Dream Valley Waiting Room

Does anyone know if Alice Collections emails you when your order has arrived to them? I have a Vine on layaway with them, and I'm wondering if I should just pay him off now, or if AC will let me know when he's arrived to them and ask if I want to pay off the remaining balance.

 

Ordered the 3 arm MSD girl body today! So excited, it’s going to be dyed black and hybrid with my dyed minifee head (she’s my profile pic)

 

I'm about in.....My 6th..7th week in waiting. It's killing me. Its my first doll so I don't have much to distract me from the wait time. I hope I live that long lol

I am at 2 months exactly as of today. The wait is terrible!!!!

 

My blank Vine arrived! Almost exactly three months, which is pretty dang good imo. I haven't gotten to do much with him since I'm in the middle of a move, but I'll reiterate others who've said that the posing is some of the best I've handled. Stringing is also very tight, but not to the point I'm worried about the resin. I suggest a sturdy pair of pliers to grab the s-hook when putting on the head.

 

I just placed my order like 5 days ago. So I have quite a bit to wait. Especially because i ordered 5 dolls during an event. But I'm already so excited for them.

 

I'm at about 2 and a half. I agree, the wait is terrible! This is my first doll and I've never had to wait so long for something I've ordered

I bought a Tan Seren with the special body from Alice's Collections on September 6th! The wait is terrible, but it's also exciting. I've been having fun coming up with photo ideas and designs for the third arm. I'm also learning how to modify shirts for the arm as well. I'm so excited to get him!

I really wanted Loxy or Foxy and Peanut when it was first released but I don't qualify. Ah, well...maybe next time.

Im at 9.5 weeks I'm so excited. This is the longest I've ever had to wait for something. Any one receive their doll yet???

Hello everyone. I'm joining this room waiting for Ann, Silence and Loxy ^^. At first I ordered only Ann, but temptation for this little fox was so big that few days later I added Silence to my order to be qualified for the event doll Can't wait to get them.

 

I got word from DDE that July's batch orders hasn't shipped out yet so November is a way out... But that was a few days ago. I'm so excited for my Cloris. She's so underrated.

 

I'm a little over the 3 month mark in the wait for my boy.. Fingers crossed he'll be here sometime next month!!

 

Just ordered Ann! Now the waiting game begins. Was there a wiki wait list created yet?

 

Pardon my newness, what is a wiki wait list?

 

It's like a wiki page that is used as a brand archive for orders. When someone place an order, they would list out when and what. Once they received it they would update the page adding when it was shipped and arrived. It's a really good page to estimate company patterns on how long it take from placing and order to arrival. I didn't see it here so I wasn't sure of it's something only an admin can do.

Sorry if that was very long winded! I guess a better example would be the Loongsoul waiting thread where there is a "wait list" link to the top of the page. The wait list archive back to 2016 I think.

I think anyone can start a list, however, I'm not sure how to link it to the Wiki. But, if someone sent a question to Ask the Moderators I'm sure they'd let them know how.

On another note, I ordered an Ann head on a boy fox body yesterday. I just couldn't get past that cute face. So now I'm waiting on a Vine and a boy Ann.

 

My boy shipped! Apparently he'll be here tomorrow :O

I made this post, but I didn't say what I actually ordered. Go me.

Anyway I'm going to be on the Vine crew. I ordered him fullset, white skin, with body blush. Without too much changing he fits one of my characters pretty well.

And Ann fullset, white skin, with Ian's outfit (the one I had mentioned in another comment). ((With the extra torso bit they offered))

I ordered from Alice Collections (because free shipping with what I was already ordering. That's why.)

 

I contacted Alice's Collections last night about changing my shipping address since I'd moved and she let me know that my Vine had already shipped. She didn't say when he shipped out, and if she doesn't get back to me before I leave work today I'll just run by the old place to see if anything's showed up. I really should have contacted her a week ago, so this wouldn't have happened. Oh, well hopefully, I'll have my Vine soon.

 

If you live in the US, you can do a parcel hold on it at the post office and pick up. you can also do an address change with them too.

 

AC said they were able to get the address updated, so all is well. Even if they couldn't, getting it from the old house isn't a big deal, and one of the reasons why I hesitated/waited on even asking to update it.

 

I'm on day ninety four of waiting. I wish I had another doll to distract me lol.
I'm glad you got your shipping handled. I'm scared that mines going to get lost in the mail as its close to that season!!-

 

Yeah, I was hoping luck would be on my side and the package would speed through and get to me before Thanksgiving, but there hasn't been any updates on tracking since the 17th. Looks like I won't see him until next week.

My Seren shipped from Alice's Collections! I ordered him on September 6th, and I they emailed me the tracking number today! I'm so happy the wait is almost over! Just for reference, I ordered him on layaway and finished paying for him earlier this month.

 

D: well heck I should have ordered from AC lol I bought mine from DDE in August. I hope I get a shipping notice soon.

I received my Vine today. My first impression when receiving the box was it's smaller then I was expecting, but nice and compact. The inside of the box has a QR code that takes you to DV's weibo page where you can see lots of additional pics of their dolls. Vine is absolutely lovely, and I love his sculpting, especially his hands and feet. I like how well he can point his toes. Some pictures I posted to instagram, Becca on Instagram: “I received my Dream Valley Vine today and I love him! He's sculpted so well. I love his hands and feet. He can point his toes quite well…”.

 

I forgot to post here that my Thorn (on the special body) from late August finally shipped! I had to combine this order with a newer order so that's why she's just coming now.

I'm excited, I've wanted a doll with the 3-armed body since it came out!

I'm not sure since the tracking hasn't updated since the 25th, and according to that he isn't in the US yet. But I hope he arrives soon.

Glad to know it’s normal. I had a doll arrive unexpectedly last week because the tracking never updated. So I was thinking this might be a similar situation.
