Dream Valley Waiting Room

I redid my room so I had space for my Dream Valley children once they got here. But I still have a couple months to wait (ordered 10/13). Who knows if my space will still be empty then.

Gah I didn't expect to be returning to the waiting room so soon, but I just placed an order for a fullset Ian through Angelesque! My sister's been waiting on a fullset Ann since October, so there's going to be a little Dream Valley family going on in our house haha.

 

Once I get my order from October, most of my collection is going to be Dream Valley. So I feel that.

I'd order one of the new guys too. But I have a thing about not ordering from a company again before I receive my items from the previous time.

 

I'm sad there's no post on Sunday. Every day I wait brings more anxiety that my baby is going to get lost or stolen!!!!

I put in an order for Athos today to make an OC of mine and I am FRIGGIN STOKED!
He's gonna wind up a huge money sink-slow-burn hobby, cuz his outfit needs entirely commissioned from scratch. XD I'm excited though! I've wanted this OC in a 3D form forEVERRRRR.

 

Huzzah! Can't wait to see the final product! It'll be worth it in the end!

What's funny is just 2 weeks prior, I was eyeballing their 51cm body and thinking, "hey that body is PERF for him but a lil small!" (He's a tall character, and I have 2 MSD's of his future kids, so I kinda wanted it in scale.) Also their faces weren't quite right for him, I needed one a lil sharper. Athos' face isn't as long per se, but it's enough that it will work just fine if I can do his faceup right and try to make an optical illusion.

And then..... POW. Christmas comes and they release their first 71cm bodies. I really think this company is my favorite one, EVER. Everything about their aesthetic is my jam, but it's not exaggerated too much like Doll Chateau. >v<

The best part of a layaway with AC, is that they make him while I pay. :3c So normal waiting time. I can't wait to see him. >v<

 

Always amazing to find bodies/dolls that fit OCs really well, congrats! I can't wait to see some owner pics of those 70cm boys, they look so amazing :0 I hope he arrives swiftly!!

In late Nov i ordered an Adela from Alice's Collections....and then thought about it for a bit and on Dec 2nd i ordered an Elias fullset from DDE, both paid in full...so I'm about a month in on my wait? It seems like the average is 3 months but to be safe I'm setting my expectations for April at least >>;
I'm really encouraged by all the positive buzz I've been hearing about these dolls~

 

Dropping in too and I also ordered Adela because...dragons. Ordered from BJDivas on a layaway (but I might just pay her and Gary off in the near future haha...) Can't wait to get mine.

@kimono311 Do you mean December 5, 2018 or May 12, 2018? If you mean the first date, when did you actually order the doll? Dream Valley is currently averaging about 3-4 months processing time for dolls. So your doll may not be completed yet. If you mean May 12, then who did you order through? Perhaps you should contact them?

 

Hello I'm joining the Adela party! I paid for her in full today and ordered through Alice Collections.

 

Emailed Alice collections the other day about my order from right at the very beginning of October, they said she’ll be ready in about 15 days! Can’t wait!!

I ordered an Ann in tan after I saw someone's doll in the Mini thread. She was going to be in white, but the tan looked really nice and somewhat translucent.

I don't think I've seen any tan from DV. When you get them, please post them!!

 

I have an order for a wonderful full set Elvish, and an event fox sidekick through ACs I ordered back on the the 9th of Oct.
Seeing that other Oct orders are shipping gives me hope mine will ship soon.

Hey y'all, I noticed Dream Valley didn't have a waitlist wiki page -- so I went ahead and made one!

I'm intending to order a 1/3 body very soon and love the organization of wiki based wait lists.
I looooove the ability to look at a list and see order and and arrivals at a glance!


So this is as much for my own satisfaction as it is a useful tool for all in this thread.
I went through the past few pages and added people's orders with as much info as I could -- if you see your order isn't on here please feel free to add it!
