    2. Oh dear, what a mixup! :o Hopefully you get the correct body sooner than later! The wings really so look beautiful, though. The flexibility on the dewclaw is actually really neat. I can imagine it'll add an extra bit of realism to different poses. <3

    5. Gee all I got with my dragon (Flo) was two left wings and an immediately broken foot. At least the body was correct.

      Dream Valley really doesn't seem to have any comprehension of quality control, or maybe they just struggle with size given the Uncia fullset coat and now this.

      Sorry you have to deal with it, but I do expect AC and DV will work it out. Who knows, maybe it was actually an AC error in this case? Good luck for a speedy fix either way.

    6. It's really interesting to see owner video/photo of the dragon. The sculpting looks beautiful, even on the too-small body. I hope you get this resolved quickly.

    7. I believe so. It's very bright white, I was actually surprised how pure white is was versus a creamier tone. I do expect yellowing over time, but that's why I'm going with the gold vein look.

      The sculpting is really nice, and should take paint or mica powder absolutely beautifully. I think we'll see some really amazing stuff done with this sculpt.

      Alice's let me know that they've gotten in touch with DV and that DV requested a photo of the wings against my measuring tape as well (likely to be absolutely sure that the wings are indeed the right size). I've sent that off just now and so I wait. My big concern here is what the fix will be-I won't lie, shipping back to China makes me nervous, due to leaving such an expensive package at the mercies of the international postal system again.

    8. I completely understand, I'd be nervous about that - also whether they'd cover the postage - but I guess so long as you have proof of shipping it's not your fault what happens to it.

      I mean unless it turns out that there's someone else in your rough geographic location who ordered a white 1/6 dragon and is now contacting Alice going 'I think I got the 1/4 version instead with my 1/6 wings, please help'.

    9. Made a little update video; the even short version is: due to the cost the shipping back being so high (seriously, it was Bad), Alice's offered the 1/6 scale guy to me at a reduced price. I'm hoping to get an estimate for when the big guy will be arriving soon, my guess is August-September. Which adds an additional layer of fun to my planned floor redo in that period. Yay. :barf
