Fairyland Feeple 65 Discussion Part 6

I wasn't sure if it was a feature that was put into the newer bodies as well.

 

The newer bodies look like they're "normal" stringing???

 

The magnetic parts are the part of Fairyland dolls which made them jump out to me as unique besides their wonderful sculpting, so it's very interesting to find out that Feeple65 have even more magnets than I thought. I was wondering how the stringing would work in such a large body.

 

Sent an email to Fairyland. This new body has mechanisms where once there weren't and now doesn't have the ring inside her knees anymore, just the normal string that every doll has. I guess it is totally different from the other feeples.

 

Actually, I think they took away features, like being able to take off the lower leg. I suspect they had plans for something that they never did. 'FeePle65' 카테고리의 글 목록

I'm curious what the "New release back" is and if it helps them slouch? I also wish they would make smaller boobs, those things seriously give me nightmares! It would have been nice if they would have at least given us a choice between the styles, it's bad enough they're huge, but now they're shoved up in her neck! Ouch! Ugh!

 

Ingrid does come with the normal bust, not the corset bust, so they aren't the ones that are "pushed up".

 

They were originally going to create fantasy lower legs, which would attach in a similar manner to how the fantasy hips/legs do in the RealFee and Fairyline dolls. But as these more realistic style dolls aren't as popular as the MNF and F60s, I think they shelved those plans.

Those removable lower legs are also in the Chiclines, which would be a more interesting thing to string I think, given they're so much smaller and more complex.

@TeaPartyRevolution Would you believe I didn't know that about my Chic-line dolls? LOL.

 

@IngieBee Now that you do know, I don't recommend playing with the leg mechanism too much, one of mine can occasionally lose his lower leg because it's gotten a little bit loose.

 

Finally.... I managed to do it... Basically, I had to use the help of another person and a lever, because FL is so crazy they strung the doll so tight a pair of human hands alone couldn't remove the magnet part of the feet.... Thank you everyone

@Demiurgo you mean the little ball? I can only imagine your struggles with a tiny ball and tight stringing!!

 

@IngieBee I mean the part between the foot and the actual ball joint before the calf. It's the magnet part for the heel foot. Dunno, maybe it's something new? I'm not really great at explaining myself plus I don't have a great knowledge regarding FL bodies. Maybe I can upload a picture of the bad boy?

 

Oh, no I mean, I KNEW the bottom legs come off, as we've been discussing them, I just had momentary amnesia, LOL or sinility, LOL. I don't think I speak for myself when I say I'd love to see pictures!!!

Yes, I was so broke when Angela came out, but I wanted one so badly! I wonder if all of Fairyland's older heads are one time only deal for the F65? I'd like to get at least one more, two if I could. And that's not even counting the boys!

I wonder if we email them or form a group list petition/intrest for the old sculpts they will consider it more? Similar to what they did with the Feeple65 hand and heel feet? I would love to get Lora and Siean again for a reasonable price even if it's just their heads.

@aireoko , I hate to sign a petition when I know I may not be able to buy more dolls when they are made available. There is no way to prepare, because we never know when and what each company is releasing. I feel like signing a petition is like promising to buy. It's so frustrating

 

@IngieBee that is a good point, since we won't know when it will release it's not garentee everyone who sign will buy.

 

Now, if I were rich, I'd have no hesitation signing :P

 

I'd love to see them make a series of hands/gloves/shoes for them. Those would be an affordable way to change up your doll. Or maybe just heads...

I have to admit that I just started a layaway for Ingrid (no outfit, yes to faceup, and a sleeping head but no faceup on that). I can't wait to start making clothes for her. Of course I have to pay for her first!

 

Congratulations @Eliz-Rivenstar , I know I'm going to be sorry I didn't get the faceup. There isn't anything I don't like about it, I am just trying to spend as little as possible (though I did get the sleeping face) No heel feet, nothing else, I just can't right now (hell, I can't get the doll right now! I've got to make my next payment soon, and am scrambling to find the money But I don't regret ordering her one minute. I really wanted Angela and didn't get her, this one is not getting away

 

I was worried about letting her get away too since they don't seem to make them very often. I am busy listing my Magic cards on ebay.... wheee?

 

Oh yah, I should really try selling stuff.... rather than buying!!

 

Just watch those seller fees when they get sold there, they can sure add up quickly!

 

LOL, yah, now that you say that, I remember that's why I don't bother selling anything BTW, does anyone know if size 14 eyes will fill the eye socket? I just measured my Lora and her eyes are 16mm. I don't like gapping, but I also don't know if Lora is old enough to have different size eyes than the current dolls?? What size eye socket did Angela have, anyone know?

 

I have an angela! She can wear up to 16mm. I think I like her best in 14mm small iris, but I think regular 14’s also look pretty good.

I sure will! She’s getting a really cool fantasy faceup from a friend, based on a character I was super into when I was younger. I’m still debating if I want her on the F65, or if I’m getting her possibly a SID body or, of money wasn’t real, a twigling.

 

I really wish they would re-release Angela, she and Siean are my favorite sculpts. Ingrid is awesome too, but I ordered her, so other than pining to finish my payments and getting her, I gots her and am pining for Angela and Siean, LOL. I'm just about ready to sign that petition!

Also, I just bought a pair of jeans for Ingrid for when she comes home. I've got and extra t-shirt too, so all I need are shoes...

 

Ever buy a wig, and it just looks craptastic on every doll you try it on? Well, I was checking out what color is like to put on a different doll and saw this old mohair wig I have, then, since it was too big on everyone before, I just thought I'd try it on Lore, and it looks good IMO!!

She's racking up all the oversized wigs in the house, LOL

It's always great when unused items find a match. It suits her well.

Ah, I do love vampire sculpts! Lili is a vampire sculpt herself.

Hehe, since you were curious...
As backstory Lili is loosely based on the idea of Lilith, who denied Adam and Eden and was cursed as a demon. One version of her story says that she had to "permit one hundred of her children to die every day" and I thought it would be interesting to cast her as the mother of vampires since her name can be translated as "night-creature" or "night-monster" (this is all just information quickly gleaned from her wikipedia page, and so only a simple inspiration) and have her curse be to be the cause of those deaths. Thus a vampire hunter. Lilith is also said to steal babies, so I liked this play on the idea (that the babies are her own). Since she is an ancient being from the creation of humans and the world, I decided that the days she measures are different from the days we measure today, so killing a hundred children per day is not such a blockbuster feat as it might at first seem. Though she is quite powerful in her own right and a capable huntress.

I would love to find her an Eve, but other doll priorities have pushed that back so far.
Maybe one day!

Hehe, I usually don't go into my dolls' backstories too much outside of my own head so I'm glad you enjoyed it. Hehe.

 

LOL, I've got the inkling of a feeling that Ingrid is going to have a thing for my OT Blood elf. This is only interesting because I find it hard to put motivations and personalities in my dolls, which is something I've been working on. But tonight I got this feeling that if they had personalities, these two might hit it off. Of course she may show up and not click at all, but I think it will work. Now to work on a back story....
