Wow, that does look super close, but anything tight fitting, I can see causing trouble. Actually, I do have one Volks SD16 suit that my Lishe wears, I didn't think about that. My turn to see if I have the energy!! LOL (undress, dress x...4?

Nope, looking at my Ingrid, and remembering putting that outfit on her yesterday (PAIN IN THE %$%^) I just tried on the jacket, it pulls a little at the chest but otherwise closes. I think the pants would fit, as they stretch slightly and are rather loose on my April Story. Certainly, they'd fit at the thigh,

Thanks @aireoko , I found it already though and am completely in trouble, and have no idea how I can pull this off. If I have to buy the full set to get that faceplate, OMGosh, I'm so dead!

 

Same! I'm mostly worry about the tan options being available because I have a character I want to build that is perfect in tan. But I also want NS.... this year been a disaster for my wallet and self control (I had none already)

 

Ugh, count me in on the no self control camp. I sincerely hope they are more lenient with the event faceplate and at least allow anyone buying a basic doll to get one

So someone asked earlier in this thread, if the male hands will fit on the female body. Was there ever an answer to that? We only have two choices for hands, which seems rather sad :P

 

I just ordered an Angela FS in tan. This will be my first Feeple65. I'm so excited.

 

I was planning on ordering through DDE but think tan will be sold out when DDE have the listing up. Ugh I want a tan feeple65 but also the the Angela NS headplate but can't afford to buy 2 feeple65 in one sitting lol

 

Ugh I’m about to start a layaway I shouldn’t because of that tan Angela. I’m so glad they’re giving us tan, but oh god, the timing here.

 

I hope you have time to buy your Angela. She's very beautiful.

BTW I have a request to anyone that got their Ingrid and still has the outer shipping box... Could anyone measure the outer shipping box for me? My Ingrid's delivery might take a while, and I was thinking of paying her customs fees in person, once they are raised by customs here, but would need to check how big the box is, so I know if I would be able to transfer it myself from the customs depot afterwards...

 

They have her in TAN???? I hate Fairyland!!! Hate hate hate them!!! LOL I really don't think I'll be able to order I'm pretty sure I can't.

@SolInvictus my outer box was 7x10x32 inches or just under 18x26x82 centimeters

 

DDE also have it in tan as well. For now until the 40 amount (according to FL event page) is up. I'm in debating about ordering Tan now and worry about NS later since there is still time for NS. Either try to find a split for the NS plate or run a split order myself just to get the headplate and event plate.

On a different note, an extra 60 days on top to the 60 days for the fullset just to get the event head painted. Yikes but understandable with everything that's going on.

 

Congrats to everyone ordering Angela! I can't wait to see owners photos of her! If I had the extra funds and space, I'd totally try to get a tan version. She's going to be a real stunner!

 

OK, this is DDE's fault I thought you had to pay 30% to order layaway but that's not the case! I .... I um .... Oh G*d ... I put Angela on 9 months layaway 2 weeks before Xmas! I finished buying Xmas goodies, and ended with barely enough to do this, and I'm so so so so freakin excited and horrified with myself at the same time! Luckily I didn't have to contemplate tan or no, or gauntlets, or no. I can't do any of those things. But I did get the full set for the lip biting face plate, I can't resist that! And now, I'm wondering... did I choose the right event item? I chose the unknown random box, will I be disappointed? What do you guys think? Anyway, I'll still be the last to receive my doll as I also have to pay for a MNF for the first 4 months, so yah, maybe I can cut out a couple of months toward the end, but that's still 7 months of waiting for me

 

If I were participating in the event, I would definitely go for the box! Dolls can never have too many wigs or shoes.

 

I didn't get the gauntlets, do you think that's a mistake? Ugh, now I'm second guessing myself You made me feel better about the box choice though, thanks @ittybittykittyz

 

Yes, they gave dolls in a tan, Dina too.

 

You know, I like tan dolls best of every style but I both couldn't afford the doll in the first place, and just didn't think that tan was necessary for this sculpt, though undoubtedly the tan versions are going to be amazing. I'm glad I was able to squeeze in an order with that bity lip face, it's so cute! I think I like the original Angela face better only because I tend not to go for open mouths, but any Angela is better than no angela, right? LOL

Too bad the sleeping face plate still has an open mouth. Do you think she snores??

 

I was itching to get my hand on a tan doll for a while. I had a tan Ringdoll and always miss having a tan doll in my collections after I sold her. I was waiting for tan to come back for the minifee but Feeple65 it is since they rarely have tan for the Feeple60. Maybe while I wait for the tan body to arrive, I can finally finish on Final Fantasy Fran costume from my original plan.

I saw some folks on facebook disappointed by the bitten lip face, and I would understand if it was the default and only one, but just as additional faceplate I think it is amazing for getting different facial expressions, especially if someone likes to do photostories.

Would be fun for Fairyland to do more of those in the future - maybe with tongue licking the lips, or a slightly crooked smirk...

 

Why are they disappointed with a face with a bitten lip? After all, the face is really beautiful. Although I was also a little disappointed with Dina's head at first, but then I started to find her face funny.

 

I just got confirmation from DDE that Angela full package won't come with heel feet and Fairyland is not offering Tan heel feet for the Feeple65 at the moment. I'm stuck at the same problem as my last tan doll where I need the heel feet in order to make Fran costumes lol. Guess I can always color match using the normal skin heel feet.

I love the new face and expression Fairland is doing. I do wish it wasn't always event special because there is only so many doll I can afford or so many split that is available now a days.

 

Oh, that's sad. I thought that the heel of the foot should be in the kit. Thank you for telling me about this.

 

Yeah it's strange they didn't this time. They usually do in their fullset and I notice that the minifee set also didn't say heel feet either. I wonder if they are doing this to help prevent production issues?

 

My Feeple65 Ingrid arrived yesterday! She's absolutely beautiful and I'm enjoying figuring out her posing and photographing her. I decided to name her Specter because I've always given my dolls unusual names haha. I don't have much for her yet, so she's borrowing a few bits from my Feeple60 girls.

 

oh that robe is so beautiful on her, I love the wig too! Can't wait to see you you design her, you do such amazing work

 

Well, I just wrote Fairyland directly to ask if heel feet were really not included (and maybe if enough of us complain, they will include them??)

But really, no heel feet? Oof. My dolls wear their heel feet pretty exclusively, so that would be rough for me...
That said, I had a strange and sudden loss of need for Medusa? I'm quite taken by surprise because she is a lot of things I had been waiting for. But just a couple of days before she was released I found I suddenly didn't want to order her anymore? I guess I'll see how it goes, but for the moment I'll just wait and enjoy all the lovely girls that get shared here.

 

I wish that had happened to me! @Lady Ravenswood, but the opposite happened. I just really wanted her, especially to go with my Ingrid. I fell in love with that stupid bitey lip thing too. The way DDE has the choices, I thought I had to decide if I wanted the gauntlets or not, but I think that's just for painting, right? I hope so, I would love to get them! But to keep cost down, I said no. This is going to be the longest layaway ever, but I'm glad I did it. It's a double layaway as I also put a Marcia mnf on layaway just last week, so yah. I'm committed to a lot of payments when it would have been better just to commit myself.

 

May I ask for F65 spam? Any and all dolls. Chloe, Siean, Sylvia, Ital, Angela 1, and especially Roke and Rho!!!! Show off your sleeping face plates too! I'll try and do some nicer pictures myself. This is going to be a long wait, and I'd love to challenge everyone to take great pictures I'm still working on my camera (bought a nice canon T5i with a broken shutter, got everything but can't find my little solder iron, LOL. Need to remove the little capacitor that is attached to the old shutter) But as soon as I get that back together, I'll be spamming away photos and hope you all will too

I am sorely tempted by Angela "Type 2" and I love the sleeping and the lip biting face! I'd love tan but the no high heel option or additional hands is a bit odd. I'd really prefer for her to have heel feet...my girls love their high heeled shoes

 

Well, I've already written to them asking about it, and I figure the more of us who complain or ask, the better, no? Especially that they need to offer tan heeled feet for extra purchase, that just doesn't make sense not to! @LyanneNZ and everyone else

DDE isn't going to fight for us, least I don't think so.

@Yuns did you mod her? Did you give her teeth, or just paint them?

 

I've given her teeth, reshaped and drilled her ears (though her hair is covering it here so you can't really tell) sanded down her nipples for a more subtle look and did a mobility mod that allows her to sit more firmly and easily. I'm quite proud of all the work I've done on her, if I do say so myself.

 

Wait, they don’t sell the heel feet for Angela? I bought a pair with my Ingrid.

 

The heel feet was part of Ingrid fullset but not in Medusa for some reason. I wonder if it's because of the Sabaton shoes?

I'm super excited for Ingrid to arrive and hope she will arrive before Christmas. I think the extra resin shoes in the order as well is delaying her.

I'm really excited to see Angela photos already, haha. That's disappointing to hear about the tan heel feet. I hope they'll reconsider adding them.

 

You did a mobility mod?!
Was it on the old Feeple65 body with the magnets in the shoulders?
My Chloe is on the old body and she really is tricky to handle.
Do you have a video or pictures showing how you did it?

 

Oh, do you have a workshop project journal thread or some such to show how/what you did? I would love to see it!!! (too, just saw @Lilla saying the same thing )

Yah, I mean, it's one thing not to do the heel feet because the doll comes with special resin shoes, but not to offer to sell you tan heeled feet as an extra is just not right. People rightly want to be able to buy all the options for a new doll. This would actually include the one other pair of hands in tan as well. Sure some people may forego those extras, but if we can't get them now, when will we be able to? The way they shut down dolls and remove tan as an option, you're not likely to catch them reselling these option parts.

 

I think that this is due to the workload of production and they are trying to reduce it.

 

It's the old body with the magnets in the arms (which I also removed, haha), yep! I have a project journal here. You guys wouldn't believe how simple of a mod it is! I've strung my girl from head to feet instead of using the O-rings on the knees, but it should work just as well with the old stringing method too. If the images don't show up, because DoA has been having that issue lately, just press reply and they'll be visible on the post preview. I hope it helps!

It will be entering 2021, I still waiting for feeple65 Roke.

 

Yah, @kiraein I don't think we're going to get it They're already stopping the sale of most of their a la carte dolls as well. I'm sad, and broke now because of them! I had to decide on getting a doll I've been wanting to find 2nd hand, but never did, so I had to take the plunge with that one and Medusa Angela, or forever hold my peace So next year I'm starting in layaway debt, ugh!

Oh, and Fairyland wrote me back, but all they said was that heel feet don't come with the full set.

 

It's sad, because I want to change my Medusa from time to time, but she won't have heel feet.

 

Yah, but they didn't address the ability to buy a pair of tan feet, they just said the feet don't come with. @Lerika I'm not going to pursue it because I'm not buying a tan doll, but I really think that those of you who are, should be asking them to make them available to purchase. You might not get another chance to order them.

I already asked them to make the tan heel feet available in the parts section, since I can see normal and white available, but not tan.

I asked last friday on the 1:1 care board but no reply yet..

Fairyland just replied back to me about the tan feet - the generic they will forward to the production team. They did that last time about the #12 hands so finger cross for tan heel feet in the near future!

 

I didn't understand, do they want to add heel feet to the order or do they want to make them a separate sale?

 

They are just considering the request at the moment. It's the generic message they always give when we send them a request or suggestions. They gave me that same message when Ingrid first came out and hand #12 and separate heel feet wasn't available for order. So hopefully, they'll do the same with the tan heels if people request it enough. Unfortunately, it will need to be a separate order.

 

@aireoko Thank you for explaining it to me. Even if they are open to selling separately for the heel feet in the sun it will be good.

 

Thanks for the updates on this! I had ... almost...decided not to think about Angela any more if I can't get heel feet for her. Now she has my attention again

 

I hope you end up getting one @LyanneNZ because you do the most gorgeous pictures, do you do your faceups as well?

 

Good news my fellow tan heel people. Tan heel options is now available on the drop down on Fairlandwebsite. I'm going to email DDE and see if they can add that options as well.
