just shorten the wait by a month or....?
So looking forward to posing him and seeing what fits here amidst my Beach Bum mob. I'm planning on robes, fantasy outfits, so tailored suits won't be needed, but there are a few in SD size.

 

Got my Erda in! and then wasted a bunch of time waffling about whether or not i liked this head on there as intended. I think I've decided I do like it?? The resin difference isn't too bad, considering that the head is. uh. seven years old? oof.

 

Kinda fell off the bandwagon here again missing all the beautiful pictures!

Huge congratulations on Erda's home coming, @Nasa ! Or at least his body, LOL. So is he a 2012? Very cute

 

Yup, he's a Nanuri-B from the event back then and has been waiting for a body pretty much the whole time. Whoops.

The biggest problem I have with it is that the key for the new body is sliiiightly smaller then the hole, so he has a bit of a rattley head. I might try going in with a layer of white glue and see if i can build up the head hole a bit for more stability.

 

Or try some hot glue, it'll be more like a harder layer of plastic?! Just wipe it on the hole's edges only. I don't know why, but I find that there is a large variation in the head hole sizes. Sometimes I have to open them up as well

That'd be fun. I am not the best at creating poses due to lack of creativity. My poses look more like manipulations as opposed to poses, LOL. This is something I hope to improve.

 

I'd like to take a pic of all my CP dolls together. my first two up to Erda. 2004-2019. !
I did a group shot many years ago. time to update it. 14 + a few heads. only 2 have moved on to new homes over the years.
CP is my favorite company. removable hands and feet. gorgeous legs. not quite realistic but not too anime faces. wonderful outfits.

 

I've finally got a tentative concept for my girl! She's going to be one of the dnd characters I played a while back. I'm hesitant to work on her faceup until her body arrives for some reason...but I really should order her eyes.

Guys I wonder, do you think they will ever add Rona back to Feeple60 list? She's one of my grails and I do hate that I lost the opportunity to own her when I did.

 

Okay guys...

I'm just so very frustrated with my girls at the moment that I'm about to throw them on the marketplace T-T; could someone please tell me how I can find clothing for these bodies?

Searches for 'Feeple60 Moe' always wind up empty. Are there any other doll sizes they can wear? What am I doing wrong?

 

@Siara Noo~ Don't give up on your girls yet! I have one of my girls in DollHeart's SD 10/13 size and it fits her well. I've got another in a Volks SD13 outfit, it's a bit long in the sleeves but still looks good on her (I should note sometimes Volks clothes can be a bit tight around the F60 girls waists so things that are looser or elasticised will work best for them) I'm sure others have more suggestions but these are ones I've tried so far.

 

@Siara I've bought clothes for my Feeple60 Moe girl from TTYA and all the SD10/SD13 stuff I have bought has fit her! It is kinda rough finding clothes (Minifee seem to be the easiest to shop for, ha) but I've found things from TTYA and others on Etsy. Good luck in your search!

 

@Siara I see many patterns on etsy that are listed for Smartdoll *and* Feeple 60. I'm not sure if they mean F60 Moe though. But it might be something to look into.

 

So both SD10 and SD13 items might possibly fit Feeple60 Moe girls? Or do I need to look for items that mention both sizes specifically? Sorry for the stupid questions but because clothing items are expensive I usually need to save a few months and it would be really dissapointed if something ends up not fitting. x__x; I wish I had the time to sew clothes myself but I hardly have time to inhale my food lately.

 

I've actually had a pretty easy time dressing my Feeple60 girls! SD10/13 almost always fits well (and when it doesn't, it's because it's too loose, which can be fixed with a few tiny safety pins), as does Sadol, Luts Delf (but not Senior Delf), TTYA, Code Noir, DollHeart, Cheery Doll, and of course lots of Etsy sellers. It helps that the Feeple60 girls are actually very close to Dolfie Dream-sized (DD has a smaller waist, that's about it) and I have a big DD collection.

 

Yeah. The regular Feeple60 girls seem to do pretty well with SD13-sized outfits... Things sized to fit Delf girls work for them, too.

The F60 Moe body is a different story. I don't have one myself, but one of my local friends does, and she's had a heck of a time with her girl. SD13 and Dollfie Dream sized outfits from Volks tend to be a little long and not quite as well-fitted in the waist, bust or hip area as she'd like. Luts Delf outfits are a little better, but still too long. SID-sized Iple outfits didn't work at all. Neither did an older SoulDoll outft I had.

She's been able to alter a few SD13 things picked up from Etsy and the "usual suspects" (Tata's, rRabbit and such-) and made them work, but in the end it's looking like the real answer is either going to be commissions or learning to sew herself. (That was my suggestion, but Lori's a total sewing n00b. She says it's intimidating. )

 

I should have clarified, I have nothing but F60 Moe -- I don't have any of the original Feeple60 girls. My only girls are Scarlett (Fairyline 60, almost identical to F60 Moe), Ria (same), and an even head on Carol's body (a true F60 Moe, altho with the "long" legs which barely add anything). Yup, they're shorties so some stuff is a little long for them, but I really haven't found it all that troublesome. But it may also be styling, as I don't typically dress my girls in modern stuff. Some styles might be easier to come across in the right fit.

...I also own a ton of Dollfie Dreams and a climbing number of Iris Collect Azones, so my clothing box might look a little different from the typical resin collector's.

 

I'll try and find some items for SD10 or SD13 on the cheap then to see if they can work. I can't sew although I'd love to learn. Dressing the Moe body has really been a chore. They're still in their birth suits...poor things.

On that note, does anyone own the FLA sculpt? I'd like to know what wig and eye size they take so I can browse around.

 

Oooh, I do! My Hitomi is an FLA60. The wig she currently has is an 8.5inch, and she suits either 14mm/16mm eyes best, imo. :]

 

Ah thank you! Hitomi looks really good :3 she makes me like the sculpt a little more already.

 

@petiteballerine That's a great idea, taking a group picture of only the FL dolls. I only have girls, but that's OK, it'd make a cool picture I think I'll try that soon... ish, LOL. I've been so busy, and fell behind on this board!

@Thymeseer a lot of my dolls are becoming D&D characters or else other game characters that I play Lots of fun!

@Siara It would also help if you gave us an idea of how you want to dress your doll/dolls. You might get even better pointers

Hi!! Sorry is this is a question that has been asked- I am getting a F60 moe soon and I am just wondering if regular SD13 shoes(especially heels) fit F60 feet? Thank you!!;-;

 

Gosh, I wish I could help... well, let me see what I have... nope, only have Iplehouse size pumps, and they're way too big. I'm curious what works as well, @Addictiya as I'd love to make use of heels for my girl The feet are fat, wide and short FYI 61mm long (straight, tip to tip) and 27mm wide. They absolutely won't fit minifee shoes as they're just too fat. I'm not a fan of these feet, but it's all we got :P

I find dollmore shoes to be wide, has anyone tried a pair with these feet?

 

I haven't tried their heels but i have a couple pairs of dollmore msd flats that fit the moe feet perfectly

 

Thank you for all the info!! Yeah.. I find most SD shoes 74mm long, since she will be my only girl I don't want to spent a lot of money on shoes only to find out they don't work haha!
