Thankfully I'm making her into a character from an anime, so she only has one outfit she needs from me haha. But I'll probably be getting a lot of custom clothes made. Her proportions are not standard ANYWHERE.

I'm turning her into Lapis from Land of the Lustrous.

Agreed! I got her with full blushing, so it wont be 100% accurate, but i think it will make it a more stylized version. I'm excited, but my layaway just started and goes until January, so I have a long way to go haha.

 

Hey ya'll! Does anyone know how long DVs current waittimes are? me and a friend ordered the saints egg and Rosa with wings and the whole shebang - non fullset - around christmas last year! And i also have an Aidenpluswolf in another group order which was ordered later!

Hi! Current wait time is about 5-6 months. Unfortunately, now they are slower then at the start of their career (it was about 3-4 months).

 

oh really? Are you sure, because it has been 6 months now. We're nearing the 7th month actually :O or is it 8th.. Yeah it must be the 8th payment in august, so 7 months!

i'm suddenly extremely impatient and curious to when it'll arrive at BJDivas..

 

I ordered Dec. 3 through DDE and they should be receiving the order this week sometime. It's more like 8 months.

 

Ah 8 months sounds more right. I'll wait with bothering Divas for an update then! thank you all!

 

Little update from me, I payed off my layaway on tan Mia this month.
It's four months now so hopefully the longest wait is over now (or at least halfway through), I am really excited for this girl

 

Hello all I got my shipping notice for my fullset Elias (and little Carey!) and I'm super excited!!!

 

My Ding arrived at DDE yesterday, but they forgot the faceup. I'm annoyed, but DDE said it would be another couple months to send it back and have them paint it, so I guess I'm just going to have to find someone to do it at some point.

 

Oh my gosh that's terrible ;; arent faceups extra money though...will you get a refund on that? There are lots of lovely artists on here that will do a great job on em at least ;v;

Yeah, they're $35 I believe (at least for Ding). I was doing the two payment plan, so DDE didn't charge me for the faceup on the second payment, which was lovely of them.

Yeah, I'm kinda miffed about it. I really didn't want to have to send it out for a faceup, but now I kind of have to. Maybe just email DV or whoever you ordered through and ask them to remind DV? Or at least double check that it's marked on your order on DV's end?

 

I asked Alice's collection to check DV with faceup.
They said my order will soon be sent

I ordered Grayson, Adela and Carey, all with no face up so I can make their scales match >:3 gunna do some drawing while I wait, but was planning on doing some black scales with pastels or glow in the dark paint that charges with low light/led that I have.
(also parcially hoping it will take less time for them to come in xDD)

@sugarcactus riiiight?? I was trying to hold off cause I wanted a girl to be my next doll I ordered but I kept looking at the tab and lost to that smile and cool dragonness =w=) Thinking gunna make him trans instead or least on the nonbinary end to fill the hole of wish there was a lady option >w<

@Helg I'm so excited to paint them +w+) might do some practice on my DZ Ro that came in and I haven't had a chance to faceup cause of the weather. (been in high 30s for past while and don't want to risk it cause he would have to chill outside for the drying process.)

 

Actually!!! I am going to do pretty much the same thing. I kind of gotten male dolls and just have them as female. I wanted Grayson to be that taller, slender, looking onee-sama to my other demon girls. Instead of a dragon, Grayson will be a demon instead. He has very effeminate features so it would go perfect!

 

I am still trying to decide on whether or not I want to buy a larger than small hoard... I want Grayson and Cayes... And then I want a tiny dragon family to emulate my own... Sooooooooo I would need Adela/Xion and then 3 of either Gary or Carey... And I think I have the perfect plan...

 

@sugarcactus fwaaa~ nice that we had the same plan with her :0 pretty much how I was planning it~ got two of the little dragons and was gunna have her be that caring guardian Not sure what kinda fashion I wanna go with. like if I wanna go for the cool look with the full set or if I would wanna go more a beauty look.

@mejohnson85 that took me a while to figure out ><) cause getting grayson was able to get carey with the event but then felt like needed adela to even it out so carey wouldn't be lonely. I wanted to get more too but stopped myself from it ><) tho was terribly tempted to get an extra of the body for hybriding later if I wanted to but will power won that battle xDD

 

Yea... I went back and forth entirely too long, but when I was looking at the pictures when I was at home and my kids fell in love, so I decided we could have a tiny dragon family.

 

@mejohnson85 thats one way to help with choices xDD awesome that your kids are into the dolls too~

I'm glad I"m not the only one. I'm so stoked for her. I have another boy doll from another company that is a girl too. I love the onee-sama look and boys these days have girl wardrobe made for them. It'll be easy to find outfits or stuff for 'em.

 

@sugarcactus +w+) nice!! I'm so excited for her too~ I'm sure it wouldn't be hard tho I plan on making most the outfits for her and my other dolls. >:3 trying to get better at sewing tiny so I could open up commissions for custom stuff once I get better~

sewing around her wings and tail will be a fun time +w+) partially thinking about going the final fantasy route and having lotsa belts

 

@sugarcactus I did finally decide... I asked my kids which ones they wanted... so far a unanimous decision with gary, but I wanted to know if they would be willing to do one in a different color... and not just the basic blue/red... I figured I would ask... I mean it doesnt hurt to right? Worst they can say is no, and then at that point I buy one blank and pay someone to paint it...

I got a little tiny Grug being sent to me from DDE! I have clothes and wig, and am excited to fix the little face and dress it. I wanted blank so I can make it how I want. I am going to make it into such a cute little girl, because it's genderless. 'Grug' is Welsh for 'Heather' and I can't find a Chinese meaning of the name. Maybe I'll name her Heather, maybe something else. Grug needs a new name, but I am not keeping the name Grug!

 

Whew! My Adela and Gary are finally here after some delay with USPS (I was told it was because of Amazon Prime day...). But here they are with my Aileen dragon! I'm sure I'll be back here when I order Papa dragon and sister Cary.
