I've totally fallen in love with the Appi Jamma doesanyone know if there is going to be another order?

 

Hey! I recommend you follow their instagram or facebook accounts for upcoming releases! They dont really put a list of who or what is planned for a pre-order, but they do re-release them in different resin tones c: for example, I believe appi cota was first released for a pre-order in peche, then re-released in chocolate c: i've also seen a few jammas appear second hand c: good luck in your search!!! hope this information was helpful!

 

Anyone with a Appi Nëze in myosotis skin tone? Care to share pics?

I just found out today my girl is being shipped. Bought her second hand and I can’t wait for her arrival!
I missed out on her release so I’m feeling very lucky and happy to have found her again!

This thread makes me want an appi, but I don't want to find a smaller wardrobe- what sizes does she wear? for like pants and shirts? Also, could she possibly wear barbie shirts?

 

I am rather new to these dolls. But my girl in the picture is wearing a azone (xs-s) size shirt. She also could wear Blythes dresses. I haven’t tried pants on her. She did come with shorts from the company though.

 

I just bought one! I will post pictures as soon as I recieve her.

 

Sharing some Appi love since this thread hasn't been active for some time now.
What do you all think, will there be any new Appi preorder any time soon? Seeing that the last preorder is taking longer than usual, I'm afraid there won't be any new releases before next year. o___o

I’m still a very new owner of my Appi, but I’d love to see more fantasy colors. Would be cute! Even if it’s next year!

 

My gut feeling tells me, that it would be time for the release of a Jäma in chocolat. She is the oldest doll that has had only one release as far as I can see, compared to all the other Appi molds that have had 2 or 3 releases already. But then again who knows. Maybe they'll do a Cöta in blue or dark grey instead. I'm not a big fan of fantasy colors, but I guess I would make an exception for a Cöta xD.

 

I second Jäma for a predicted release! I’ve thought the poor thing has been overdue for a while!

Though I don’t feel like I “need” anymore dolls (famous last words, right? XD), I wouldn’t be opposed to the soft lilac colour DoD has used for a few of the special dolls they’ve gifted friends! I know I’ve seen at least one floating around Insta, a Korë, I believe it was? So pretty!

 

My only girl is blue so she needs a colorful friend to join her!
A cöta in green, blue or lilac would be so cute!
But then again…not anytime soon please. Need to save up that dolly money!

They may finally have me with this Nëze preorder... she is too cute for words, and in the peche I may actually be able to afford it! Does anyone have some good posing pictures of the body to share?

 

I don't do a lot of special poses with these dolls, since their main draw for me is their cute roundness and the cute ears! But...I do love photos! So here's mine, and hoping others share theirs.

They are wired though-- through the hips in an upside down "u" shape and down to almost their ankles. Makes it much faster for me to stand them.

 

Wiring is a good idea... I need to wire so many of my dolls, honestly. (I did order the Neze, very exciting!)

Hello Vakarian, I’m looking for any cloth patterns. I would like to sew something for her. Moreover I’d like to buy some knitted sweaters, I can sew but not knit.
I think my Peche Neze will be inspired by a forest Japanese spirit, so, dresses, overalls, shirts…
I have many Blythe size clothes for my 1/6 but I’m afraid they will be too tight for the adorable more curvy Neze body.

 

So precious! I love how you've styled them too - it's a great look I might have to wire mine too - they're all in need of a good restringing as well.

Bless this thread and its wisdom. Also the long time members. I just adopted my first appi and was instantly befuddled by her need to be in permanent "pill bug" pose. As I am not new to doll maintenance or modification I was still surprised that she was so kicky. Although I love her she was having none of my "suggestions" for standing. However I think some msc suede and wire should solve the issue as well as a fresh set of strings.

Yeah, DoD sculpts are beautiful and some of my favorite but oh man I do not understand what they do in the promo photos to make them pose so well ahaha. My original (old body) Meel was the only one to ever pose well out of the box and she was made for LDoll so there might have even been something special done that I didn't know about.

I did finally slap a wig on my other DoD Meel2 but it's not designed for her so it's uh..... not staying on well lol. I got some great advice on my IG story about it though so I'm gonna give some of those things a shot.

I took her apart and gave her a full scrub. Changed her elastics out and poof, She stands! No wires needed I may kip her thighs to keep them from rolling but she's settling well.
