I've searched a lot, and so far, it seems that there are only 3 or 4 of these dolls on DOA... Sally has been on my wishlist for a while, and now I must say the Dreaming Doll Christmas event is quite convincing ! So I might order Sally very soon ! Edit : ordered !

Anyone else is tempted by the Christmas event ?

thanks so much for these pictures - she is absolutely amazing. have you figured out how to put on the outfit?! Just bought a smartphone and decided to return it so I do have the funds to get her. Very tempting... But I'm starting to like Eva as well....

bumping - did anyone else give in and ordered?! they have the event going until the end of this month and I'm really considering getting her. I'm still a tiny bit unsure because SD-size seems so huge compared to my MSD :P

Getting a SD is indeed a big move if you only have MSDs. Especially, the Elva body is quite big. Or maybe it's just that my other SDs were small... But it's a graceful and lovely body !

 

Haha, yeah - My Iple girl is on the bigger side of MSDs but it's still quite a leap from 43cm to 58cm! I like Sally a lot...She is such a special sculpt. But the thought of paying 19%+4% of VAT and custom fees still bothers me...I'm one of those poor students!

But you are completely satisfied with the quality, right?!

Dreaming Doll is my new favorite company to order from! Not only is my Molly gorgeous, excellent quality, and a really nice poser, but she arrived in a week from ordering, and came with the best extra's. She came with everything her order page said she would, plus extra shoes, extra wig, a Dreaming Doll journal, elastic, eye putty, velcro, and chocolate!

Anielle (or anyone else with the new body) How do you find the posing and range of movements for the wrists?

 

I'm not a posing stickler, but I really like her posing. Her wrists are very elegant, and pose well, and don't look ackward easily like many dolls. In fact her whole body seems to pose very nicely, and I was even able to pose her on one foot pretty easily.

I came to check out this thread because I saw the picture of the mature Judy from the News section and I cannot get her out of my head. She is gorgeous !

Can anyone give me any information on what size clothing these girls take? If I get her, she will be my first in this size range.

Judy is indeed gorgeous. As for clothing, I tried Nine9Style, Another Space and Dollmore and I never had any problem dressing my girl. I guess most SD clothes should fit ?

Pretty sure the neck measurement for the Elva girls is wrong on DnD...Can't be 6cm lol

Sally is a great sculpt, mine will be back from her face-up spa week soon

 

Anyone know what the deal is with the model boy body in the parts section? It says it's sold out, but I can't even tell which category it belonged to in the first place. Was this a limited body? I love it -- it's so much like the new Loongsoul body, but not so insanely tall. Is there any chance they'll offer it again?

 

@thessalyrose: Sorry, can't help you with that...Maybe you can contact them? But don't expect a detailed reply haha. The language barrier is pretty bad but they reply quickly!

Anyway....Sally is back from getting a face-up and she is gorgeous. Thanks to Kasumi-san (CharmingDoll Aesthetics) she looks even more beautiful than she does on her promo pics. She's still nameless if you have any suggestions don't hesitate to share them!

Haha, it'll be funny if I have a Dreaming Doll, a Dream of Doll, and two Dollfie Dreams.

 

Lol it's the very same for me. XD I have exactly as you said, a Dreaming Doll, a Dream of Doll, and two Dollfie Dreams right now. I have noticed that 'dream' is a pretty popular English word in the Asian world.

I hope to get Eris too when she's finally re-released!

 

Thinking about it, it's a really popular one in their own languages too. "Yume" is all over the place in Japanese, and I see "dream" up in the names of Chinese things all the time. I'd assume Korea's probably the same way.

 

I feel like Dreaming Doll girls are so underrated for some reason, even though they are really pretty.

I've also always felt that Dreaming Doll was underrated, but recently they are getting more fans thanks to their fantastic new MSD line. So I'm sure that the big girls will be noticed as well !

I just wanted to share something funny... I was watching a Korean music video and I thought that one of the singers looked so much like Sally ! She is Kang Min-Kyung, one of Davichi's members. I watched many Davichi videos and never thought Min-Kyung looked like Sally, but in that particular video she does. Maybe because of her hair and make up... Here's the promo picture of the video, she's the fourth from left.

My Sally still doesn't have a name, now I'm thinking about naming her Min-Kyung...

 

How about DD boy? He is Khan and I really like his side face.
DD babies are underrated for some reason. They deserve to be more famous.
Especially their body is really excellent.
