Yay! We finally reached a new thread! I don't think I've shared this photo yet. I don't have a lot of time for dolls right now but I am hoping to get back into them soon!

Little Margaux is staying inside with all the cold weather we've been having!

 

Finally took some proper photos of Nebula with her new wig. I think yellow and pink suits her well.

I just received my Cöti yesterday and have been busy making her a wig and sewing some clothes for her.

But I was wondering, my Cöti is really kicky, she basically refuses to keep her legs straight. Is this very common and just needs to be sueded, or is she strung to tight?

 

@ATBryant Mine is also super kicky so it's not just you. I sueded her and it helped a lot but she's still not very stable. It took me a while to make her stand on her own. I still recommend sueding since it does improve posing quite a bit.

 

Yellow and pink is easily the best color combo!! Love her!

 

I hot glue sueded my Cöti and am so happy with the result. Such an improvement! It's so nice to be able to lay her down and her legs not kick up.

I didn't do it perfectly since it was my first time ever, and I only did the two sockets around her hip ball joints, but I'm glad I did it.

 

Absolutely in love with this doll size! Can anyone suggest where to buy clothes for them?

 

@indollgence I compared some measurements, and it seems they're quite similar in size to imda 3.0, which you can find stuff for on etsy.

 

You can find custom fitting clothing (search for "Appi" sized clothing) on etsy. Mine also wear Kikipop and Cerisedolls Poulpy sized clothing ^^

Thank you! I just bought an appi coti from the secondhand market and it’ll take a few weeks before she gets home but I’m super excited to say the least!

 

Lyly teased Appi Jama in peche yesterday on instagram. I love my Cöti, and having an Appi with removable ears is really tempting. I wonder how long until the preorder. A month or two would be great so I can finish off my current layaway.

 

Maybe a little after the Roze Heln preorder? It’ll be great to see an Appi again! My favorite’s Coti

Does anybody know if Jama has human ears? I can not find a picture without a wig

Flutter keeps hiding from me and skirted away to my plant shelf! But I was able to snap a photo when she timidly came out of hiding!
I also decided to snag my camera out instead of always using my iPhone and I'm glad I did since I love how the photo came out

And here is my Appi Khol. Her name is Teasya.
I was able to adopt early this year.

 

I really love Khöl, i had one a few years ago =) But sadly i had problems with the body
Teasya is a really cute name for her =) Her style is really pretty Yer colorful eyeshaow is pretty too

Khol is the sculpt I love the most in the appi line.
For the body, I learn that he didnt pose well but mine so her previous owner add some “caterpillar” wires in her legs and arms and I must say that it really helps with the possibility.

 

@Lady Midori I had a lot of posing problems with the old body and sadly sold my Khöl and Meel. But the new body is much better for me, i really love the posing and the style of the body =)

 

I am a happy Cöti mommy now =)

In it he flashed an Appi Nëze, explaining that he is busy taking the official photos for the next DoD release!
I have been waiting for this moment for a loong time; so exciting ^^

On 14th september we can order Neze in blue skin for 24 hours

 

The myosotis blue is a gorgeous color! I'm really tempted to buy a Neze in this color.

I'm not sure if i can afford neze :/

The sales page on the DoD website states the following:

"There will be no limited quantity of order during this period of time. This is the only preorder that will ever be held for this doll, once it’s over she will not be produced in preorder again."

Does anyone know whether this means there will never be another preorder for the Nëze sculpt, or just no preorder for Nëze in this particular colour?

 

DOD only make preorders for each color once. I thinks its the same with Neze, but you will never know when a other preorder in other color will start :/
Peche skin is standart color and every doll is coming in this skin. So i think we can hope for a peche skin Neze

If this is true then I might wait till she'll be available in peche skin even if it might be a while, as I'm not really digging the blue colour and would rather not pay 150 euro extra for a skintone I'm not really fond of in the first place.
I wish she would be available in NS first, just like the rest of the Appi's

For anyone interested in a peche skin Nëze as well: I asked about it on DoD's FB post about the release and they confirmed that she will most likely be released in NS, though there's nothing planned yet.
So the waiting game begins again

 

I have a question for those owning DoD dolls in myosotis/blue resin tone: how does it age/fade/yellow?

 

Well, mine is only a few months old so she hasn't yellowed yet. But it will depend on how you store it, what kind of sealant is on it (sealant yellows too), etc.

My guess is it will eventually have a slight greenish taint, making the color closer to a light pastel mint. But concerning how long it will take, I have no idea ! I have a mint Meel that is several years old, and when I compared her to the more recent mint spun I had I could see the resin didn't yellow, sealant did and only very very faintly.
