Fairyland Feeple 65 Discussion Part 6

I just looked quickly through the help and I can't find anyone to contact either. Really annoying and I see Instagram is part of facebook which is kind of freaking me out because I recently made an account

 

My boys wear Luts SSDF jeans and Iplehouse YID shirts (I'm fairly sure). The jeans work well, but they're a touch big. The tops are similar.

 

My NS Angela Ver. 2 (Medusa) arrived today! I have put some box opening and detail pictures in the Instragram story and created a highlight for it which you can access HERE.

She is absolutely magnificent! 100% worth the wait! Also her wig is super long! I love it!

For those of you who got your Angela V2 already...did you order from Fairyland directly? Or some other way, like Denver Doll? I'm guessing the Fairyland orders are ahead of the DD ones...
As is paid in full orders over layaway orders...

I've never ordered a Fairyland from DD before...so it's all new to me. But I'm getting so excited!

 

@luluna I order directly from Fairyland. I don't think it affects the deadline. According to my observations, Luha began to receive from orders for DD.

I had three layaway payments...so mine will probably be a little while yet...

Popping in to say I bought an Ingrid head with faceup which is making me so happy. I sometimes don't like faceups by FL but in Ingrid's case it really was beautiful. And because I got a full set Angela2, I knew they'd never look good together with one pro faceup and the other my faceup and I wanted them to be sisters. So I'm super happy to find a faceup'd Ingrid

 

Congrats @IngieBee! I hope you'll take a picture of them together when you get your Angela!

 

My girl Specter arrived home from AngelToast this evening! I had to race the sunlight since it's storming, but I absolutely love her! I'm so happy I picked Ingrid, I love her pouty lips! I'm hoping for nicer weather this weekend to get more photos of her.

 

OH my gosh, she's stunning @Aquadoe It's so nice to see her with a different faceup I can't wait for more pictures

 

Designer Angela is on her way! I'm getting excited! Does it mean I'm getting old when I don't get excited until I get a shipping notice?

Oh that sounds exciting, two AT heads to compare! @Cauldroness! I wonder if Denver doll will contact me if mine comes in? I ordered December 10th. But she is on layaway. I was under the impression that I would be contacted with the opportunity to pay her off if she came in early?

And my discontinued order is still sitting waiting for my Resinsoul order to arrive so she can be shipped. I can't believe RS is still not there

Aww thank you so much! Yes, I hope in the future to see more Ingrids and eventually Angela with custom face-ups. I always love seeing what others do but I think both sculpts have a lot of versatilely! I'm so happy to finally see her with a face! And you guys will probably get sick of me because I've taken so many pictures of this girl XD

Well, now that I got a new face plate for my Ingrid to match my incoming Angela2, I'm thinking I need to make her a costume that matches Angela2's Oh boy, I got a lot of work to do!

I do have this silvery fabric that looks like it's pleated with tiny pleats, only it's more in the weave. I'm feeling stumped at the moment as to what to make from it :P

 

Hello. I hope everyone is fine. One question. I noticed an small scratch on Ingrid´s face, in the forehead. I think I scratched it with my nail. not sure. It is not visible at first sight. Only with a bright light is present and at a certain angle. It is hardly noticeable but once You watch it, it is hard to forget it. I upload a photo. Is there a way to fix it? Or maybe I am worrying too much. Thanks.

 

You could give it a quick spray with sealant, but you would either have to remove the eye lashes, the reapply them and re-gloss, or mask the rest of the face area. I've heard some people will rip a tissue so the edge won't make a straight line.

I can't quite see where you mean, but if it's not shiny and is just a slight scuff...maybe you could buff it VERY gently with a magic eraser. Though that would run the risk of wearing it down further...

 

I wouldn't try removing the eyelashes myself because of the risk of removing some of the faceup at the same time, but I love @Lady Ravenswood 's idea of a torn tissue. I'd also spend the money on Mr. Superclear because that's probably what they use, and you wouldn't want to mix products if you can help it. Do light coats. I think it might be a good idea to "heal" the edges so they don't start to flake by doing so carefully. Good luck!

My Medusa Angela arrived today...my first Fairyland 65 doll...ever. And she is so fun! I have all three faceplates and have yet to dig in to her default outfit... but I wanted to get some shots while I still had a little light.

Her resin is so nice and smooth! And her arms hold a pose so well. I think I will name her Celestyne...for now.

Fairyland just shared teaser photos for a new F65 Carol on Facebook. If you want to find them, search for "Kim SunHwa" or Cerberus Project. She has a nice looking 1920s vibe.

Have to admit I'm still dreaming of an F65 Lishe.

She's very cute but she's not doing it for me. Maybe with better pictures? It also bothers me that the silhouette of the dress isn't at all right. It's kind of a mish-mash, but I love the cigarette holder

 

I was really looking forward to the new Feeple 65, but I have to admit that this doll is not my story. I agree with you @IngieBee that we need to see more photos

Here is the the 'crooked lip' faceplate...I wanted to use different hands to enhance her expression...but did not unpack them yet.

I hope that you end up loving your Angela @petiteballerine - I do love Fairyland’s
tan resin - I’ve several minifee in tan. I wish I’d had the option of ordering the
basic Angela in tan, but they didn’t allow that.

Mine arrived too but I have yet to have some doll time. Hopefully today. The face up is probably not really to my taste but it will stay until the summer probably. I have two blank face plates to paint which I will be looking forward to trying

Question to those who ordered her...I got the complete fullset (From Denver Doll if that matters)...Angela (Type 2) Designer Complete (Medusa) along with F65 Hands No. 12......But...there were no high-heeled feet included. Is this correct? Was there something else I was supposed to order...and forgot? I don't see where it says they should come with her...and I don't see where I could have ordered them.

And as a side note....Oh the gauntlets and her shoe parts are amazing! Even on their own...I can't wait to photograph them. (Charging camera battery now...)

 

@luluna Nope, weirdly they didn't include heeled feet in the set I haven't gotten mine yet, but, I can't remember where, it was posted that heeled feet weren't included I ordered 2 pair and already received them. One for my Ingrid and one for Angela2.

 

@IngieBee @luluna OH no!? How did I not realize that either!? I definitely need heeled feet. Blargh. Hope the color match will still work out ok.

 

Oh thank you so much for that! So...where do you order them? Directly through Fairyland? I was on their site and didn't see where you can order them. And I didn't see any place to order them from Denver Doll either. (I feel stupid.)

I find the color to be extremely stable. The feet I bought my Ingrid match and I'm sure they will match Angela2

Now my Laura is a bit darker. I don't know why that is as my minifees are still the same color from 10+ years ago??

Since I'm in the US I ordered from Denver doll. They may even have some in stock @luluna

I'm glad I have the sabatons and some other heel shoe feet for her in the meantime (that need painting...oof)!

Oh good to hear, thanks @IngieBee ! I bought some new hands for my Fairyline Alicia a year or so ago, and about 2 years after I got her and the color match is pretty darn good too. It's a touch more rosy, but I don't think anyone would notice unless I was like LOOK!
