Does anyone have these cute Dream Valley bunnies ? What faceup did you give him ?

 

I'm a bit late to the party...but wow the jointed hands on that dragon! I ordered mine through DDE in early Feb, so maybe I might get him soonish. Congratz on your new arrival! Maybe you'll be back in this waiting room again one day haha.

Trying to get pictures of him was hard as he is very heavy and he didn't want to stand at first.

Did you order the big one too? Red or Black? I'm so tempted to pick up one of the in stock small black dragons from DDE....I really really like the big one!

 

Thank you. Just about everything moves on him. His neck joints, tail, legs and after a bit of playing with him. I have figured out better ways to get him to stand etc. His wings are tricky and still working with them. I just love this guy.

I ordered him in red...should have ordered a black but I just like the red color too much. Not sure if DDE will let me swap if they ordered extra black 1/4 dragons.

Today marks 4 months , one week, since ordering Mermaid Lilya. Just noting it here to sort of keep track of order length

 

Had to resize them - but here's a few shots of my Bahamut!
Minor issues with his thigh-joints wanting to let his legs slide out sideways (especially when I tried to put him on a slick floor) but I think a bit of hot glue could fix that, and I wouldn't say I'm impressed with the paint job, but otherwise I love him. He has so much personality!
Apparently he's claimed the bed for himself...

The black looks sooo good. I wonder if I DDE will let me switch over to a black 1/4 instead of a red. I'll have to email them tomorrow.

With people now just getting their full set 1/4 dragons, I wonder if this will push any later orders back. I'm still waiting on my full set Fawna since mid March.

Got a notice that my lovely little deer has shipped! Ordered Cedar back in February so it's been about 9 months which is super funny to me

 

Congratz! Full set? From Alice's collection? If you just got yours shipped today then mine might be a bit longer as I ordered in March.

Indeed it was a Fullset through Alice Collections. He just arrived too! I have a pic of his headless body and eyeless head so far because it amuses me to send them to my friends and get their reactions.


Next to Julius ( AKA Ringdoll Pan) --who is also without eyes because for some reason I like him that way. Thinking of pairing them up as a Life and Death Avatars.

Name-less Deer stands REALLY REALLY WELL. Might be the hooves. He is just about rock solid even as I keep bumping my desk.

Oh I do love the hooves. I'm a bit of a sucker for fluffy looking hooves, not that I have any so far.

 

@Pafferton - I love that nose and ears! Do the legs hold well in other poses too? Congrats and good luck completing him!

 

Did any one order a full set bone crystal butterfly directly from DV? If so, have you gotten any updates? I ordered through a dealer and have only been told they needed more time for the Full sets. That was on Sept 2nd. I'm sure everything is fine, but can't help wondering when seeing more complicated dolls released at a later time already shipping out

 

I don't think you can order directly from DV, only from dealers. I think the Bone Butterflies should have gone out by now, but if you ordered from a US dealer that I'm thinking of, it could be another couple months.

I figured id be in for a long wait, but haven't had a delay compared to other dealers like this before with them. I have another doll ordered with them (la luna doll) as well that is also on the neededmoretime list. *sigh*

 

Update: I got a shipping notification monday Oct 21 from Alice"s Collections. Checked the tracking and it said "out for delivery"

Dragon I ordered for my husband from Dolk has shipped. He knows something is coming but has no idea what it is. I am so excited to record his reaction. Super stoked.

I am so excited, after lamenting I was not able to get one the first time around, I ordered a re-release Sylves Dragon, I have been looking for a half dragon that lived up to his vibes ever since. I am so happy they re-released him

 

Just got notice that my Fawna that I ordered in March will be shipping soon! So I think DV is slowly catching up.

 

Eight months yesterday on my dragon and no updates on that. I knew waiting times could be long and I'm not angry or upset, it just kind of struck me.

 

Where did you order? Was it a 1/4 or 1/6? If 1/4 and you ordered from a US dealer, then they don't seem to have them yet...I'm still waiting on my 1/4 from DDE I ordered in Feb.

 

1/4 fullset in red from Alice's Collections.

 

Might want to contact Alice on that...people seem to have gotten their 1/4 dragons already and the March orders are starting to ship out now.

 

I'm still waiting on my 1/4th black dragon from DDE ordered it end of Jan so going to give it a bit more before I worry.

 

So I did email Alice, just to ask, they contacted Dream Valley and apparently 20 more days. I assume that's production time so it will then have to ship to Alice and then from Alice to me so I guess it'll be a very late birthday present/early Christmas present.

 

That's reasonably good news then!! Glad they got back to you so promptly. Fingers crossed there'll be no further delays!!
FWIW: shipping from Alice's to the US East coast only took 5 days!

Ignore the fact that he has no shoes on. He was gifted his own horse for his 6th birthday and was so excited to ride he skipped putting on any shoes.

My dragon is finally incoming! I ordered from DDE way back in Jan so, it's about time. That said dragons are like wizards neither late, nor early, they show up whenever they feel like it. (Much like cats for that matter.)

Anyway my blank black 1/4th 2 eyed dragon is on his way.
I'm going to have to panic clean him a spot as the one I had planned got filled by another doll. XD
I plan paint highlights on him with some bright neon green and/or glow paint to give a kind of toxic/poisonous look to my boy.
For now just happy he is incoming and doing the incoming doll dance.

 

Same here! I just got the notification today for my 1/4 blank black dragon with two eyes and his blank rider! I plan on going with a blue galaxy theme with mine. The toxic, green poison sounds like it's going to be absolutely fabulous!

 

Yay for more dragons taking flight! Hope they arrive safe and sound. ^_^ Both of those color schemes sound great!

 

I saw that DDE were getting their big dragons in so I emailed them about alternate shipping methods...they haven't received the full sets yet, might take another month. That's good to know at least.

 

I should be getting my Human Rin in before the year end, I'm so excited and I hope I bond well with her!!

One weird thing with mine with his head off his jaw fits well and stays closed. However when it's on the neck the jaw is loose and the mouth falls open and wont stay closed.

I love him though 100% worth it.

 

Got the shipping notification for my Fawna that I ordered back in February! Longer wait than expected but so excited to have her home soon!

 

My dragon arrived earlier in the week and omg he is awesome! I haven't had the jaw issue, mine seems to have 'closed', slightly open and very open as his jaw positions. I really love his rider, Lucia. But now I'm kinda regretting not getting the outfit. She's so tiny, I have no idea how I'm going to clothe her.

At this point I'm fairly certain DV has their artistic claws stuck in my wallet because I'm waiting on Cedar and Ghost Moth.

 

I got a shipping number for my dragon today which I ordered nearly exactly nine months ago.

Playline doll clothes? I'm thinking Barbie, Monster High, Rainbow High. I'm not entirely sure of her dimensions compared to those dolls but it seems like they'd be close. There are also people who make patterns for dolls that size so you can make your own.

 

I have some 1/6 dolls that fit well into Barbie and the Disney ILY 4ever stuff but they're not as slim as Lucia. I completely spaced on Monster High and Rainbow High - I collect those lines too!

I could only scrounge up a Rainbow Jr High outfit (the rest are stored behind the xmas presents that need to be wrapped) and it worked well minus the longer sleeve since Lucia's hands are bigger than the fashion doll. Draculaura's bottoms (new generation curvy body) were perfect but not the top. It'll probably be hit or miss with a lot of things (needing velcro, stretchy fabric, etc, etc). I don't plan on a modern outfit so I'll have to keep my eyes out for patterns or attempt my own...one day.

If you have clothes that fit her but aren't exactly the style you want, then you can use those as patterns to make clothes which fit and are the style you want. Plus, you have an example of how the pieces fit together.

My dragon is flying to me on a plane. Which seems lazy for a creature with wings but okay.
