Dream Valley Waiting Room

6 months average seems to be the wait time, but lately I've gotten my dolls much earlier than that. I guess it depends on what you order and who you order it from? I heard US based dealers have a much longer wait and full sets typically also have a longer wait time.

 

I ordered a Dumpling through acbjd, that's probably an off topic doll actually...

Anyway this was back in March and Alice just told me it'll take one more month, even though the rest of my order is ready, because Dream Valley has longer wait times

 

I just got my tracking number for two blank dolls from Alice's this week. I ordered them on feb 28.

 

It was around the middle of March, so that sounds about right. Dumpling has no eye holes so I got it blushed, that might mean it'll take a little longer.

 

Whoa, just got a shipping notice for my Aiden from DDE! I feel like this is wayyy too early for a March '22 order to be coming in, but I'll certainly take it! So excited!!!

I know this post is from last year lolol, but last month I ordered Dean on the B4-04 body through clover singing. I originally asked alice's collections but they said no because the neck size doesn't match. However, like your situation, Christina said that I could get my Dean on the B4-04 body. So now I'm kinda worried that also I'll get get an email soon saying that they can't and asking if I want to cancel. I know they did make the Dean II and Howard II heads for the B4-04 body, but I wanted the original Dean because I loveeee his horns and ears!! I guess I'll just have to wait and see!

 

I just ordered my first Dream Valley doll, Bor. He's just so cute! I adore his face, and I really wanted a dragon companion for the other doll I'm waiting on. I ordered him in white resin and with the full body-blushing.

 

I just want to know Denver Doll's secret to getting Dream Valley dolls so quickly. I ordered the Abyss mermaid in March, and ACBJD said it would be October before it would be ready.
DDE has a blank Abyss in-stock. Right now.
How? How?!?

 

Pretty sure DDE has had that one since their original release, I remember seeing Abyss/Nierus stock listings long before they had a second run but well after their release period and they moved fairly slow.

 

My Umi arrived but I haven't unboxed it yet because I've been ill. But yay, Umi! I wanna feel better so I can unbox my sweet little sea dragon...

And I just got a shipping notification that my hands and feet from ACBJD are shipping!
I'm going to have ALL of the feet! Lol.
I feel bad that they couldn't just stuff them in the box with Abyss.

 

I took the plunge. I ordered Dream Valley Aurora on the last day possible. I kept going back and forth in my mind because of funds and in the end I decided that this sculpt was too interesting and I didn't want to kick myself later. So I put her on an 8 month layaway. I am already having fun trying to draft design concepts for her!

I'm going to wear her wrapped around my forearm like a pet lizard at doll meets. She's creepy and looks like she's decaying. I love her. Also surprisingly light - but with your standard Dream Valley hulk tight stringing.

 

After having to wait longer for production, because I ordered dolls from different companies, I just learned they shipped two separate packages without telling me and one didn't arrive.

 

She's gorgeous! Have you decided on a name for her?

 

I've given up naming them - I have the memory of a goldfish.
Plus, keeping her sculpt name helps me remember the sculpt, lol.

My year-long wait for Dawn on layaway started last month. Not even a month has passed and the anticipation is driving me crazy. lol

Was waiting for confirmation from Alice's I could order Paker on Neil's body, but DV said they can so my order is in! The bone legs are super cool but don't work for my plans sadly, it's nice they can do the swap.

 

Moon came today, it's lovely.
My only complaint is in spite of being some of the nicest body blush I've ever had on a doll, the blushing was clearly done after the doll was put together. So there are lines of blank resin vs colored when I move and pose the doll in some ways.

 

I’ve been really good this year and made it 9 months before a (on topic) doll has tempted me enough to seriously consider getting it. Then DV releases Neil and I feel my resolve weakening. I’m going to wait a bit before putting one on order, just to see if I can talk myself out of him. Probably, maybe, we’ll see.

 

Pretty sure this is standard of DV... every doll I've had from them with blushing has been like this, and looking at some of their recent promo photos shows the same thing. Paker's legs even have white joints for the legs that have been painted black

I think is to reduce scuffing/chipping from where the joints are, since my Julie's tail looks pretty horrendous on the parts where the pieces have hit the most from natural movement. I can see why the unpainted parts could be bothersome but for me the longevity is appreciated, though I will probably not buy a painted doll from them again after the staining issue I had either.

 

I ended up ordering a Zhao in tan He'll be my second Dream Valley doll The dog boys are so cute but I could only get one and I can't resist a lil kitty

 

My doll from them's the same, I think it's because of scuffing too. It doesn't bother me too much, and the blushing still looks pretty good with how much I've been playing with him.

 

Wooooo! Just put in an order for a Collier Human head to hybrid on an myou 1/4 Girl Body Ver.II New. ORdered everything through a taobao agent for the first time so wish me luck! So excited to bring her to a curvier body than shes ever seen before! The neck will most certainly require some sanding though!

 

Yup. Finally placed my order for Neil in light tan through Alice's Collections. Couldn't resist the cute puppy and I've always wanted to get a doll in DV's light tan color, and he seemed perfect for it. At this point, I'm going to have dolls in every resin color except for their old purple, old tan, chocolate, and black. He's going to be buddies with my other DV doggo, Chaos~

 

Aaah, hmmm.. There's a new Dream Valley coming soon but it's a SD girl with horse legs (just two). It's been a while since the 1/3 Dream Valley discussion saw any action, so I was wondering if they really just haven't released any large dolls lately.

'Cause I got an order in just a few weeks (I think) before they announced this, and apparently the outfits haven't arrived to the dealer yet.

 

Yep, I’m waiting on several outfits from them. The oldest order is from November 2021 and I haven’t heard any update from the dealer about it.

Congrats on the order! Christina quoted me 5-6 months for my order, but DDE will take a little longer because they do batch orders usually. But DV dolls are totally worth the wait, I have 2 Ann's and 1 B56-01 body at home and they are great

Welp, put down another one for Apocalypse. I think he'll make a wonderful companion to my Soom Beryl... I received Dream Valley's Abyss Mermaid recently and even though she's a blank, I can't help but admire her sculpt and how expressive she is even without any body blushing, eyes or a wig. I'm looking forward to seeing Apocalypse in person!

I'm going to put my Soom Heliot onto the Horseman body, and his body will get a different head to be his lover. I would have gone for the full doll, but I found the Horseman head too grumpy looking

 

My purple Cheer with the plant arm ordered back in April shipped from BJDivas today! Hoping he’ll arrive in time for my birthday this weekend!

I also got some clarification from Divas about the status of the two Dream Valley outfits I ordered in November last year:

“Dream Valley is having trouble sourcing the materials to complete all outstanding outfit orders. The supply shortage caused them to discontinue selling outfits separately after they're first released, and it continues to affect current production.”

They asked me if I wanted to refund my order but I haven’t done so yet because… I really want those outfits.

 

Saame. It probably has to do with metal shortages. I happen to know that at times even crafts supply makers can't get enough to make all the needles they usually would.

I need to clean up photos to share what bits I remembered to capture for a box opening (I might have forgotten to keep taking pictures once I got into the first Satyr box)
