Jan 15, 2007

    1. Thanx for the pattern! I'll definitely try to sew this dress when my Gabriel Pink will be here)

    2. So cute, can't see some of the pictures but I am def' subscribing so I can make one of them later <3

    3. I totally want to try this once I get my doll~

    4. AWe some of the pictures are gone.....I want to try this sooo bad :D

    5. Made one for a friends doll. I'm pretty pleased with the way it came out considering I'm a newbie to sewing.

      Sewn completely by hand.

The doll is owned by LordNoir(that's her DoA username... Obviously xD).

had to sew it by hand O_x

    7. @Fractal; Nice I like the rouching on top, how long did it take you by hand? Musta been fun >>

    8. I'm going to use a moddified version of this to make a nurse's dress for my tiny girl. ^_^ We'll see how that goes!

    9. How adoreble!! Thnx for the tutorial;)

    10. Whats the best type of fabric for this pattern? More knit so its stretchy or more of a fitted type of cotton?

    11. I totally forgot to post mine. Way back when, made a Halloween dress for my girl. I still love how adorable this fabric is!

    12. That turned out super cute! Thanks so much for the tutorial.

    13. i cant wait to try this

    14. Great tutorial...wonderful job on that dress! :)

    15. cotton, no stretch, is better.

    16. Wow that's a pretty dress~
      Thanks for sharing

    17. Did we see this one at the All Dolled Up meet in CoMO?

    18. Pretty sure we did. :D

    19. Wow. I love this pattern! As of now, Elisia (due to being an awkward size) can only wear Barbie clothes. They look ok, but... I will probably make this soon! Thank you!

    20. So apparently slightly over an year later, I made another dress for my lovely Kane!
      Man --- I can't believe it's already been an year O.o
      Anyway!

This time luckily, I have a sewing machine =D

    21. oh man, i love this pattern. Mona is now demanding that i make her one.

    22. Finished! It didn't take long... but due to some mis-measurements, It has 5 panels, not 4, and is still a little tight, but I think it looks good. Practice makes perfect, I suppose. Sorry for the poor picture quality.

@eternal-song - She is pushy... I think it'll look great on her.

    23. Here's my first go at this pattern! I think it's a success! In the process now of making another one. XD

    24. woah! incredible, I want to try it!

    25. Everybody's dresses are so cute!

Thank you for this tutorial. Made one for my girl and was surprised with how little time it took. I'll definitely be making more. Next time though, I'll use a fabric that doesn't fray as fast as this. I'll also make sure that I cut the back long enough. I didn't do that this time and her big butt caused it to rip and frayed all over the place. I think I'll also make the closure velcro or something so it'll stay on her boobs better. Had to get a strap on it to keep it up better.

      On with the pictures!

    26. I made one, I'm super happy with it but I'm super bummed.
I did it by hand and it doesn't look like what I wanted to although it turned out interesting by its self.
Its not finished. The back has nothing keeping it closed and the top isn't hemmed.

I do love the silouette though.

    32. I finally got started on my first dress ever, after having wanted to try this pattern for over a year :D
Sewing by hand (first time on that as well) so I'm a bit slow.. But I'll post pictures when I'm done!

    33. wow this tutorial is just amazing, and everyone's work looks fantastic! i just hope Lily doesn't see it before i can pick out some nice enough material and make a dress for her~

i wonder how simple it would be to adapt the template so i can make a coat for my boys?

Blue Eternity: Lovely tutorial. Thanks for making it.
Am I missing anything important by not being able to see the missing pix?

    37. thankies ^^

    38. I'd love to make this dress one day!

Blue Eternity - do you know some of the pictures are missing from your tutorial? If so, then ignore me. XD

    39. oh i wanna make this

    40. that is so adorable >w<

    41. wow! cool!! want to try it too! >.< thanks

    42. It really looks nice and easy!
Might give it a try when my first BJD gets home since I'm looking forward to give her hand made clothes.
and I really like the fact that you can adjust the dress in the back, that IS handy for sure!

    43. I made this dress a while ago.. It was too large so I had to make it three parts instead of four xD
End result might not be the best, but I'll be trying again :)

    48. I made a dress from this tutorial a long time ago, and I thought I had posted it but can no longer find it. Here is my adaptation of this pattern with something new I whipped up tonight! Added straps and gave it a zipper closure.

    49. Looks like most of the pictures are deleted, I guess you emptied your Photobucket :( I'll try to work off the text!

    50. I don't even know if the OP is still active on DOA. This is a very old thread. I remember seeing it back when the original post had working photos. At one time I had it all saved in a word document for offline use in case something like this happened, but that was back in 2010 and the chances of that file surviving somewhere in my storage of old laptop data is questionable.

    51. It's fine! I'm decent at sewing, I'll figure it out. I'm new to the forums and there aren't many pattern sewing threads to comment on :/ which is a shame because I love sewing
