@vanori i’m glad to hear you like the faceups! from the pictures it is really beautiful, but seeing something in person is often so different from photographs.

i’m surprised to hear that blythe clothes fit, i’m assuming that only tops/wide dresses work? appi’s hips are so much wider than blythes.

She is coming from instagram! I feel very lucky to find her, but today I am told she might not want to sell her after all, so I am waiting! D; </3 If I don't hear back soon, I think I will order Kore!

I ordered a Jäma thinking of making up for the fact that I did not ordered the Cöti.
But it didn't work. I sold it.
Now, I'm waiting for a sale of Cöti in chocolate skin (like Cöta!) (I have the right to hope!!!)

Is your Cöti makeupped? Maybe when she will be here, you will keep her! On picture, it's not easy to be absolutely sure.

Hi! I’m new in BJD. Can anyone help me to tell where to find photos with flexibility of Cöti or Köre? I can’t understand are they as flexible as Fairyland dolls or not?

 

Started a layaway for Korë today. First time in quite a while a new sculpt has really caught my eye.

@Elena_Savki From the experience of having owned both I would say that DustofDolls are not as flexible as Fairyland, but they do pose beautifully.

Well, ok...I couldn't resist and I've just placed my order for Köre Still waiting for my Cöta (at Viridian House for her face-up) but at least she'll have a sister!

oof, i really waited till the last minute on this one, but i also ordered korë! very excited for this girl, she is so charming! i normally don’t name dolls before they arrive, but i am already thinking of calling her petrichor!

 

I also waited until the last few hours. For a while I'd decided to wait and see how other people painted her, and order in chocolat if that was ever made available, but I eventually changed my mind. Will have to think about what kind of look I want for her.

 

Congrats to all of those who orders Köre! Does anyone have concrete plans they can share with us?

She's really adorable! I'm waiting for my first Appi - a Chocolat Cöta which should arrive shortly - and also placed an order for Korë. Looking at the photos you posted, it seems you have no trouble about doll poseability, that is my main trouble. I read several opinions about DoD dolls...I own a Cham and she actually needs a bit of effort to pose rightly, anyway she's amazingly lovely

 

The DoD addiction is so real... All I've been looking at lately are pictures of Jama, Neze, and Kore

Does anyone know how well Blythe clothing (tops and dresses, at least) actually fit on Appis? I tried searching the thread but I didn't see an answer u.u

@taichas For shoes you can order some pairs from Pupashoes, i wait for my order at the moment =)
Blythe dresses and tops can fit very well. But you need to look if the hole for the hands are big enough ( ore you need to remove the hands)

Hello! I’m waiting for my korë, but I have not received any updates. Has anyone that is also waiting for korë received an update? I understand things are moving slower at the moment but I’m just so excited! I think some little update would help calm me down :3

 

Anyone who has a doll in the peche skin tone, can you tell me if the resin has any translucency to it at all?
I'd love to see the skin tones in person, but unfortunately I've gotten into BJDs at a time when there are no doll shows in real life

Hello! not sure if anyone else was hoping for an update on the Kore pre-orders. I went ahead and emailed them to see if there was an update and they havent heard back from the casting company but are going to contact them today/tomorrow and hopefully have an update next week c:

We have received news from our factory. The Appi Kores should be sent to our workshop this week!
As you know, postal services are slowed down due to the pandemic, but as soon as we receive the tracking it should arrive in France within a week. We hope it will go through customs smoothly.
As soon as we receive them at our workshop, we will make a new announcement!

@c4tbus yes, from my understanding, it sounds like they are preparing orders and they will be in the post within 48 hours. c: at least for blank dolls. idk if this includes the ones with viridian house faceups c:

@Amandala no, I have a faceup artist that I'm going to commission c: Unfortunately I dont think my doll will get here in time for her February slots, so I'll have to wait until April I think. This is the artist I'm going to commission! Here

Reviving this thread a little as I'm purchasing an appi meel off someone and I'm incredibly excited!! I can see there have been some recommendations for clothes/shoes/wigs in the thread, but I would love to know if you have any new favourites to share!

I was going to be good and wait for the new appi that was teased but I love meel too much to pass her up

 

@grimdarkfandango oh congrats! i love meel. I'm actually waiting for the new one they teased! But both girls are completely adorable! For my Kore, I follow artists like rumpleclothing and darkstars who make appi sized clothes. I think rumpleclothing has her outfits on diplay on her instagram and you message her your order and for what size. she has many cute clothes darkstars has been pretty quite on her account. For wigs I commissioned SophyMolly on etsy because I wanted a specific style. And for shoes, I'd follow pupashoes I think she takes commissions, but she does create adorable appi sized shoes. hope that helps!!

 

I actually managed to sneak into rumpleclothing's preorder the other day so I do have one outfit coming for meel, great to know there are other great accounts out there! Thank you especially for the tip on the shoes, I was wondering about those since the size is uncommon!
