Fairyland Feeple 65 Discussion Part 6

Well, Although I'd love a boy as well, I'm just glad they released something! I always worry they will kill off the line. When is the last time we had a Chicline doll? At least I really liked Ingrid, I think she's gorgeous. I'd love for them to re-release Roke, Rho or Angela now My fingers are crossed that there will be more opportunities for a winter sale???

 

Hello..... So Ingrid is my first doll in over a year, and I'm super excited and I think some of you early birds will be getting your dolls soonish and the boards have gone so quiet everywhere and I'm lonely and talking to myself all the time. So uh.... anybody out there? So how about another crappy nighttime photo of Lora to brighten the thread up? (dark and dingy photo to brighten??) And may I ask for pretty pictures???

 

Ingrid is lovely and I was so very tempted. I'm a lurker on this thread as I don't have a Feeple65 but have had the opportunity to play with and photograph them a couple of times I can't wait to see incoming Ingrids! Thanks for sharing Lora!

Also, you know how Fairyland has all these face sculpts that are repeated in different sizes, like Chloe and Lishe and Mirwen etc...? Well, although I'm usually not a fan of huge eyes for my own dolls, I do love the mnf Marcia and have been hoping Fairyland would make a larger Marcia. Is it just me, or does Ingrid have similarities to Marcia? What I love about Marcia is her little lips and wide jaw line:

So what's it going to take to get some F65 spam here? I'd really love to see some of the older girls?? I also love Angela, ine and Sylvia and any, Any, ANY if the boys!

Also, none of Fairyland's pictures on their site have been loading for me for a long time. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks

@IngieBee Lol, you did misidentify him! Unfortunately, there are no Shiwoos at F65 size. This gentleman is a Scar Ital, which is just another name for a Scar BA. And you are right, it is a version of the MNF Scar BA head, it was what was created after Fairyland's original plan for the F60 event head went awry.

 

What was the original plan, and what went awry @TeaPartyRevolution ? I don't remember anymore

 

When the F60s were released, Fairyland said that they were going to have "the most popular MNF event head" recreated as an F60 event head.

I presume they meant in terms of popularity and how many they had created in literal terms. However, some people complained (quite a few of them on this forum) that they thought that the most popular MNF event head was the Juri 08 - mainly because there weren't many of them around and people were always on the look out for them.
As I pointed out at the time, the Juri 08 was a re-creation of the Delf Juri 2005, which was not a particularly popular event head - there were about 8-9 Delf Juri 05s on the DoA marketplace at the time, (I spent years attempting to sell one that I had).

However, Fairyland scrapped the original event head, which was most likely a Scar BA (The Scar BA is the only event head Fairyland have released in two versions - OE and sleeping), and recreated the Juri 08 as the F60 Juri 12. It's not a particularly popular event head even now.
The next release, they released 4 Itals (BAs) - an F65 with two event faceplates (eye and nose scar) and the Chicline. That to me suggested that they were trying to placate those who had wanted an F60 BA.

Anyway, it was a long time ago, and Fairyland have since stopped making their original sculpts, even though they had promised to release them all in every size, so I've pretty much given up on an F60 BA, or an F65 Lishe, or a Pukifee of either.

Here's one of my other Itals, Alastir, to make us happier again.

 

I remember that event and it causing a lot of grumbling, LOL. I think they learned not to announce any details, LOL. I would LOVE a Lishe Feeple65, but I would be happy at another chance at some that have already been created. I'm sad this size appears to be unpopular. I'm always talking to myself here, LOL Thanks for the history @TeaPartyRevolution

 

Oh, it did create a lot of grumbling. Lots and lots and lots.

I would love more Lishes in any size - she looks so good as a Chicline, that she would look incredible as an F65... and then I could get my hands on the F65 girl body. I don't have one of those. [I've got or had pretty much every other body except for Fairyline and Moe]

 

Lishe 65 would be so cool. I have Lishe Elf from 2004 with 3 heads. (she doesn't wear them all at once) and chicline Lishe. That face - and her pinky finger hand - are classic.

 

I agree, I absolutely love my chicline Lishe and it's too bad I didn't get her with the faceup, as she has had to make due with my (ehem) artwork. I should try and see if I've gotten any better since those days...?? On the one hand, I think I'm a little more skilled, on the other, I'm also a lot older, and her head is SO small!!

Chic-line Lishe almost looks like her mouth is open, would it be sacrilege if they gave her teeth if they made her size 65? What do you all think @petiteballerine and @TeaPartyRevolution ??? Maybe the kind that you install like eyeballs inside the faceplate?

 

@IngieBee Her mouth really isn't open far enough for teeth - nowhere near as open as the F65 Itals, and they only just have teeth.
Plus I don't think CP would change a sculpt that much.

 

I also would adore a F65 Lishe that's in line aesthetically with Chicline Lishe!
I love my Chicline Lishe.

 

Well, not that I want teeth, it just looked like her mouth was a bit open on the chicline and it made me wonder how that would translate to F65 @TeaPartyRevolution

I know, wouldn't that be awesome @Lady Ravenswood ? I'd still love an Angela but I'd be stoked to have a Lishe. I'm not as insane, (lovingly) as TeaPartyRevolution with getting every Lishe ever created, but if I had the funds, I'd probably love to do that too I'm just too much like my dog.... Squirrel !!! LOL I can't be dedicated to Lishe, man I feel so slutty now! LOL

 

There might be a little bit of insanity involved in my 22 Lishes... sure. But every one ever made? Not even close!

And she's such a beautiful sculpt, who could blame me?

As for how she would look, pretty much exactly like the Chicline, except bigger. I am wishing that I had taken a photo comparing my Chicline Ital and my F65 Itals, but I haven't. But they are exactly the same, much in the same way that there is essentially little difference in a MNF head and a Delf head if you discount their size. [The LTF doesn't count, since often they have made the sculpt more child-like].

The last group shot I took of my BA/Itals only included faceplates of the F65 boys, so I'm not sure if it's particularly OT for the thread. You can find it here. When I get home I'll get the boys out and see if I can get some photos comparing my Chicline and F65 Itals so you can see it for yourselves. (Contemplating it makes me realise exactly how out of date it is... I have three F65s, and there are only 2 faceplates in the shot, and I have another F70...)

Yeah, I completely agree, the Chicline is beautiful.

So here is the photo I promised (if you click through to my flickr you'll be able to see my F65 Lir, holding up Mercury, my Chicline, and the full height disparity between them... Mercury only reaches Lir's hip).

 

Ah yes, I misspoke there, but you do know I was saying that light heartedly and that I do love living vicariously through you, right? I forget how absolutely flat writing on a forum can be. I absolutely love your collection!!! It's amazing how much more mature the faces look but yet are unmistakably Ital. I sincerely wish I had gotten more of the chicline dolls when they were available. I can't believe they just dropped the line. Same with the Feeple65, you never know if they will offer another. It's so sad

I do agree it's sad, I would like to see some more of their older sculpts in F65 and Chicline versions, its such an interesting take on their traditional faces.

 

So, I just thought I'd let anyone starving for home grown pictures of Ingrid know that a few more have finally popped up on instagram. I guess there are a lot more people out there who don't post on DoA. Search feeple65ingrid and you'll get some without the standard outfit, which I absolutely love, but am not getting so I'm very interested in seeing Ingrid dressed up differently, and without the hat (see more of the face) and they've finally started popping up! Lovely doll, can't wait for mine to come home!

I really want my Ingrid to look like this Elfdoll Vivian. Have I already said that? Probably, but this faceup is just one of my favorite, so beautiful! I love the vivian sculpt, but it's the colors of the faceup I want for Ingrid, not to make her look like a Vivian. I'll be trying to do this myself, but I already know I'll fail, LOL. Saving up for a pro to do it though

Isn't it @hannaliten ? I really want to be able to do eyelashes like that, they look like they're growing out of her skin! And the brows and whol color is gorgeous! I bought 4 cans of acrylic varnish so I won't run out trying to make her as good as I can

 

I promised myself my feeple60 would be my last fairyland doll for a while yet here I am paying off an Ingrid. SIGH..... The second I saw her I thought of her as Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower and then I couldn't say no. Do SD clothes fit these bigger ladies or will I need to go clothes shopping again?

LOL, I too am paying my Ingrid off. She's at DDE but I can't pay her off yet Still it's good to know she arrived (hopefully safe and sound) and I'll try to pay her off early, but I'm only half way through. Payment 4/6 is due in a few days. I'm super excited and kind of hoping they will release another, maybe a boy, for Xmas???? Oh, and what @Chameleon said about clothes sounds right, though I have no SD65 body at home at the moment

So, because @salvarion did the most gorgeous eye opening on her sleeping Angela head , I've decided that I'm going to give it a try on my Ingrid's sleeping head. I mean, LOOK AT THIS!!!

My girl got packed up and given a UPS tracking number, but UPS didn't pick it up yesterday, so I guess she won't be sent out until tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get her by the end of the week??? I also just bought these eyes for her (2 pair, so if I manage to open her eyes up, she'll have the same eyes on either head ) and a Mika wig from Monique. I also finally bought Lora her Tyler wig. I got lora's in 8/9 and Ingrid's in 7-8 because i tend to like my wigs to fit snuggly. Some 7/8 Monique wigs fit Lora very tightly, but some actually don't so I'm going with the larger size. I don't know what size wig Ingrid would use, but if the 7/8 Mika doesn't work out, then I can always give it to one of my other heads, and order an 8/9 for Ingrid I figure. If 8/9 didn't work out, I'd have no other doll to take it.

Anyways, I really need more DoA distraction, and I would SO MUCH love to see Feeple65 photo spam. Will anyone post some pictures of their dolls please? Thank you

I actually was juuuust on Denver Doll's site wondering if in stock Ingrids might show up so I can then convince myself not to buy one.

But if you are looking at another size of the Monique wig, you might want to pick up the extra size now as I heard they are closing.

Hmmm, I haven't taken any new pics of my Lily lately. Maybe I'll have to pull her out soon. I have a wig coming in and might try it on her and see if it suits her at all. Hehe, speaking of wigs.

Hm, I don't know the exact reason. I heard about it in a Facebook group. A distributor for Monique posted later in the thread and had confirmed they contacted the owner and said that the owner had decided to close it.

 

Thanks for letting me know. I guess I'll buy a wig I've been eyeing for a long time, but is expensive. I'm sure someone will take over and launch wigs, probably Jpop, I mean, there is money to be had!

Just knowing someone is out there willing to interact on this thread is soothing I mean, I don't need interaction to love my new doll, but lets face it, it makes doll collecting so much more fun to have people to share it with And it's always lovely to see your three musketeers there, they are so handsome! @TeaPartyRevolution . Do you think they will release a boy for winter? I sure hope so!

 

My Ingrid has arrived! Woot Woot, I love her and she has they jawline I was hoping she had. It is true that her legs don't hook behind her buttocks like they should so she can sit more stably but it can be done. It may also be that she is tight, though I don't think she is too tight? She is beautiful , I love her proportions. Aside from the hooking of the legs, she poses fantastically, and is just so nicely balanced. Her face/head is smaller than Lora's (the older head back) but not so much as to be distracting, and I do like a smaller head. She has more realistic proportions. I have Lora on an Iplehouse body which is much bigger, especially in the shoulder width, which makes her nice and realistic too. Now I have to see if I can do a decent job painting her!

Thanks, I'll be trying again. I'm afraid adding white to the brows made them look way less wispy, not that my strokes are wispy, but i try, LOL. @SolInvictus I cant wait for more pictures. Did you get the official faceup? I loved it, it was a matter of not having the funds to order with the faceup. I will just have to wait for a good faceup I need a new black wig, this one is too big on her

 

In case anyone needs to know, I'm amazed to see Ingrid still has an 8.5" head circumference, despite looking smaller than Lora!... So I ordered the wrong wig size

 

I ordered the fullset, so will have the faceup. I usually get blank dolls, so it will be interesting to see a company faceup in person. There will be the blank event feple65 head there as well, which I can't wait to paint (they will share the body, because I really don't have much space left for another body with some more dolls coming to me next year already) I'm actually glad that the head is not too big, so Ingrid will not look too out of place next to my other SD ladies, which have quite smallish heads.

 

I'm not safe. I just saw the new Medusa feeple65 and I'm in love. Make me regret getting Ingrid because I won't have space for another SD in my collections. More bodies to sell lol

I....the snakes...she has snakes...so perfect to be Evelyn for my Lili. I'm screaming. Just the one pic that I found but she's glorious.

 

I wonder if this is Maya Feeple65 version? The garlet reminds me of the Minifee Valkyrie version which I adore so much.

Looking at her, I can't help but think of the dragon night and his lady from years ago. CP would be heroes if they brought out a muscular 65 man to match her. Perseus? I'd jump for that couple.

 

I think that was Roke and Chloe (I know Roke was the dragon). Even if they just rereleased him with a different theme, I'd be thrilled

 

I think she might just be human? Or at least, she does not have a snake tail because people asked on FB.
