Dream Valley Moonlight Sonata Fullset

Nov 5, 2025

    1. Hello, it has been a very long time since I did a box opening thread, let's see if I still know how to do this lol

My order was placed at the end of March through Alice's Collections and arrived at the beginning of November. She is the fullset in white skin.

Box arrived safe and sound through ACBJD. There's a little tear in the corner of the inner box but that doesn't bother me.

Here we have the clothing neatly packaged on top

From this point, I started going a bit quickly, because my mom came in to watch and it made me a bit awkward (I have dolls sent to my parents house since they're usually there to receive it, and right now I don't have a lot of space at my place, so I did the initial opening there at their table). Here she is mostly de-mummifyied, but they stuffed the joints with packing material. It was hard to get out, but made a lot of sense, as the limbs and joints are painted and could rub.

Back at my place I took some close ups and finished putting her together.

      Make up:

With the eyes in. I'm used to SD's - it was a struggle fit my fingers in there, and I couldn't get her head off to make it easier (she's very tight and my tools are somewhere in my disorganization). They appear to be the ones with the follow-you effect.

Here she is mostly put together. Not pictured: her violin bow and one of the arm laces - I will need to remove her hand to get that one on. I also didn't notice her other arm lace need to be pulled down when I took this. I would like to get some better shots once I get a proper space set up for her and can get her posed and her costuming fully arranged!

She is so pretty, and my first Dream Valley doll. I'm really impressed by the quality! The joints moved so smoothly and held their position well - although she was kicky when I was trying to get the shoes on (but all dolls suddenly develop the kicks when you're trying to do that!). The wig not only looks beautiful but is sooo soft. Probably the softest wig I've felt.
