Fairyland Feeple 65 Discussion Part 6

Thought I'd share a photo of Specter from my last photo session with her since I haven't been here in a bit. I'd share more but I'm not sure how many pictures are allowed a post haha. I hope to see more of everyone's Ingrids and Angelas hehe~

Yah, someone on Instagram sold the head, back and eyes together. It was expensive, but I wanted her so badly, I paid I bought some ikea stuff which arrived today and have been assembling the first item, now my back is out, LOL so I still haven't taken any pictures. I wanted to get so many things done this weekend but my goals were too lofty as usual

 

Angélique has stolen a gown that I’d made for one of my Edria/nSID gals!
I am sewing some hook-eyes onto the pink gown, so I tried on a different gown.
I never expected this blue gown to look so well on her!! Nor for it to fit so well!
altho her hands did have to come off for these tighter sleeves. I will have to
make her a fancy waist belt with crystals for this gown.

I am expecting some SD16 heels ordered from etsy to arrive soon, so she may
have to play with something shorter to wear!

Hello. Hope everyone is ok. One question, I am looking clothes for feeple65 female body but not sure what fits for her. Any suggestions. I saw many clothes for feeple60. Is it compatible? What other brands are compatible? Thanks in advanced for your reply.

 

I tried on another lingerie piece from an etsy artisan. The elastic at the top could be a
bit stronger, but it does stay up (mostly). I thought Angélique might enjoy lounging
on her couch for a few minutes.

@toonleap So far, I've mainly tried clothes from Iplehouse (SID size) and Sartoria J (also SID size) and they've both fit pretty well from the items I currently own. Some pieces I do have to pin in the back cause boobs, lol. There are some other sellers on Etsy that make beautiful fantasy outfits well. Sadly F65s are lacking in clothing options. But I'm hoping in this surge of new people getting these dolls that we'll have some more creators making clothes for them.

Anyway, here's my girl in a Iplehouse set if it helps anyone.

 

I have an Ingrid which i also got the f65 Juri20 faceplate.. I've noticed not a lot of people have f65 Juri20.. I have yet to get faceup on them.. But ive ordered extra headback for one of the.. Currently using the body tho for my Limhwa Half Elf head. But i plan to use my SID body for f65 Juri20... Also anyone else think f65 Juri20 looks like Risse? Or alittle like Mio?

I have Juri too, although I am yet to decide for sure if I will keep her in the end (too many girls to take care of!) I recall a discussion about which minifee she resembles a bit earlier in the thread - I think Hwayu Human version (Halloween '18 head) was one of the closest. The eyes are indeed a bit like Mio has, though.

 

Iplehouse SID is a pretty safe bet and on etsy, people make things for Feeple65 and finally SID size for SartoriaJ are good as well??

@Aquadoe , yah, I also tried a similar outfit on my Ingrid a while back. Right now I want to make dresses, if I ever get the time :P I have to finish resizing my aunt's Dirndl before Octoberfest, so that's a must before I do anything else

OH how exciting, @Daku ! I got Ingrid blank so my price wasn't high enough for the F65 faceplate, so I can't wait to see what you do with her??? I got the mnf head, he is also cute

 

Finally feeling like Angora is looking like herself now. Really need to make her a new wig with no bangs though. Currently waiting on some fiber and a day where my hands will cooperate.

 

Oh man, I love her style @Cap'n and I love her wig too, but then I think Ingrid looks good in everything

It's been a really weird day...but Lili got glove parts and I wanted to take a moment and play with her! So I pulled her out and while she was plopped on my bed I snapped a quick picture.

I actually got her basic & blank but i also ordered a pukifee Mio tan which is how i was able to get F65 Juri20 faceplate

I've eaten my words once again, but I couldn't resist any longer and was very lucky to adopt this gorgeous girl from a friend off Instagram. Meet Phoenix! She arrived on Friday~ I have plans to get her a custom face up, eyes, and some things of her own, but she'll have to wait until my wallet recovers lol. I absolutely love her though and I've already taken a so many of photos.

 

She is just gorgeous. I love how she looks. What sculpt is she?

I thought it might be her, but I wasn't sure. Thank you for verifying. She looks so different than my original Tan Angela. I love Fairyland Tan color. Again, yours is jus gorgeous.

@Bren Wow your girls is gorgeous! I love Angela's original sleeping plate. Oh and of course! Aside from the parted lips, I believe the new Angela has a smaller features and a smaller head much like the new releases.

OK, I tried taking a nighttime phone pictures of my sisters, just so I could finally post my girls, but they need to have better dresses as these don't fit

I have yet to browse all of the previous comments, but just wanted to say: I caved and bought a Fairyland doll. X.x The Medusa set with the lovely Angela sculpt will be mine once I pay off the layaway. Usually these girl's aren't my type, they're beautiful but I prefer slimmer faces/narrower eyes...or maybe just stronger jaws...I don't know. Ingrid was tempting but her jaw just...seemed flawed for me and so I caved when I saw the Medusa release.

Now comes the hard part, learning everything that fits/works with these girls cause I've never owned one.

 

Iplehouse SID is a pretty good bet for fit so far for me These girls have a large rib cage, that goes beyond the chest size, I got size 65 dress on Alice's collections and they don't close above the waist. It could just be a flaw with this dress though?

 

I have an Angela on the way... I am nervous about what eyebrows she will have! I don't want to mess with a fairyland faceup

 

I hope they turn out nice for you @ajmailey , unfortunately, I don't like my Angela's face with my Ingrid's as they look so different and I'm thinking of having her redone.

 

Thanks @IngieBee - as I only have the one F65 body coming, I may end up moving on the Angela plates depending on how I like them.... although the Ingrid faceplate I have is blank so have to work on that!

 

Is there a way to mod the neck of a FL65 body in order to switch on a whim between FL heads and other companies's heads?

 

yep, remove the FL neck connector. You just use an S hook like you normally would (or a short wooden dowel if you don't have an S hook large enough for the hole in the bottom of FL heads)

 

@Demiurgo Or you can also make a donut for the inside of the FL head with Apoxie putty or some such putty. Luts also sells these premade resin donuts, which should work

Hello everyone. I was away from the forum for a long time, I was on vacation. And now I'm back, and Fairyland has a new event. What a beautiful new minifee. I'm glad they didn't release the new FeePle65, since my wallet is empty soon Photo of my Ingrid.

 

I love your Ingrid, I think she is my favorite sculpt. @Lerika and the full set is awesome.

 

@IngieBee thanks. I also think that Ingrid has a very beautiful sculpt. It is interesting to look at Ingrid minifee also in the photo of the owners

 

Opened my first FL doll this week--a Feelple65 Medusa from DDE! She's the first FL doll that's appealed to me, and the only fullset I've ever purchased. I got the designer complete set, and all the little resin bits (gauntlets, snake wings) are so gorgeous! The event faceplate is lovely, too.

Unfortunately she did come with a big ol' chip out of her knee. I've superglued it for now, but a new part is on the way. So now I'm faced with the daunting task of trying to unstring her. Any tips?

 

True, but being that my favorite dolls are adult like, though I love puki puki and especially real pukis ( I don't see them as children) I'm partial to the f65 version

And it's strange my heart isn't into child dolls, because I love children. But in reality, it's the unpredictable nature, and joy children have when discovering something new, and the simple needs (food and sleep and hugs) which make children such a delight for me. My lack of imagination just can't bring the child dolls to life for me, sadly. I still dream of bringing my dolls to life with stories and personality, but they are - or I am not there yet. So sad, I sometimes think I have something, some kind of character, but then realize it's just superficial and not fleshed out. But I won't stop trying,

 

@IngieBee I completely agree with you, I have the same situation, I do not like small dolls, I was once again convinced of this when I got my Ingrid and Medusa. But for all the time I liked only two small dolls, these are Hwayu fox and the new Luna, but I never bought any of them, because when there is a choice of Feeple65 or a small doll, my choice is obvious

 

I know it's been a bit since you posted this, but by chance have you received this outfit yet? I'm really curious to see how it looks on an F65. I keep going back and forth on whether I should order it. >.<

Sorry. I've been disillusioned with the BJD community for a while now, so my dolls and I have been keeping to ourselves.

I got it! It was really nice resizing work, but I didn't like how it looked on Faye after all, mainly because of the waist detailing. Between the narrow waist and the F65 body being so busty, it ended up masking her figure in an unflattering way.

Guess since I'm here... I got my Angela Type 2 a while back. Here she is fully put together with a FAR better faceup by the always amazing SugarStars:



Very much adore her depressive, sensual vibes.

The factory faceup was always going to be temporary, but given the unacceptable variance between the stock photos and the fact that both faceplates were completely mismatched from one another (ordered both the standard and sleeping), it wasn't even worth wasting the money on.

 

Oh gosh, I'm sorry the community pushed you away, and I always wonder, because I'm autistic, if I did or said something wrong. I sure hope I didn't cause this disillusionment and if I did, please pay me no mind! Your Angela is looking so beautiful, you are making me want to send my head out for a repaint. I also got one of the bad faceups
