    7. My Wrap and Drape book just arrived, and I agree with dhawktx that it's simply fabulous!! If my Chicline had arrived, I would have draped something right away, but unfortunately she's still stuck over there in Fairyland somewhere. Good thing I ordered her before the cutoff but I didn't realize the wait would be quite this long...

      Back to the book -- I have several chiffon scarves that I've picked up along the way at various thrift stores and garage stores - can't wait to try draping those.

    8. So glad you're pleased with it claywimmin! Once I got my head wrapped around some of the more extreme drapes, I can see all sorts of possibilities.

      Several shortcomings of reducing to doll scale - a lot of the ties have to be extended and/or reinforced so the material doesn't fail after the first tie. I'm looking at the possibility of using my machine's backstitch to go around the outline of a garment BEFORE cutting it out, to see if that has a positive benefit.

    9. They've never done this with any of their existing lines, so I doubt you'll be able to buy just the faceplate anytime in the future unless you find a split partner^^;



      Not sure if this is where I need to ask, but does anyone know if fantasy doll's normal or pink skintone would match chicline NS?

      Hyschara, in answer to your question: Fdoll normal skin matches Fairyland normal skin very well indeed - here's some pictures of my doll, who is a MNF head on an Fdoll body: http://www.denofangels.com/forums/s...h-deer!-(My-frankendoll-has-grown-antlers...)

      I did buy them both quite a while ago, but as long as Fdoll haven't changed their resin colour, then it should still match!
