40–49cm Dolls DV Ghost Moth Girl opening

    1. Finally had a moment so I figured I at least should open her shipping box that's been waiting here the past two weeks and check for damage issues before the window closes to get them replaced, but everything arrived pristinely and in order.

      You guys.
      She is the most, most amazing doll ever. Worth the nine month wait. She just fills me with joy and awe. She is and will be the best distraction from what all is happening in the world these days. My zen and therapy project.

      All magnets very securely glued in in this Moth, and she poses so well, the notches in her arms are fantastic!

      I feel so fortunate to have such a glorious doll here. :...( Just so fortunate.

    3. She is such a beautiful sculpt!!!!!! I really wish I could have got her when they released her but I chose Chimera - Hylander instead. I don't regret it but I do wish I had both! Maybe with the high interest in her they will re-release her and I'll have more money to spend for her.

      Do you have a plan in mind for her colours and faceup? You mentioned gypsy moth, is that a type of moth? :3

    4. I adore your Chimera- Highlander too- and yes, it would really be fantastic if they'd re-release this moth at some point down the line, for all who had to forego ordering this round. I'd get her again in a different color in a heartbeat, I have to admit.

      Yes I had visions of mimicking a gypsy moth in her styling, is why I chose her in this off-white resin to start. Hold on.

      Wow, what a cute moth design! That's going to look so good in the white resin.

      I think she would look good in the blue that they did for the 'male' version or in the purple. I haven't ventured yet into any fantasy resin colours. XD Think I would have to for a beautiful moth!

    7. I remember seeing the promos when she came out and heavily talked myself out of it. That wait was tough, but she is totally worth it. She is beautiful :D

    9. Ah, congrats! I ordered her in the fullset in the cocoa brown. I've even more excited to receive mine now!

      Also, I don't know how you could go two weeks before opening a doll! I'm usually on the verge of tearing open the shipping box before I even get the package inside once it's delivered, lol.

    11. She looks so lovely! A gypsy moth look is very fitting! Seeing this makes me excited for my own. I went with the full set in the rosy brown, but I was tempted to try a different moth theme!

      Let's hope they will do a re-release one day!!

      LOL, I know but life is so crazy full and busy and I really wanted a good calm, long enough pause to enjoy her opening :lol:

      Also, I cannot wait to see owner fullset Cocoa pics, hopefully yours will arrive soon and you will post! :dance

      I will! Her costuming is growing in my brain in between crazy life things, wish I could start already.

      I'll share is, and also, I cannot wait to see your girl when she arrives. For me, it was a hard decision, the blank girl in the white, or the fullset, as that truly is a great resin color!
